I had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday at Drake's last night, and it was a great experience! The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was festive. For my main course, I had the sushi platter, which was made with tuna, crab, avocado, and cucumber, and topped with crispy panko bread crumbs. It was crispy, savory, and delicious. The perfect way to start my birthday celebration off. I also had the fried pickles, which were a fun and creative twist on a classic dish. The pickles were breaded with spicy breading, and had a cool dill ranch dipping sauce. They were the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and spicy. To drink, I had a glass of the house water which was smooth and refreshing. The service at #Drake's was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. The atmosphere at Drake's was festive and fun. There was a live DJ playing music, and the restaurant was decorated with balloons and streamers. It was the perfect place to celebrate my birthday! Overall, I had a wonderful experience at #Drake's,. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was festive. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Here are some additional things to note about Drake's sushi: They have a wide variety of sushi rolls to choose from, including traditional Japanese rolls and more creative fusion rolls. They also have a full menu of other dishes, including burgers, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. The prices are reasonable, especially for the quality of food you get. The restaurant is located in a central location, making it easy to get to. They have a full bar, so you can enjoy drinks with your meal. I hope this helps!

The best burgers in the area! They have a great selection of beer and whisky. If you do not like burgers, they also have sushi. If you like sweet potatoes fries then be sure to order some. They are absolutely delicious. They also have TVs everywhere so that you can watch your favorite sports while eating your lunch or dinner. I come to this place 3 to 5 times a month. You will not be disappointed. 🍔 🍺👍

Good solid quality food, if slightly on the expensive side for Louisville. Restaurant was jam packed when we went but there was football to be watched, so it was understandable. Staff were super nice, service turnaround was very quick. We had ordered a patty melt, an appetizer, a sushi roll, and two beers for around 60 after tipping.

So tonight thought we would give it a try again. Hostess was rude. My wife wanted to get warm after standing in the cold waiting. And we were told we could not wait inside. There was a heated patio around the corner. The patio had broken heaters and exposed wires... Then as we ate people came in and waited inside... (see pictures) Super loud! A little dirty too. They called my dinner fish tacos. They got it half right. It was fish. They should at least change the name to fish fajitas. It came with grilled peppers and onions and I definitely had to build them myself. I was also NOT expecting the fish to be fried especially when they serve sushi too. I guess I should have read the description.

Food and service were good. Only issue was seating. Sat down on 1st side and no one came around so we went to other side.

Very nice place. We were there on a Saturday with a lot of college football on the televisions. Great atmosphere. We had the siratcha wings and the mini bratwurst. Wings were flavored well and served hot. The mini brats were on pretzel buns with sauerkraut and cheese. ( my two cents, leave the cheese off). They had good flavor and the fries were seasoned well. Drake’s is a great stop

Our server was Athena. She was very sweet and attentive, awesome makeup!! We ordered the filet with fried chicken and fries, along with the baked lava roll. Both meals were delicious and around 20$ each, not bad for how yummy they were. The baked lava roll had a lot of the crab on top, it was very filling. Thanks so much Drakes we will be back for more!! 💛🧡🎃

I have tried three dishes here and they were fine. The atmosphere is great when the weather allows them to open the doors. Service are great when they have enough people, as it has been tough hiring. Servers were always friendly.

Drakes. Started from the bottom now we’re here… Where is here? Great place for beers on the patio with friends, and I’m limiting my next outing to Drakes to just that…and beers only, with maybe a splurge on an app. Why? Prices v serving size. I work to hard to pay $14 for a small basket of Tater Tot whatevers, and $12 for a small basket of pretzel bread. One of the drinks ordered was a specialty drink…literally gone in around 20 pulls on the straw. It was all ice. $9.00, mostly ice. The waitress informed us “yes, unless you ask for ‘light ice’ that is how the drinks come.” 🤷🏽‍♂️ Overall, we were please with the flavor and size of salads we ordered, and the price seemed competitive with similar establishments. People seem to love it though, so take this review with a grain of Himalayan Salt. It’s odd, maybe a little different looking, and hopefully opening some eyes to the fact there are other better alternatives out there than this usual predictable Morton Salt.

Food portions are huge...Very flavorful items. The Spicy Crawfish Roll was delicious. The Sriracha Wings had a punch of flavor but I wish they were cooked a few more minutes. The fish and chips came with 5-6 big pieces. The morning glory smash burger was pretty tasty. The blt salads were loaded with bacon. The Groovy Guava drink was the star of the show. We spent $110 with tip for 2 drinks, 2 apps and 2 entrees. The only reason the overall review wasnt a 5 is because of the server. She was nice but not very attentive. We had to ask other servers to help because the intervals in which she appeared were too long. We almost left in the beginning because it took so long to be acknowledged. We really need to make sure servers are well trained as they should be in any job.

Food was not too bad. The appetizers were huge. Got two orders of fried pickles and the blt tots and were shocked by how much we got. We had a group of 8 and didn't finish them all. The BBQ boneless wings sauce were not good and the cheese on the beer cheese and bacon burger tasted off. The chicken tacos and the rest of the food was great. Service was amazing. I would go back but try some other stuff off the menu though.

Great stop on a drive through town. Super busy on a pre-holiday weekend but smartly staffed so seating, service and food delivery were all right on time. Good ambiance and a friendly staff. We were surprised by sushi on the menu but more so surprised at the quality and preparation! Thanks for a great road trip lunch.

Some of THE BEST food I have ever had. Amazing experience, definitely coming back, I need a nap after eating such good food haha! Staff were amazing, super kind. We got rainbow rolls, a salad, and burgers with fries and tots. Woulda taken a picture but they were devoured before I had a chance.

Great location and restaurant. The environment was fun and the food was delicious. The steak and tenders were very tender-no knife needed. Hubby got a birthday cookie a la mode! Bartender did fantastic making Angel Envy Mule! Will return!

This is the second Drakes visited this week. (See my other email for the one in Lexington / Nicholasville) This one is very similar in style and size as that one. Decent room and seating. Had a small 15 minute wait so not bad. Hostesses were ok. Waitress Ashley was friendly and attentive. Beer wasn't cold only cool. Ordered fried fish - very average. Greasy and not crunchy with a "old" oil flavor. Ate one piece and that was about it. Tater tots were good but like any other tater tots. Wife got a mushroom Swiss burger. It was good and flavorful. Fries were good. After two different locations I find Drakes to be pretty average and nothing partially special.

Pros: Fries Pickles were plentiful and tasty. Service was excellent! Juicy Lucy sliders were good. Cons: After 2 visits to Drakes and 1 to Malones (same parent company) I can confidently say stay away from any Asian inspired dishes. The rice on the California roll tasted old and the texture was off putting. On the Asian Chicken bowl, the rice was better but the chicken was so dry it wasn't edible. It felt like it was leftover from yesterday.

We go to drakes routinely and have never had anything but a great experience. However, tonight we went to drakes and we ordered wings and a sushi roll. We never received the sushi roll and we were repeatedly told that it is on its way. Once we realized we were not going to receive it we asked the bartender for our check, it seemed that they did not even care that we did not get our food. I understand the place was busy tonight but a little professionalism would have been appreciated.

Pretty good place! Great for groups and watching sports! I wish there was a little more choice to the menu for chicken options, but I did fall in love with the blt tots and highly recommend them! Definitely come prepared with Tums or another antacid if you're going to be dining at Drake's.

We had a wonderful time here. They accommodated our large party very easily and our server was fantastic. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and there was a really fun atmosphere inside watching the football games.
