I
had
some
small
disappointments
with
this
place,
especially
with
it
being
one
of
the
most
well
known
steakhouses
in
Louisville.
Ambience
is
great.
Decor
is
great.
It
feels
like
you’ve
traveled
back
in
time
in
certain
areas
and
really
feels
like
a
steakhouse.
Server
was
fantastic.
We
actually
had
two
of
them
due
to
them
being
very
packed,
but
they
were
both
amazing.
Incredibly
friendly,
explained
everything
well,
and
helped
us
with
everything
we
needed
help
with,
along
with
clearing
off
used
plates
and
dishes
pretty
quickly.
Wife
had
the
ceased
salad
to
begin.
She
wasn’t
a
fan,
said
the
dressing
was
too
strong,
however
I
thought
it
was
great.
House
made
croutons
and
a
good
amount
of
dressing.
I
also
got
the
spicy
tuna
roll.
It
was
just
okay.
Not
much
you
can
do
to
improve
a
tuna
roll
though.
There
are
plenty
of
appetizers
to
choose
from
so
plenty
of
reasons
to
come
back
and
try
new
things.
A
table
right
next
to
us
got
some
sort
of
seafood
platter
that
had
oysters,
king
crab,
and
shrimp.
The
shrimp
are
a
ridiculous
size,
they’re
like
the
length
of
your
hand.
When
you
walk
in
you
can
see
the
seafood
on
ice
to
see
what
they
have
that
day.
We
split
the
14
ounce
New
York
Strip
and
very
thankful
we
did.
Even
cut
in
half
it
was
more
than
a
normal
size
steak
we
get
from
other
places.
Definitely
appeared
to
be
over
14
ounces.
It
came
out
already
cut
in
half
and
plated
for
us.
Steak
was
cooked
perfectly
and
we
both
had
more
than
enough
to
eat.
I
would
ask
for
easy
seasoning
the
next
time
we
go.
Seasoning
was
good,
but
they
put
wayyyy
too
much
on
and
at
some
parts
it
overpowered
the
steak
and
was
incredibly
salty.
We
got
the
mashed
potatoes
and
sautéed
mushrooms
for
sides,
which
are
served
family
style.
Mashed
potatoes
were
good,
and
a
good
addition
to
the
steak.
Mushrooms
neither
of
us
cared
for.
They
were
a
bit
too
wet
for
us
and
didn’t
seem
sautéed.
The
flavor
of
them
wasn’t
great
either.
I
would
pass
on
those
next
time,
but
they
have
plenty
of
other
sides
to
choose
from.
They
have
fresh
sourdough
bread
that
we
both
could
have
eaten
10
loaves
of.
It
came
with
fresh
butter,
regular
butter
and
also
mushroom-truffle
butter.
Normally
I’m
not
a
truffle
fan
because
it’s
so
strong,
but
this
didn’t
have
much
in
it
and
was
perfectly
seasoned
and
a
great
accompaniment
for
the
warm
bread.
Due
to
it
being
our
anniversary
they
brought
out
a
little
dessert
sampler
with
what
I’m
guessing
was
a
cheesecake
bite,
brownie
bite,
and
a
carrot
cake
bite.
We
also
got
a
crème
brûlée
and
the
Woodford
chocolate
cake.
Creme
brûlée
was
great.
Had
a
great
char
flavor
on
some
of
the
sugar
topping
which
went
great
with
the
custard.
Woodford
cake
is
just
an
insane
size
and
very
good.
Actually
moist
and
has
a
great
flavor
with
some
kind
of
bourbon
caramel
drizzle
over
it.
Ambience,
service,
dessert,
and
bread
were
absolutely
fantastic.
Will
definitely
come
back.
Know
now
to
ask
for
light
seasoning
on
the
steak,
which
would
have
made
it
perfect
for
me,
and
to
avoid
the
mushroom
side.
