Dundee's is a good tavern. Great decor, with iconic pictures of Muhammad Ali, plenty of screens to watch sports and friendly and helpful staff members. Though a lifelong Louisville resident this was my first time at Dundee's. The hot brown wrap was a little greasy and was barely lukewarm. There are plenty of outdoor tables to sit at. I would recommend this tavern.

This was a really delicious place to grab lunch.. We got two different orders, and both were good. One was the Pulled Pork sandwich with potato salad. The other was Fried chicken ( so juicy) w/ fries. The cocktails were fun and summer- refreshing. Might be our new place to eat at!

Southern pecan chicken salad is really good. The soft pretzels with cheese was terrific. Fish tacos are a more subtle flavor the I wish was a bit less garlic and more heat (but that's personal preference. Danielle was a great server. The rum bucket is good and a deal. Nice outside open air eating area.

There is nowhere to park except street parking, which is metered. Went for lunch. It's not a fast place to eat. Several items on the menu looked good. Had the 6 ounce sirloin. Said it was seasoned but had no flavor. They were out of 2 menu items that I know of when there. Definitely sports bar.

Very friendly service! One of the Best Hot Browns I've had! The Dundee Dip is amazing! I will be back!

We had such an unexpected amazing time at the Dundee Tavern. The service was amazing and extremely catering to our 2 year old daughter. The separate dining spaces around the restaurant added different elements of privacy and gave the floor for our toddler to let loose and dance. The decor, although felt a bit dated, was nice and southern. The food was impeccable to which I have very high standards. The Impossible burger was amazing and the sides offered were delicious as well. We had a wonderful time and we'll be back, very soon.

We went on a Monday evening and they have trivia that night that was fun to play. We actually didn't play because we didn't want to show our skills so we just enjoyed the wonderful service and food.

First time here. First stop for BURGER WEEK of Louisville. Their BURGER was the....forgot the name. 😠 Anyways, sounded good. Minus the mayo. However, I was disappointed when the small smashburger didn't hit the spot, although the green beans were Excellent. 😔 6 out of 10 for me. Well 7 for the sides. 😏

Food was not very good at all. I would call it edible at best. Servers seemed lost and often forgot drinks. Atmosphere was nice despite special menu items for Detroit Lions fans and not having any available parking. Probably won't be back unless a band I like is playing.

This might be the best neighborhood sports bar in Louisville. Super friendly and fun staff, decent eats and a respectable beer selection.

Fun bar place good bar food. Service was a little slow and the only thing I didnt like was the fries. But best onion rings I've had solid sandwich and good menu seemed friendly on a cold day with stews. But also good bar food like I said!

A great place to have lunch and dinner! Food is great! Staff ready to accommodate you in every way. Owners on top of any guest needs. Friendly neighborhood place to have a big gathering.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere went to meet family who know I'm a Buffalo Bills fan came in from out of town for the holiday. Wish I could go watch the game there every week incredible energy. Our server was not that attentive but would not stop me from returning.

My salad was huge and well made. The entire staff was super friendly and attentive to every customer even while live music was being played on the patio. The only thing that would make it a better place to spend a relaxing evening would be a dedicated parking lot.

A friend of mine played here today. The servers are a delight. I enjoyed Daniel! She was fast and alert. I believe they may have live music here as well. Their beer on tap has variety.

It's generally a sports bar atmosphere. The wait staff were very friendly, and the Mac n cheese burger was delicious without feeling gut-bustingly heavy. Definitely try the sweet potato fries with the cinnamon dipping sauce!

We had a Gathering here after a a great loss in our family. The good people at Dundee Tavern were more than accommodating. It was a much needed, appreciated, and uplifting experience. The staff was courteous and efficient. And considering the size of our group the food came out quickly and relatively at the same time. An amenity that goes underrated and unappreciated these days amongst people was that the smoking area was a large covered patio. Due to their being a vast amount of people in our group that smokes and Vapes combined with the fact that there were scattered showers that day the covered patio was indeed a big plus. So in short I would say I would most definitely recommend this place to friends and family for any situation. Whether it be a first date get together with a couple friends or a gathering of a group of 20 or more be it for business or just a good time, this is the place to be. One more thing to be noted is that Dundee Tavern actually shares the same namesake as the road that it is located on so if you have friends that are not that great with directions that is definitely a plus. Another plus if you're a sports fan is that there were several TVs with different sporting events in conveniently Placed locations the day we were there at Grand Prix race a soccer game and a ESPN channel were playing. However the one thing I did find to be a negative about the establishment was the parking situation. We circled the Tavern wants to see if maybe we were just missing the parking but couldn't really find anything convenient and ended up settling for the parking lot across the street at the CVS. If you do try this maneuver please note that there are some spots without signs and some with the ones with sign say for CVS parking only and violators will be towed at the owner's expense. Obviously not the situation you want to walk out into after enjoying a good meal with friends.

We went there to listen to a band but got there a little early to eat first. The waitress was very nice, but after she put our order in we didn’t get our food for at least 25-30 minutes. Maybe more. It wasn’t busy at all and it seemed like there wasn’t any kitchen staff to cook the food. It was only after we got ours that they were putting food up like nobody’s business. I ordered a regular burger that was supposed to be like a smash burger. What I received was a double cheeseburger. They don’t even have that on the menu as far as I could see. At that point I was so hungry I ate it anyway. It was a decent burger, but it wasn’t smashed nor was it a single. The crinkle fries weren’t salted so they came out bland. The menu selection looks good, but I’m probably not going to try them again after all that.

Service is excellent and it is a very fun place. I just had the brisket sandwich and it was horrible at best. I should have sent it back when the server suggested that if anything was wrong with the sandwich to let her know. If that was representative of the typical brisket they should stop serving it. If it is not, shame on the kitchen staff for serving it. Last week the cook just completely forgot to make my steak salad because two were ordered simultaneously.

St Patty's day. Busy busy busy! Atmosphere was pretty great. Service was lacking, and 20 minutes AFTER they took our food order, they told us mgmt closed down the kitchen. No comp, and NO APOLOGY! Maybe I'll give it another chance, but probably not anytime in the near future

First we ate and our food was really good. Then they had a band playing, Denham Country, and they were excellent. It made for a great night!

The sweet potato fries were great paired w/ the sweet dipping sauce. My patty melt was good but I've had better. I would go back to try something different. Nachos looked amazing and the drink prices are very good.

Great food for it's price. Has the feel as of a old neighborhood bar. There is live music on the weekends and trivia during the week. They have a good amount of beers on draft.

Tonight was the first time we had been to Dundee, and had a blast. AMAZING food and great environment. Staff was friendly, and always running to help the guests. Music playing, and everyone having a great time! Will be back for sure!!

Went it today for lunch. This is third time I've been there. Not many people there staff clearly doesn't want you there and I wish I hadn't been. Mac and cheese tasted horrible almost like canned cheese chicken club was chicken brest in wrap with one piece of bacon and tomato. Will definitely not go back and warn others a real waste of money

Hate giving average reviews but truth is truth. Loved the vibe, the location, a really cool place, but service & food was marginal. It was a busy Friday June 2nd, I ordered the ribs, and was very over cooked (tough), and was drowned in sauce to cover it up. Our server after taking our order and dropping it off was non existent 🙄 appreciate the hospitality towards our motorcycle group, but felt like since we were "out of towners" attention was not priority.

Seat yourself, easy to find a great spot, tvs are everywhere. Service was prompt and regularly maintained. Beer selection is very good with some local rotating craft brews. Volume level just right to have a good conversation and enjoy the atmosphere.

Carl stuck was playing that is why we went he's awesome but it was really noisy in there. We had dinner and it was really good their Dundee Dip was so good. And I dipped his fries from his hamburger he had in the dip it was so good I had grilled fish tacos which were good also.

Great little place to grab some food and drinks. The menu has a lot of great options and it's not your typical bar food. The Reuben was delicious!

Never been more disappointed in my life. Took ages to get food, people were getting theirs when I was before them and the food was just absolutely overcooked and unappetizing and just nasty in general. Our server never even bothered to check up on us. Never coming back. Wasted money for real. In fact I seen another family show disappointment in the service as well when I was eating there.

The staff was super nice ; however you can’t be a beer tavern with only those beers on tap. Guys let’s get for real the Mac and cheese is made with powdered cheese . The nachos have more chips then you will ever have toppings; $14 for those nachos maybe $4 . Iam so tired of spending $100 out eating with my kids and you can’t get good food. Bring your chef to my house and I will show you guys how to make and season some real food. Guys pretzel and beer cheese for $10 is great price but 3 pretzels, what family you feeding? Restaurants are like the government the price keeps going up but everything you get from them just keeps getting worse.
