This American fast food restaurant is located on the famous Fourth Street in Louisville, Kentucky. In a pleasant environment ideal for watching a football game with friends or just eating a hamburger one afternoon. At least this place, that day was quite empty (maybe because of the dates) but all the service was fast and very attentive.

Just hard to describe how bad the food was. It took 30-45 minutes to get the taste out of my mouth. There is no way the cook should have let that dish leave the kitchen of the bartender serve it.

Great experience. Sadly they’re short-staffed but this lunchtime it was quiet, and the service was excellent and attentive - and the food was excellent! Ribs can be dry or have little meat on them, but these were juicy with plenty of meat on them. The burger was great, too!

Visited last week. Couple of family members got together to have a quick bite. Anyways, will not be visiting this establishment again! TGIF has fallen off( as in the food was horrible, and looked nothing like pics.in fact the food was wayyy different than what was on the menu)!! Plus the food was cold! Gave three stars because our server was awesome, and she recommended the Royalty LIT which was lit!! 🤪 I left there with a nice buzz after two drinks.

Ordered dinner for 9:30 pm, but apparently, the chef mistook my meal for a slow-cooked masterpiece, delivering it at 10:15 pm. The fries decided to play hide and seek, mashed potatoes pulled a vanishing act, and the New York strip steak got replaced by a burned burger patty – a true culinary illusionist at work! I haven't been this disappointed since I tried to teach my cat to juggle. One star – for turning dinner into a comedy of errors, or should I say, culinary calamity!

The food was good, as usual. The ribs and salmon were on point. Unfortunately my experience lacked a bit in the service area. I'm going to blame it on the fact that they were short handed. As is most places these days that provide any type of service. So make sure you have plenty of time and pack some patience.

Can't comment. Attitude from the moment we walked in. No greeting from two standing at the pedestal. Then another woman came up and was much nicer but explained they had one server and one cook. Would we like to do take out. Sure I get it no problem. Directs us to the back and off we go. Well, that employee couldn't have had a worse attitude. I apologize we came to spend money to keep you employed. We left. And a hard pass on ever visiting this place. If you miss the sign, it's just "days"...

Ms Shon worked as the bartender today. My husband and I are visiting from south Florida. We love Fridays, and stopped by for our favorite Ultimate Cobb Salad. She was very pleasant and attentive. She checked to make sure we were doing fine. We appreciate her kindness and attentiveness. Thanks for a job well done. Food was good too! 🙏🏼🤗

Ate here for dinner on a Sunday. No wait, seated immediately. Great service from Layton, food was deliciously perfect. Drinks could have been better.

The heat was out on the coldest week, the server Brandi was so sweet and brought us a space heater to try and help. It didn't do much good the food was ok bit I feel like it cooled off so fast because of how cold it was. I feel so sorry for the poor employees it was miserable in the restaurant and had I known the heat was out we would have gone somewhere else.

I'll be honest. I've never really went to TGI Fridays for their food. It's never impressed me before. But it has been years since I've ate there. Mostly it has just been having a drink. So when I went there to eat dinner yesterday I did not have high expectations. I must say, however, that my visit was astounding. Although there was a communication issue over my drink initially, this was a very praiseworthy meal. Between my company and myself we each had different meals and every component of both was exemplary! Had to wait a bit longer for one side dish (the garlic green beans with bacon), but it was so delectable that its tardiness can be overlooked. For the first time in a long time I've been impressed with a meal from here. My compliments to the chef and staff.😋

I headed out for the Jason Aldean concert. We decided to have dinner at TGI Fridays prior. I am actually writing this review at the bar. I am highly disappointed in the overall experience with this restaurant. I ordered an appetizer that consisted of cheese sticks, potato skins and 18 boneless wings and after some time was told that they didn’t have any boneless wings. Then was told that they found them. Weird. I had ordered one drink and it was good but when I went to order a second drink, the bartender persisted that I needed to drink some water first. Thought it was a joke as I do consistently drink water throughout the night while partaking in adult beverages, but then I was told I need have a second water before I could order a second beverage. I was explained that this was a family restaurant and that they can’t serve people too many drinks. There were no kids or “family” anywhere in the restaurant and although I wasn’t being belligerent in any manner I couldn’t score a second drink. Anyway, I hope my experience with this one employee doesn’t reflect on the restaurant as a whole. However, she kept talking about how this is the last TGI Fridays in Louisville and I’m beginning to understand why! Food was decent and atmosphere was nice but the customer service was not the best and I think the use of common sense was non existent.

It was nice being able to visit a TGIF restaurant in Kentucky. We don't have any open in Indianapolis. I miss the fried green beans and hope we can have this restaurant back one day. It's a favorite spot back home in Indy. Our server, Mytica, was so kind. She was very punctual, giving and a hard worker.

We ordered TGI Fridays twice this week so I should be giving them 10 stars. The food was really good Thursday so we ordered again tonight. It didn't take long to have our food delivered. When part of our order was missing the manager was more than willing to get the missing food to us. Thank you to the staff for being so pleasant to deal with.

I had a wonderful experience here. It was busy. So we were told there was a 45 minute wait. It ended up being only 15. The waiter was engaging and not overbearing. So the conversation was welcomed. The food was delicious. All in all it was a great visit.

My food was very good, that apple butter BBQ sauce is a must try!! I had it with my grilled salmon and broccoli. All I can say is 😋...and our waitress was super cool from Louisiana and very professional. Stop in sometimes😘

I don't even care that the food is cold, but I can't even eat it for various other reasons. My steak is overcooked and hard as a rock, the bite I tried to eat was bland and tasted horrible, my elotes corn is rubbery and tastes like spoiled milk, the loaded mashed potatoes are dry and salty, the green beans were actually decent and the only part that's edible for 70 bucks. Never been more disappointed in a food order.

Came in for a late lunch with the kids stood at the front desk for roughly 15 to 20min before a young woman walked into the front door she was the hostess just clocking in for her shift ... sorry everyone we only have three people working the manager is the cook and I just got here... should have turned around and left but I had too many hungry kids so we was seated. The waitress was prompt and polite food was OK not good but OK till we finished and was driving home and all five of us started vomiting out the car doors "Food Poison" ....... this place needs to be closed down asap. This restaurant is dangerous🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Being downtown and not even busy but having to wait over 30min after being sat before the waiter even came to the table, that didn't even count the time we waited outside. Another hour to get the food. Place is a joke. I asked for a sample of their sauce so I'd see if I liked their signature sauce for my wings. Needless to say I never got that sample, everyone ate while I sat with nothing because our waiter never came back. I went to the bar to order to-go because our waiter was never coming back and the bartender turned me around and said to get with my waiter. Spent 3 hours at this place. Wouldn't recommend.

Them Itty bitty steaks are easy to serve well done, yet mine was still rare. I asked for well done. Our server was awesome! He was the host, saw that we hadn't been taken care of yet, and ended up being our server. We tipped him well.

This particular TGIF is terrible!!! From the beginning, I saw their cook smoking outside, when they just arrived for work. I went in, and their hostes were amazing. We waited nearly 45 minutes, when clearly it wasn't busy. Their bartender closed half of the store because some other bar tender didn't feel comfortable waiting on people on their own. In the midst of waiting for 45 minutes, I see two more chefs go out of the store of a smoke break while people are waiting to be seated and served. Whoever is the manager has got to hire better workers in this establishment, or the manager themselves need to be fired for hiring workers who can't perform. Next thing. I ordered a medium well hamburger and got served a well-done burger. Not cool!! I would have asked for my burger to be redone, but I asked for our order to go because we had a meeting to go to. I only knew about my burger when I arrived at my meeting. So disappointing.

Last night my husband, son and I ran around downtown Louisville trying to find a last minute place to eat , 2 stops were completely full with reservations, TGI Fridays was the first place we could get on a wait list. Our wait was 45 minutes, which was fine, we were hungry and cold from walking. As we waited, multiple people came and went, some waited, some didn't. When our time came to sit, we had the most AMAZING waiter, Michael was his name. He apologized multiple times for the wait, was perfect at getting us fast drinks. Always asking if there was anything else we needed. When we ordered and we would ask opinions he was honest with what he's had and what he thought was great. I chose a whiskey combo, which was ribs, shrimp and sides, came out perfect. My husbands steak came out perfect. Even tho our food took a few to cook, which was understandable due to how busy they were, Michael kept us in the loop, kept up with our refills, asking if we needed anything. Just an amazing experience and phenomenal service. At the end our our meal, when we paid, we left a great tip, he actually came back before running it thru the system and asked if we were sure we ment to tip him that much. Which he was well worth it! Thank you again, Michael for an amazing time.

The food is what you expect from a TGI Friday's, which is really pretty good standard American fare. I had the whiskey-glazed burger and it was great, cooked just the way I wanted it, and that glaze is awesome. The fries were okay, but nothing special. I also ordered the chips and salsa and while they were decidedly overpriced, the salsa had a smokiness to it that I really dug. Also, our server was great, very warm and welcoming and attentive, accommodating even though we were a bit of a problem party. My big complaint is that the place feels pretty rundown and a bit dingy. And the restroom was outright unpleasant. There's also the fact that we were there on a Friday night and the live music playing out on Fourth Street was loud enough to make the windows rattle and conversation difficult.

I loved the ladies that were working and the food was great. The only thing I want a fan of were the potato skins.

The lady that served my friend and I was very respectful and kind. She knows how to do her job. We tipped her well because she was kind and had a genuine smile on her face. The other workers were happy too. I recommend this eatery!

This place is becoming awesome ... fr ... I began on November 18th of 2022 and had no idea what I was getting myself into... I started off making little less than $14 an hour, but I was coming straight out of prison and didn't expect much more than that .. a lot of guys can say yeah, I can cook; I can do this but actually to do it is another thing I have a culinary degree from Southern Kentucky Technical University or skytech (Bowling Green Technical College)...
