First time here and also during the day but I can sense this being the go-to spot on Baxter Ave. Drinks were strong, Atmosphere was great, and food was yummy!

A great place to come for pub grub and hanging out. Excellent outdoor seating, with lots of shade and fans. I think the reuben here is delicious and worth a try. Great selection of beer as well. Make it a point to come check this place out.

The place had a lot of people inside and outside. We sat inside and ordered one drink each. The atmosphere was lively. Someone took our order, and it was quick. We got there around 9 or 10 pm. We ordered old fashion and island time. The cocktails were good.

We’ve been coming here regularly for over a year and we absolutely love it. The atmosphere is awesome, service is consistently great and the food is really good. A ton of choices for beer, alcoholic milkshakes are phenomenal and the atmosphere is relaxed and fun but not loud. Definitely our favorite pub in Louisville!

Service was quick and friendly. Located in a nice area with lots of shops and restaurants. The quesadilla was the best I’ve ever tasted in my life.

O'Shea's on Baxter in Louisville? What a complete delight! The restaurant is like a beer garden with a whole lot of outdoor seating! The food and atmosphere is fantastic! The charred brussel sprouts are amazing! The fish and chips are fantastic; fresh battered fish! Yummy! I like the beer battered fish better at the O'Shea's in New Albany, IN better! Smile, but my husband liked the fish better here! The house salad is made with spring mix! Love! The service is on point, and it was great to talk with the Bartenders! So many stories they all had! Love this restaurant! Please go, you won't be disappointed!

One of the most fun watering holes I have ever been to. We spent a weekend in the highlands and visited this establishment every day. It felt very much like home from the instant we first walked in. Greeted at the door. The bar staff super friendly and engaging. Reasonable price on cocktails and food. The food is extremely well done and very tasty. Everything our group ate was top of the line. The vibe is awesome. I loved it so much I tattooed their mascot on my arm before I left town!!!

My server Cole was great atmosphere was cool I enjoyed how the glasses were organized and coach jack the door man is better then most of the door man he help people find the bathroom and the only biggest issue I had was the beer cheese not being sweet enough. Not being able to use tap and pay cash is out dated.

Loved this Irish pub! Waiters were very attentive. The "Paddy Punch" was delicious. My husband & I split the large chicken tenders & fries. The tenders were a bit overcooked, but I still enjoyed them. However, the fries stole show & were amazing! We had drinks outside next to the fountain and garden gnomes! So fun!

The staff was great. The Ruben was lacking in flavor. There was a slight taste of corned beef but I really could not taste any of the other ingredients. The bread was really thick. It was 3/4 bread. Fries were very salty but nice and crispy. Go for the beer and skip the Ruben.

Last night we had my daughter’s 30th birthday in the cottage house… What an absolutely beautiful setting surrounded by early 20th century architecture, music from the courtyard and just a great vibe coming from the main house. The food was absolutely delicious. The bartender was wonderful and cheerful… Didn’t get her name though, we were extremely satisfied with this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a birthday party, baby shower, bridal party, etc.. also, the price was very very reasonable. Well done O’Shea’s…. Slainte.

Simply hands down the best bar in Louisville for food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. Pictured below is “The Patrick” an amazing burger at Osheas.

3 Irish pubs in a very close proximity, we picked O’Shea’s based on reviews. When we got there, it was quite full where as the others we passed weren’t as busy. Food was great, staff was very friendly and the costs were reasonable. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back when we’re back in town!

OOO IT WAS SO GOOD! Great atmosphere Great Food Great service... We are participating in Burger Week and Oshea's in the Highlands did not disappoint! We had shots of Cooper's Craft 87 proof YUMM You can't come to and Irish pub and not have an Irish Ale so Smithwick's was the way to go. It was good. Not my favorite but went great with the food. We ordered 3 Duffy Burgers,& an order of chips. The one person paired a blue moon with a Ruben. He says it "brought out the savoriness of the corned beef. it was a nice tangy pairing". Overall 5/5 NO complaints here

I am starting to love this place. It is really neat. It might become my hang out place because the servers and bartenders and also the host are so nice. This will might be my perfect hang out spot when the weather is nice so that I can sit outside. I was there for burger week. Their "Duffy" burger is quite delicious and very simple.

Ended up here on NYE and was able to get in fairly quickly. The bartenders were super nice and efficient. We got food it came out so quick I love how they were serving late night food for us to counteract the drinks. Great experience and we will be back

From out of town, first time coming here and they made me feel like a regular. Kevin is the MAN, and all the staff I interacted with were both pleasant and knowledgeable about their products. Great prices, generous pours, and access to lots of bourbons that folks from out of state can't buy. This family run, family owned joint is the place to be, and I'll be back.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendly staff and felt so welcomed and at ease throughout! We got a couple drinks (loved all of them!) and one of the bartenders even let us take group pictures behind the bar! Definitely a must visit for a drink or two if you're in the area. We did not try the food as we came from dinner at another place.

Terrible service. I was here from Cincinnati on a trip with friends visiting my friends who visit O Sheas a spot they go to a lot. We got Polomas with 818 tequila. The drink was $8.50 we asked for 818 and it was $20. Took a sip no alcohol. When I asked why it was so much they said it's "Kendall" Then proceeded to laugh at us. I have never had a more expensive drink. So when we asked why it has no alcohol the WHOLE staff was disrespectful. Didn't even offer to make a drink and proceeded to point and laugh. Disrespectful staff and will never be coming back here again.

Came here for St. Patrick's day and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere was great, food was perfect. Thanks for making our day exactly what we were looking for the holiday in Green !

We walked down Baxter street past other bars and restaurants that were empty, and we were wondering if we were in the wrong part of town. But then we found out that everyone was at O'Shea's. In fact, the four of us couldn't find a place to sit, and we wanted to watch the end of a college football game. I poked my head inside the bar area, and right away a guy asked what I was looking for. "Four seats in front of the game" was my answer. He ushered me to the end of the bar, where there were three stools, and then went and grabbed a fourth. Two other patrons were already eyeballing our seats before my friends arrived. Later, the same guy stopped, put his hand on my shoulder, and checked to see how we were doing, and how the seats were. I was impressed with that. This is a great bar with interesting seating inside and out. There was a wildly diverse mix of customers, but this seems to be a student hangout for sure. We enjoyed conversations with staff and patrons, and some good local beers. I'd definitely go back.

Great tasting plenty cold well poured Guineas…delightful fish and chips. Best fish and chips I’ve had in the Midwest! Bite and flavor in the beer batter but not overpowering…white fish flakey delicate and clean. Incredible service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
