This place is awesome. We rented the upstairs room for my 50th birthday party. What a nice intimate space. Perfect for around 25 to 35 people. The pizza and garlic balls were amazing. Had some boneless wings that seemed like they were pre made and frozen. But the service was top notch. And we will be back for sure.

I am not sure if my family and I just caught them on a bad night but this place was such a disappointment. The pizza was bland and it took over an hour to get 1 pie that we ordered. We sat for another 30 minutes waiting for a 10" pie. They both should have came out at the same time. My husband ordered a salad and when he asked where it was, the waiter just looked at him crazy.... At that point he didn't even want the salad anymore. The waiter would not make eye contact with us at all and kept running past us. He didn't even check on us to acknowledge the extremely long wait. We had to chase him to get his attention. When I asked for a pizza box to put my 10" pie in to go home they tossed a styrofoam box at me, meanwhile everyone around us has the cardboard pizza boxes. I hate to even insinuate this but we were the only ethnic family in seated and all the other tables of people appeared to be being serviced in a better manner. This place came highly recommended and I was super excited bc they advertise NY style and me being from NY... but it was definitely not! Over $70 wasted-- We definitely will NOT be back.

Delicious pizza and cheesy bread. Great bourbon selection at reasonable prices. The girls working the bar were down to earth, friendly and personable. The service was top notch. Will be back when in Louisville. Plenty of TV's to watch sports.

Love you can get pizza by the slice. Patio area is great which they have a second which is more private. Great place for family or a date

Pizza and Pub who's menu offers pizza (super-sized slices), sandwiches, chicken wings and salads as well as a full bar with a nice selection of beer. The hand-tossed, New York Style Pizza dough is made fresh daily with homemade mozzarella and fresh vegetables. Hand-rolling and slow proofing the dough creats a perfectly crispy crust. The pizza is available by the Whole Pie or Slice (huge).

We came here for the very first time a couple weeks ago we enjoyed their pizza so much that we came back with the inlaws in tow. They were just as impressed! The best calzones I've had in a very long time. Awesome! The flavors reminded me of some I've had in Italy. And great service! We went early enough there was no wait and we had our choice where to seat. Great experience!

There is not enough good to say about this hidden gem. The atmosphere is unbeatable, the staff is AMAZING and the owners are phenomenal. Whether you're looking for just a slice, or a beer and HOMEMADE LASAGNA, this is the place to go. Don't sleep on this place. Martha cooks the lasagna with something no other place can touch, LOVE. You can taste the care she puts in every bite. As if that's not enough to sell you, they have that homemade ranch. (If you know, you know.)

We came to Louisville to see the "Lights under Louisville" and stopped here for dinner while visiting. It's a cool building with a great atmosphere. The food was great and the service was even better! We had an awesome waitress that made our experience even better!

Soooo good. I absolutely loved everything we got. I got the slice of the sweet heat pizza, and it was so big I couldn't finish it. My boyfriend did a build your own calzone and we enjoyed the jalapeno cheddar bites.

Took my friend Destiny there just to hang out with her. It was good. Lasagna wasn't worth the price but it was good

My wife and I had a date night, so naturally we decided on pizza. Our daughter has not been a fan of pizza lately so we don’t get pizza anymore. We ordered cheese bread (very much like garlic cheese stick, but not to be confused with “cheese sticks”) with marinara and beer cheese (beer cheese is a spread not melted cheese) and it was delicious. Then we order a small BBQ Chicken 1/2 no onions sub jalapeño and again, fantastic pizza. Toppings were perfectly even, cheese to topping ratio was nice as well, and the crust was perfect for a hand tossed fan. Oh yeah. I’m a sucker for all things condiments, so I ordered a side of their housemade ranch and it was as good as it gets in terms of housemade dressings. Service was ok, but everyone was nice and welcoming, the atmosphere is ok, nothing fantastic (more of a hole in the wall floor, but that’s what we wanted). Don’t confuse that as a nice way of saying it was a dump because that it was not, it was a nice sports pub. I’ll rank everything accordingly, so see below. Give them a try! Garlic cheese sticks with marinara and beer cheese: 8/10 would recommend BBQ Chicken Pizza: 8/10 would highly recommend Housemade ranch: 9/10 must try Beer cheese: 6.5-7/10 would recommend, but watch out for the back end spice. (Full disclosure, I like melted beer cheese better than spreads) Price: 7/10 $31 before tip (waters to drink). Not expensive, but not cheap either. To be fair, in 2023, $31 for everything mentioned is par for the course. Overall experience: 5 out 5 stars and 8.5/10 will be back and enjoy more delicious food.

I would only pay cash here after my last experience. I paid for an online order and signed my receipt upon pickup. I wrote the total on the line and signed, and crossed through the tip line (it was a carry out order). Then the next day, I notice the charge on my card was more than expected ($54 vs $48). I go back the next day and have a manager look up the receipt. At first, he says the tip was left online, not in the store due to the way the receipt was formatted. I know I didn’t do that so I asked for him to pull up my signed receipt. He does that and sees I signed off on the $48 total, then explains someone else’s receipt got mixed up with mine and I was charged for their tip. This seems plausible, but to say I originally must’ve tipped online then changed the story to say I tipped in store seems odd. I wasn’t looking for free food or to get someone fired, but I’m not sure the explanation they gave holds up to me. I order pizza from here fairly often, so being a repeat customer this was pretty disappointing and if I do ever come back, I will not pay with a card. As for the food, the pizza was fine, the salad was mediocre.

My husband and I are in Louisville from Philadelphia for one night en route to see family. Hands down one of the best places we found — there was a private party for 50 happening plus poker plus trivia but you would never know with the level of attention we got (plus all the laughter with our server). Add in absolutely incredible food and drinks and this was perfection.

Great food, great people running the place, prices are very fair. Ample portions & a cool atmosphere! Have to love a pizza place that offers a 15lb pizza!

When pizza or calzones are full of grease that's usually an indication of cheap ingredients like over processed cheese. I took a bite out of my calzone & I turned it up & grease started pouring out of. I should have taken a video. It's definitely not like a coal-fired oven Neapolitan type pizza . I used to like this place but that was truly disappointing.

Great food!!! Our waitress was very nice and friendly I wish I would have got her name. The garlic knots are to die for. Pizza was also awesome. The cinnamon dough knots are the bomb ! Next time we're in Louisville we will eat here again.

What a hidden jewel! New York style pizza that is hot, fresh, and loaded with toppings. Great bar with signatute cocktails and drinks. You can also order pizza by the slice.

The atmosphere was nice. I placed a to go order, the wait was a little longer if you are on a short time frame but the service was professional and thorough. It is a little pricey.

Cheese bread was cardboard. The crust itself was about as thick as a cardboard box and just as tough. Cheese was nonexistent. Pizza was way over cooked and the pizza crust itself had the same impossible to bite through cardboard feel. My son had a friend over. They're 12, they eat any and all breadsticks and couldn't get throught it. I threw some out in the yards for the animals to eat and they won't touch it. Shame, I really wanted to like this place.

I only gave 1 star because ZERO stars isn't an option. Just left this place and a couple things have me never wanting to return. First the terrible pizza. We ordered and stressed no olives! I could literally puke from the taste of an olive. Pizza was brought out and what's on it? Olives! I try to pick them off because the waitress appeared as tho she didn't know what to do or say. I'm 1/3 of the way through my 1st piece and hit an olive! Game over...I'm done....but, I'm hungry so I try to push through while dissecting each bite. However the onions & green peppers are so hard that it's like I'm biting into a green pepper right off the vine...the veggies were still cold, so no...the pizza wasn't cooked long enough in my opinion. I say something else to the server who proceeds to say the manager gave us a deep discount. I told her I didn't even want the pizza, so talk to the manager because I'm not paying $40 for something we couldn't even eat. This accomplished NOTHING! And the discount was hardly anything, only a few bucks. In the end, I brought it home simply because I was still charged. I go up to the manager myself and tell him the problem. His response? "Ok." WOW! What a joke! Aside from this, it's 102 outside and maybe 90 inside...so stuffy! Get some air flowing through that place! I'd much rather make the drive a tad further to St Matthew's from now on. Get it together Baxter! Utterly ridiculous! I feel l wasted money considering I'm now putting said raw pizza in the oven to actually cook thoroughly!

DiOrio's hosted a private outdoor gathering to support the 2022 St. Patrick's Day Parade. Staff and food were fantastic! Made for a wonderful celebration for all involved. Would definitely encourage any group exploring a host site for their next event to reach out to Diorios. The patio is a great venue indeed!

DiOrios is situated in an historic building in downtown (I think) Louisville. Their food is absolutely fantastic. They had karaoke the night we were there. They have a full compliment of drinks and a great selection of beers including local craft beers.

Great pizza and service. Their crust is perfect for my tastes and they are not stingy with the toppings. My favorite is the Gibbon. The meatballs with fries raviolis and the lasagna are also family favorites. They have a good lunch specials on weekdays.
