Really cool pizza joint + bar in downtown Louisville. Great pizza options (including gluten-free crust). Prompt service, courteous staff and overall great value for money. We stopped by for a quick lunch and loved everything we tried.

Great local pizza place in a historic building. We head the Mama Bearno's pizza. A thin crisp crust with a light coating of a good sauce and PILED with great toppings and a healthy topping of cheese. The ratio of toppings to crust seems to be like 4 to 1. Lots of good local sports memorabilia on the wall to highlight some greats from the University of Louisville and local athletes that made it "to the show". The service was prompt and friendly. Too bad we are only travelling through, because this would become a regular for our family!! (Original review from June 2021). *Updated review 6/30/23: Visiting Louisville again. This place is still as great as I remembered. I highly recommend this place for a local flavor of pizza.

Great place to eat home made pizza, we made our own and for two people the Medium size is more than enough because it has a lot of delicious toppings. Try the meatballs as a appetizers too they are awesome, definitely a MUST SEEN place in the city 😉

We ordered delivery to a local hotel and they won us over with a quick arrival time, hot food and lots of paper plates, napkins and utensils -- this was greatly appreciated as being in a hotel, we did not have these things on hand. Another bonus was that the food arrived in pizza boxes which worked out great for makeshift serving trays. Portion sizes were good -- penne pasta could easily feed two people and the chicken strips were huge (and very tender). Overall good food!!

The pizza crust was tasteless a new born baby can make better crust with dollar tree flour. The cheese was plastic and flavorless. They tried covering the fact of not using enough cheese or toppings by using this cheap chewy sausage base. The lack of tomato sauce and the fact it also tastes it come from a expired canned. Literally don’t come here unless you trying to feed alot of people for cheap. The garlic bread sticks were decent better than the pizza for sure. I would give 0.25 of 5 stars if I could.

Ordered carryout... great food and good prices. My lasagna was tasty and a good portion. The cheesy garlic bread was very good! I would definitely go back. The atmosphere was cozy and vibrant. The pizza I saw while picking up my order looked amazing. I think I will dine in next time.

Best pizza In town I’ve been told. Sure enough, I agree! Thin crust, no skimping on toppings, great service. They had a terrific gluten free. Right across from the Yum Center, Bearno’s by the Bridge rocks!

This was pretty good. The options were tasty, but in comparison with similar pizza joints, not among the best. Good beer selections. If you're downtown looking for pizza, not a bad choice.

Food was fantastic! This place has an extensive menu that will please anyone. Their lunch specials are good as well, but I highly recommend the barbecue chicken lunch special pizza.

This place is really good and I’ve received great service. Yesterday, while it was snowing some, I was feeling a little lazy, so I decided to order from DoorDash. It took a little longer than expected but no complaints; it was snowing. But when I received my food. It wasn’t placed in bag or anything, it (the food) looked tampered with. I got paranoid and didn’t eat it. Please put a tampered resistance sticker or something on the food! Still a continued customer; I rather pick it up myself.

Great pizza but very pricey. $14.00 + for a small pizza and up. Is it worth the $$ - I would say worth $10-12 range. Overall though some of best pizza in area. Service is great and fast.

Hands down, after moving to Buffalo, this has to be my all time favorite pizza place back home. Louisville, KY pizza at its best! Update 12/4/22 Once again find myself coming down from buffalo and find my self at this great place.

I've been ordering the family special two midum pizzas . . . One cheese , the other is a momma. However I ask for it to be changed to a veggie. The price is decent and the quality is great. Tied fo the best pizzas in town with another place I won't mention here. I gave 4 stars because the cheese pizza has been hit or miss the out of the 6 orders I've made over the last two months. But the veggie is always perfect . . . Please make sure the cheese is consistent and I'll up this review to 5 stars!!! The staff is nice, there is usually a moderate crowd. . . And hello to the couple always sitting at the counter when I make my pickups

Great pizzas and amazing salads. They are huge at a point that can be finished. Very good prices for what you get. Nice decoration with lots of signed pictures and memorabilia.

Always a stop for me when in Louisville for work. The pizza is great and they have a gluten free option which makes my day as I have to be gluten free. The atmosphere is relaxing with an old world pub style feel and the service has always been prompt and friendly.

Best pizza I have ever had. I am not a pizza guy. However, if I was this is it. Right across from KFC Yum Center. Convenient for your stay on Whiskey Row. Staff is super friendly and attentive. Give them a big tip. They deserve every dollar. I definitely recommend it, and I would return when back in town. Sorry! Forgot to take pictures.

Are here twice in two days during a corporate training event. Honestly, the best bar pizza restaurant I have been to in years. Staff is polite, they will engage with you in not a way just to get more tips but just to pass time. Pizza... yes... look at my reviews and how critical I am of pizza. Yes! Will return if in town.

This place was a good find in Louisville. The pizza was delicious, the drinks were stout, and the atmosphere was chill. Service was fantastic! It's definitely worth the trip!

Great place for lunch or a quick dinner before going to the YUM Center. Prompt service. The Mama Bearno is particularly good. If it wasn't the best pizza I ever had in my life, it was a close second.

Best Food, Best Service, Best Atmosphere, Best all the way around. If you want the Best Pizza and Pasta in Town go to Bearno's Under the Bridge. I can't say it enough. It's worth every penny you spend there. I Love Bearno's !!! Thank you for your service to an old Veteran Sincerely, Cindy Hirt
