Fun spot with live music and a dance floor. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Service was quick and friendly. They had a $6 cover charge for the live music. Enjoy Louisville!

Great place to enjoy some amazing blues music. I went on a Friday night and there was a $6 cover but it was well worth it, the band played for several hours. The bartender was very friendly and lots of great vibes from all the people there.

My first time there. The live music was real nice. The waitress and the lady at the door were real friendly. I would've stayed for the second band but it was too long of a wait for someone who's not really a bar person.

The bar and atmosphere was great. They have local bands playing on some nights, which I do enjoy. The selection of spirits is good and the pricing is typical of many bars in the area. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Cold beer, great mixed drinks. Always great music with lots of room to dance. Outside smoking area that is clean and pretty. Great view out front to sit and people watch!

The owners are outstanding. They were doing everything from waiting, to bartending, to cleaning, and even emergency medical. I had a conversation with one and you could tell that he truly cared about the people and not the money. Wonderful experience. Oh yea, the music and dancing was exceptional as well!

Live music is a treat especially when local artists pour their soul into their craft. The wait staff is EXCEPTIONAL: thank you you Becca and team! The vibe and energy at Stevie Ray's is chill and "Easy like a Sunday Morning."

Great place for live music. Seating is a little tight and after 9:00 everything gets pushed up against the wall and I'm surprised it's not a fire hazard. Otherwise great place

Friends and I were invited to Stevie Ray’s tonight and our experience was absolutely awesome. Everyone from the sound guy, who insisted to let us on stage to take pictures, down to the talented bartender who made a killer cocktail, was absolutely a pleasure to be around. The music was superior, the guest were all friendly, the building was clean and stylish - I mean this place is really cool. I had an incredible time with the live music. We spent the whole night dancing, super recommended, a good atmosphere and interior decoration, the musicians sang HPBD to my colleague... everything was very good, come enjoy!

I don’t know if I had greater expectations than I should have, or if I was just really let down. I moved to Louisville and was told this was THE spot for local blues. I went Saturday night looking to see King Bee and The Stingers, a band I saw prior and was very impressed by. The 7$ cover was cheap, so no big deal there. The crowd was mixed, but not in a good way. You had plenty people that were clearly there for the music, but you also had loud, drunk, and pushing each other around obnoxious frat crowd ruining it. I sat down and ordered a margarita, just had a cigar and wanted something citrus. What came out was really bad. Clearly using a mixer/canned stuff to make, it was overly sweat with sugar and no like citrus taste. There was also WAY too much mixer, and you couldn’t taste the tequila. They had all the ingredients to make a margarita from scratch, I don’t know why they wouldn’t. No beer on tap. Ordered a pour of Bookers, but was I was also most too sick from the margarita to finish it. Between the loud younger crowd and the bad drink, I left before the band I came to see started. The music is great. They need to improve the atmosphere and cocktails to match. Can’t see coming back.

Love this bar! The open jams during the week never disappoint. You never know who might show up to sit in with the house band. Great bartenders and servers. Nice atmosphere. If you're downtown, be sure to stop in! Live music six nights a week.

Went on a Friday night. The bar and seating were packed due to live music as to be expected. It took a bit to wrangle a server after scoring a table, but that was too be expected given the crowd. Server was quick, friendly and attentive. Bar was clean and lively. Overall great visit. Bathrooms could've used some attention but not horrific.

Decent place. There was a cover, the band was decent and the beer prices were reasonable. Outdoor patio was a nice place to hang out.

I don't get out to this place much but when I do, I never want to leave. The band was outstanding. The atmosphere was on point. I danced until my feet fell off. The staff do a great job of keeping your drinks fresh and filled. I would recommend this place over any other place in the ville... Can't wait to go back

Went to see Lori Jane and the 45's,they were SO fantastic. such fun music and,what a voice! Great spot too,friendly environment and excellent wait staff. Also the female saxophone player was amazing and such a joy to watch.

We enjoyed an evening of drinks and live music last Friday. Wonderful to be back in a live music venue. Our waitress was new and very nice. She got everything right. The $3 Evan Williams pours were a welcome treat after a dinner at Jack Fry's.
