Flanagan's has a dog menu. Jasper The Adventure Dog, loved his Chicken and Vegetables meal. Our service was great and our food was great also.

Wings were delicious and a great happy hour! I asked to have my wings well done and they were cooked perfectly. Only thing is I asked for naked wings instead of breaded and to be tossed in bbq sauce and they gave me naked wings that are half naked and bbq lol. But they were still good. It’s a nice place with plenty of food options, drinks, and to vibe at!

Although this is just a neighborhood Tavern this place has some killer bar food. This is one of the best beer battered fish I have eaten. The fish was thick and crisp but not greasy. The batter was not overwhelming. The onion rings were battered and crispy. The coleslaw was creamy and crunchy with the perfect balance of dressing. It was fresh. I saw a video on Goodall’s Country Kitchen. He does a great service to the community if you can get passed the worst table manners I have ever seen. His manners can be distracting, and he is not really a foodie, but it is helpful to the community as a whole. I would highly recommend Flanagan Tavern and the promotions from Goodall’s( just close your eyes when he is eating) 😏

This place was great! We were able to take our dogs inside. The food was amazing! Our waiter was great. Everything top notch. Kids had chicken strips, sweet potato fries, broccoli, and fish nuggets with tots. Great portion size for them and taste was great. We had the beer cheese Philly and the chicken cordon bleu with onion rings. All very good.

I must admit, I was expecting better from them. The food was tasty, but the selection was limited and the food was over priced for the portion. The atmosphere, well let's just say there was nothing Irish Pub about it. We were there at 4pm, the start of happy hour... there wasn't a customer in the building under 40. The music was worse than pop. It was the kind of music that all has the same beat no matter what. About 20 years off from the crowd seated today. Worse than that, it was loud. I have been to several pubs and I have not had a bad experience until today. Apparently the bar tender picks the music. So I sent a message asking the bar tender, Dalton, to either change the music, turn it down, or just turn it off. Well, I witnessed my waiter telling Dalton that customers were complaining about the music, and I watched Dalton throw his hands up like "so what".... and the music continued. I won't be back. We go to places for the experience. We don't mind spending more for quality. This was not a quality experience. I say, about the only positive thing about our dinner, was our waiter. He was kind and professional and we never once had to wonder where he was. Best part of the whole experience, our waiter, Will. The rest of it.... I'd pick O'Shea's, Molly Malone's, or the Irish Rover. Flanagan's, we will not be back.

It's not busy at all, maybe 6 people at the bar but took 3 bartenders 15 mins to notice me sitting here at the BAR then another 10 mins to fix a Bloody Mary. She served my food and never came back to asked if it was good or if I wanted another drink. The food and atmosphere was good though but don't come here if you want decent service.

Literally disgusting. Like 15$ for something I had to throw in the garbage. It was 2 huge pieces of fish when I picked it up it fell apart but before it could do that it was actually just dripping out an insane amount of oil. So disappointed.. was my first time eating there definitely won’t return. Just mad I spent 15$ on something I couldn’t even eat

I have not been here for 20 years. Why DID I wait so long to return. This is the best highlands pub. I happened to meet the owner since I sat in his Father & Son booth. (I dont hold it against him that he is a Shamrock grad. ) A great guy & it shows through all his staff who were friendly & helpful at first encounter. Great happy hour. I will be back to try the " specials".

We had an amazing experience. We took both our dogs here and sat outside on dog friendly patio. They provided a bowl of water and brought us a piece of grilled chicken for them. They also offer home cooked dog meals. We both got burgers and fries/onion rings. It was super delicious. The waiter brought us everything we asked for promptly. I highly recommend them.

We went here for the first time because it was super close to comedy caravan, and the menu sounded good. We got there early, and it was happy hour, so most appetizers were $5. The Buffalo chicken balls were amazing. We ate so many appetizers that I didn't even order a meal. It was great!

We visited around 2:30 on a Thursday and sat right down. This was our first time here and our waitress offered some suggestions of what to try. I got the classic burger and my wife ordered a side of tatertots. The burger was one of the best burgers I have had and our waitress kept the refills coming. Try it out and I don’t believe you will be disappointed!

One of my favorite "watering holes" in the city. Good people and great pub good. The spicy philly and chicken pot pie (seasonal) are my go-to orders every time I visit. Love the rotating drafts too.

We used The Red Room for a 65th birthday party. Every person that we dealt with (from set up to kitchen to bartenders) at Flanagan’s was professional, personable and accommodating. Blaire made every arrangement decision so easy and always responded quickly to my barrage of emails. I would definitely have another event here and would recommend them to anyone!

I went here Thursday night for trivia! I got the fish and chips, my partner got the French dip and both were amazing! I recommend the tater tots! The woman who does trivia has a great voice and asked some Greta questions! Go here on Thursday!!!!

Although I have never visited Flanagan’s, they did host someone very special to me. They treated her very kindly and made sure she got back to her air bnb safely. I really appreciate the staff and especially Tanner for watching over her! Thank you for your hospitality! She did say the chicken fried cheese balls were excellent 👍👍

10-15 years ago Flanagan's Ale House was a terrific pub. The beers were fresh and new, the food was high quality, and the service was efficient and personable. I have been a dedicated weekly costumer in the that time and it has been sad to see this place downward spiral. I think the only thing going for this place anymore is the nice patio. *The beer list is uninspired, which is putting it mildly. And I don't think the tap lines have been cleaned since Obama was in office. *The service is inconsistent and too frequently bad. *The food quality and variety have taken severe hits in the past year. I dare say I can find better food in a middle school cafeteria. I would like to see this place at least make an attempt to return to its former glory, but I'm not holding my breath. Nor do I plan on returning in the near future.

Let me just start by saying that if you want a traditional Irish pub feel, you'd get a better experience from Mc Donald's. The music here stinks. The music selection caters to a 16 yr old hip hop scene. When we asked politely to the bartender to change the music, the shrugged his shoulders and refused to change it. Please keep in mind this was 4:30pm. Not exactly the club crowd so to speak. Tables and floors were also filthy. Amount of food for the price was poor. The only good thing about the experience was the waiter (Will) who was very professional and did what he could to make our time enjoyable. Would have spent a lot of time and money here tonight, but after how we were treated, no way. Won't be back and will tell as many people as I can about the negative experience. Should have gone to a quality Irish pub like Molly Malones or O'Sheas.

I don’t know what this is, but it is not a pretzel and I’m pretty upset they even thought they could pass this as one. I literally paid 25$ for a burger and some bread with beer cheese.

Must try the chicken pot pies!!! Omg, so freaking delicious. We are always looking for pet friendly places and this one hits the spot. Not only are they pet friendly but they also have a pet menu. The owners are some of the most friendly same hospitable people we've ever met. Love this place

Rented the back room for a birthday party. Plenty of space for the sit down meal I prepared at home and brought in, a lot of room for dancing, a dj and all equipment, great bar service with a friendly and engaging bartender, clean restrooms and an outside area to smoke with tables and chairs that is fenced in. Definitely would recommend for a great adult party!

Neat place. The beer was reasonably priced compared to most other places I've been. $6 for a 16 oz draft of a DIPA. Can't beat that price with a 12 foot stick.

We rented their back room and patio area for a happy hour during our wedding weekend. Everything went great! Blaire was a pleasure to work with for coordinating the event and Paul was an awesome bartender. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to rent a space, the process was very easy.

Food was wonderful and just what we were looking for! Service was quick, took great care of us, along with a fun populated atmosphere! Cool place for food, drinks or just to pop in on the patio with live music to boot! Owners are pretty cool too! Highly recommend for a great night out! 😎🙌

Amazing bar with a big venue that can hold large crowds. The food serving felt a bit small compared to the price of meal. Drinks were amazing though. The servers were professional and were constantly checking up on the table and even assisted me in paying my check early when we had a large crowd.

They have a great happy hour! Very friendly bartender who didn’t skimp on the rum in the rum & diet I ordered, even though it was happy hour! My friend and I shared 2 appetizers—the buffalo chicken bites and the soft pretzels and we both really liked them, too! We’ll be back!

If you come to Louisville you HAVE TO EAT HERE!! We adore this place and eat here whether it’s dine in or take out. They even have a kids menu. Food is fantastic never been disappointed. Atmosphere is very casual and everything you would expect from an ale house. 10/10 I would give 100 stars if I could.

Huge beer and ale selection local and imported. They have human food and dog food on the menu that I thought was funny. Large patio in the back with jenga and connect four.
