Came in for lunch and got a brisket sandwich with truffle fries. Brisket was on point, nice and tender with good flavor. Truffle fries are hard to mess up so no fault there. They have a daily special of a shot and a beer for 6 bucks. Can't beat that deal where I am from. Would definitely come back to try the rest of their beers on tap.

Awesome spot to grab some food and beer! It's a BBQ-focused menu with a few other options as well. I got the pulled chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts and both were delicious. The sides are large enough for two people to share. Beer selection is good as well, and I really enjoyed the IPA I had. The large outdoor tables are great for families looking to spread out a bit. Service was friendly and our food came out quickly. There's a decent amount of metered street parking and a few large lots that may or may not be free depending if there's a baseball game going on during your visit.

I went with a couple of friends and though they were slightly understaffed (Isn't everybody?) we all had a great time. I got the Mac n' Beer Cheese and a couple of drinks and everything tasted great! We will be back.

We stopped by and sat outside with our dog after walking around the riverfront. We had the pork bbq nachos and the Bavarian pretzel with a couple of ice cold draft beers. The food was EXCELLENT, as were the beers and the service. Zack waited on us and was wonderful. He gave great food recommendations, was very attentive, as well as brought out some water and ice cubes for our dog. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Amazing food, service, and beers. What more can you ask for? There would be a picture of the nachos as well, but they were smothered in beer cheese and we couldn't wait.

I stopped in for a quick tasting and my service was EXCELLENT! My server was Dina, she greeted me quickly at the door and really did an amazing job severing me and giving me the full Against The Grain experience. I got to try a couple of great beers and even the Cole Slaw. The BBQ fries were my favorite which was also recommended by Dina. I will definitely be back and will ask for her and her working service. This is a great Downtown must have ! (:

Outdoor seating is covered which was super nice, regardless of the temp. Get a refreshing drink! Chips were a bit stale but overall the bourbon experience was awesome. Really enjoyed it!

Great beer selections, plenty of bourbon choices, and the service was fantastic! We had drinks and nachos while waiting for the doors to open at Slugger Field. Our waitress was attentive but not hovering.

I liked the atmosphere and vibe along with a few tasty beers that I tried, my favorite was the Coldfinger IPA. We also tried the chili, the pork belly appetizers served w/ molasses, and the grilled romaine lettuce. All were delicious!

Loved our visit here! Atmosphere and background music was great and the staff was super friendly and our order came out really quickly. Their beers are all brewed in house and my husband enjoyed the one he tried! Ordered a couple appetizers and the pulled pork sandwich (all delicious!) Will definitely be back!

12 of us we’re roaming Whiskey Row. I made a reservation in between tastings. Food was great and they are located across from Angels Envy. High recommend

The best beer I had in the area was here. The burgers here are incredible, especially "el-guapo"! The pretzel is very good also. Highly recommend stopping by here

Stopped in while we waited for our tasting time at Angels Envy, it is right across the street and had a lot of craft brew options. Great atmosphere and great service.

Enjoyed a nice stop at this great local brewery. Had a pretzel and wings both delish. Also got a flight of their beers as well and ended up with a 4 pack of the A Beer and Sol Mate. Def. recommend stopping by for a pint.

Awesome vegan options!! I loved the Beyond Meat bratwurst on pretzel bunch with Brussels on the side. The French 95 is an amazing cocktail that you can't miss!! We had an issue with the waitress and the manager came and cleared everything up. I want to once again thank him for his KY hospitality! :)

Brewpub that has some really good beer, and focuses on BBQ. Close to everything downtown and near all the bourbon places you can stand. Great atmosphere and wonderful service. Devin the bartender was exceptional, and the level of service and attention for a brewpub was out of sight! I have been coming to Louisville for years and I can’t believe I missed this place. It is my new go to, if you are downtown and like craft beer, great cocktails, BBQ and a laid back atmosphere check this place out.

Nice place next to Slugger Field. Our experience there could have been better. The food as far as the taste was on point but unfortunately it was served cool. We had the brisket sandwich and the dry rubbed wings. We also ordered the pretzel as an appetizer that came out hot and very good. They also have a wonderful beer selection as well as other spirits there too. We will give it another shot eventually.

Went there as a big group. 20 plus. We had a kids table and adult table. The service was ok.. but you can tell she tried extremely hard. We ordered a variety of food plus the experience dish. See picture. The food was extremely tasty except for the chicken. The Mac and Cheese was a big hit with bread crumbs on the top and everything! The BBQ pulled Nachos was different with bbq chips, but tasty... Would definitely go back!

Kylie is a phenomenal server. The service was top notch that of a very experienced server and even more a beer aficionado. Food was terrific as well.

This place was awesome!!! Best pretzel I have EVER had. Crunchy and buttery on the outside, soft and warm on the inside with just the right amount of salt. And the thing is as big as your head! I had the spare ribs and it was cooked to perfection with just the right amount of sauce - a semi-spicy mustard-based barbecue sauce. The home made chips were equally good as were the kosher dills and pickled onions that came on the side. The service was great and the big TV's make for a nice atmosphere. Several craft beers available for those that drink (we don't). For those that are in a big group, there is a sampler platter for 4-5 people that I would have loved to try, but they don't have a half-sized sampler for 2.... The only "but" was that the brisket sandwich was only "ok". The brisket had a decent bark on it and it was soft not chewy, but it was pretty tasteless and had a lot of fat. The barbecue sauce that was served with it was MUCH more spicy and I would have preferred the sauce that was on the spare ribs. The baked beans were just average. I'm used to a little more "taste" in my beans from barbecue joints. They had pieces of brisket in the beans, but again there was quite a bit of fat - which is NOT what I want in my beans.

PORK BELLY ON A STICK! So good also the chocolate stout… perfection. Chefs kiss it’s always good here.

Beer is good. Food is good. John’s playlist was perfect. Alex behind the bar was great. Pricey- My burger was $17 with no side. And there’s a very discreet 3% fee on top of the tax labeled “menu surcharge”.

Nice craft brew selection. The hot dog was ok. There was too much slaw on it made for a soggy bun.

Great spot for some BBQ and good beer. Good variety of beers and some that I really liked. The smokehouse was great too. Friendly service and there was plenty of TVs if there is a game you want to watch. Would definitely go back.

I have been here twice, about 5 years apart. Both times were DELICIOUS!! We got the side platter and 2 meats. The brisket is the best I've ever had, for sure. Nothing we've tried was "meh". Beers are very good too!!

I stopped in on the hottest day of the year and Genna and Bella welcomed me with huge smiles. Whilst inside enjoying I went to the loo, and was entertained by the most diverse and hilarious graffiti I’ve seen in Louisville. 10/10 Recommend for ambiance

Great beer and service. Didn't have the BBQ because we just weren't hungry enough but it smelled great. The pretzel is awesome!

A unique space with high warehouse ceilings, original art, large bar, and lots of outdoor seating. Surprisingly affordable? Our bill was about half what I would’ve expected it to be. The BBQ fries are delicious. Portions sizes are great- they don’t over serve here. It’s just enough food and plates are buildable. Uniquely customized to your hunger level. Also highly recommend the potato salad. It’s fluffy and soft with a good vinegar/mustard bite to it. Server was attentive and very friendly.

Fun microbrewery with good appetizers to share. Excellent staff. Wide variety of beers and flights (either 4 or 6) so you can try multiple!
