Didn't go in with high expectations but turned out to be decent BBQ. The brisket and turkey both were well cooked. The brown sugar bourbon sauce was too sweet for me but the mustard sauce had a good balance of sweet and tangy. They both could have used a little more heat in my opinion. The beans had a nice smoky flavor. The value for the money was better than most "celebrity" restaurants.

Unexpected outstanding experience!!! With few restaurants open for lunch on a Saturday, our options were limited and I’ll admit, with all due respect Guy, I did not necessarily want to go to a celebrity chef’s restaurant. But the smells drew us in. It’s not your traditional sit down restaurant. You order at the counter, get your food, and find a seat. There is a full bar too if you fancy that. We ordered a fat boy, pork butt, brisket, mac n cheese, coleslaw and baked beans for the 4 of us. It was more than enough food and so incredibly delicious. To top off our pleasant experience, the staff working there that day were some of the best we’ve ever met. Chef Q, Jen, and Ashley made us feel so welcomed as if we were family. The pride that they have for their craft is unmatched!! I would definitely be a regular if I wasn’t 500 miles away😆. Thank you Chef Q, Jen and Ashley for the unforgettable dining experience!!!!

Very Guy Fieri. Great food with very reasonable prices. Turkey is out of this world. Order line can feel slow, more from the volume of guests, the staff are straight hustling. Dining room is larger than you think, plenty of seats and more outside.

I want to start out by saying I love Guy and will always try his restaurants if I'm in a big enough city to try one. I just don't feel like Guy would be proud to have his name on this. There was one bar tender, one person working the meat, one working the cash register, and then one doing the dishes. They were out of pork, smoked sausage, and street corn by 5:30p. I really feel bad for the workers, with that many people in line. They did their best. The food was okay. It just wasn't great, but it was okay. The meat was dry and kinda hard. I just feel that if there was more staff or prep staff/ prepped food, it would have been better. I really wanted to write a great review. I'm sorry.

This place only in business based on the name. The ribs kinda seem boiled then smoked. If you want bbq sauce you have to pay for it, not even one is free with food. Something not right about them ribs. The sides are terrible: baked beans just some boiled pinto beans out the can with liquid smoke poured in them. Mac and cheese is boiled noodles then they pour melted cheese on top of your bowl. I wouldn’t go back

Went out for my son's birthday here. We all loved it! The food was stellar, the service was great, and the food was super lightning fast. Could have used better signage to find where to go... asked the bartender, and he wasn't super informative or nice. Food ladies were amazing, though, and made up for it 😋 FYI for newbies, just keep walking till you see signs on the wall. Order at the counter, then seat yourself with food.

What a great surprise! Wanted to get a bite before the concert and boy did we find a great one! The Fat Boy brisket sandwich was excellent and the homemade redskin potato salad was very tasty. Service was all smiles and very helpful with the menu.

The smoked meats outstanding! The potato salad helped cut the richness of meat. Beans strong smoke flavor but needed spice in my opinion. Bartender Ashley was so friendly and helpful! Other bartender said Happy Hour over at 6:40 pm but she showed him the website-4-7! Very customer oriented. Also offered us water for our meal just an absolute sweetheart!

Overall just average bbq. Not what I expected from the “Flavor town guy”. The brisket had a nice smoked flavor but lacked salt and pepper. It also was near dry. Prime briskets are usually juicier. Also I don’t think they spend much time trimming briskets. I had a thick layer of fat on mine that would never render and become succulent. Seemed lazy and sloppy to me. Not quality. The pulled pork again lacked seasoning, but had A nice Smokey flavor and bordered on the dry side. I didn’t know you could dry out a pork butt. I added some of his signature sauce and it helped. The sauce was a bit vinegary and had no trace of bourbon flavor for a sauce billed as a bourbon and brown sugar sauce. I still liked it though. The Turkey was pretty good but again bordered on the dry side. It was seasoned well and super tender. The Mac n cheese was good but many of the noodles were hard out had dry sections. Sadly in this bbq joint the sweet tea was the best thing I had. I just expected more since I have found many lesser named joints that took their bbq serious and played and a much higher level than Guys.

It is a nice experience. I was curious about their whiskey on Wednesday. It was a good deal. I ordered half pound meat that gave me free side with it. I ordered prime time brisket, and it is delicious, but the mac and cheese were beyond good as only if you add salt and pepper in it. (Trust me on this) Then I tried the whiskey flight. They have three different optional as $20, $30, and $40 as based on their whiskey. I stick to $20 because I was curious about the other whiskey that I haven't tried. I would like to come back to try their sandwich and also a few more whiskey or cocktails.

We had the Fat Boy Sandwich and Brisket combo meals. Both super good, loved it. Sat at the bar with my group of 3. I'm not a drinker and the bartender was very nice about that, didnt try to push me to drink like other places usually do to me. He was very nice, took care of my group's drinks attentively and was fun to talk to. Will definitely go back next time we visit the area👍

Stopped in here when I was in town from Cleveland. Had some good beers but the barbeque was great. The mac and cheese was delicious and the pulled pork was great! The ribs were amazing. Probably some of the best ribs I've ever had. Very tasty dry rub and the sauces available were very tasty! Would definitely recommend this place if you're in town.

Super meh food. This place stays open because of the events and "fame" of Guy. The white Alabama sauce was like runny mayonnaise with herbs. It was an Uneventful, unappealing, untasty trip to "flavortown". This joint would definitely NOT make it Guy's Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives show

The staff was great with greeting us and explaining the menu and pricing. A manager "Shawn" was very attentive assisting with seating and I thanked him many times. However the food wasn't what I expected at all. Not very satisfying, I expected more due to whom the owner is. The meats were the best part, but the sides you can do without.

If you love food, do yourself a big favor and skip this place. It clearly thrives off the name alone. The entire experience was subpar at best. I was throughly disappointed. Especially when I make it a point to dine while watching Tripple D every day. Guy, you should make immediate improvements or close the location altogether.

Omg if I could only make my turkey taste like theirs! I was down here Memorial Day weekend, for work, and had dinner here with a large group, 30 high school students and adults. We were quickly served and everyone enjoyed their meal. Nothing left on ANY plate. Today, I ate here with my family. Adults sons and hubby cleaned their plates. The chef was able to secure some of their outstanding turkey for me. I’ve been dreaming of this turkey for the last month and my dreams came true. Hubby and sons, who aren’t turkey fans even commented on how good it was. Thank you to Chef and staff for their kindness and making my return trip SO worth it! Now I have to think of another reason to return to Louisville. Chef was even so kind as to let me take his photo AND offered to box up the meat for me to take home. Next time, next time, I’ll take you up on that offer. Much love from your biggest fan from the 313!

We all go because the name is famous. Let's be honest. Personally, it doesn't live up to the "reputation" the name holds. Its nice inside. Doesn't wow you but it was a clean and fun atmosphere. Waited at the counter for a few minutes before anyone came out to say anything. Looked like a team meeting was going on. Why that would happen at 6ish pm....not sure. Staff was friendly. Woman I paid asked for the add ons like sides and sauces. .25 for a cup of sauce just cheapens the whole thing. Guy you that struck you need to charge for a cup of sauce? It's not the price, it just seems stupid. Think someone said before, have never and probably won't, run into another BBQ joint that charges for sauce. I got the brisket and red skin potato salad. O and two cups of Carolina sauce. $14.15 before tip. Because you gotta tip the register people now I suppose. Contrary to what I read of bad reviews, the brisket wasn't dry. Was actually good. Guy Fieri good.... I dunno, he's never cooked for me. But going off his shows, perception does not "meat" reality. The potato salad was ok. Again, nothing to write home about. The two pics are new and then what was left. What you see left is a lot of fat. So it may have weighed out when ordered but remove that and it really wasn't worth it. Mission BBQ has this place beat hands down. I assume the "Guy" name is something where he just gets paid for this establishment to use. Because there's no catch phrase Fieri uses that describes this restaurant.

Stopped at this fine establishment for a drink to start off our night. Joe did not disappoint us at all!!! He made some great recommendations based off our preferences. My friend got and old fashion and I got a Grapefruit Splash.

Fat Boy sandwich was anything but "fat". Lots of hunks of fat, not melt in your mouth pork I've experience every time at City Barbacue, Columbus, Ohio Would not recommend this at all. Paid $27.00 for sandwich, very small cold Mac & cheese & small cup of iced tea. Oh, the tea was good! A name does not a great place to eat, save your money.

Food was delicious. I had the brisket, cornbread, and baked beans. Brisket was dry and room temp (I'm guessing it was the end of the piece so it had been out a while) sweet bbq sauce over the top and a few minutes later it had picked up enough moisture to relax again. Cornbread again, cold, but had great flavor. I split my cornbread and had brisket cornbread sandwich. Baked beans were the only thing warm enough to steam, and again 10 on flavor. And a shout out to the nameless man who I saw cleaning tables, checking on the smoker/grill and he was the guy who sliced my brisket!

We made this a must do on our visit, but it's not really anything spectacular. Definitely convenient and wasn't terrible, but probably won't go again. The bun for my PO Boy was cold and unsatisfying. My husband said the ribs were decent, but not impressive. I did, however, enjoy the BBQ sauces they had! Every staff member we encountered was AMAZING!!! Props to the crew and managers! The entire team was fantastic.

I would have to agree with one of the reviews.. I don't think Guy would be very happy with the way this food tastes.. we are foodies, with a food blog and go to Guy's restaurants all the time . This by far is the worst restaurant we have been to. The only thing good was the beans.

Turkey was awesome!! Get the white BBQ on the side. Side are ok. Drinks are awesome Steve-o rocks!! Anytime you are there ask for Steve-o. Overall, just another celebrity restaurant. That's three stars on a good day.

The place was clean. When you walk in music is playing and the games were on. When ordering the food it went smoothly. We ordered the Family of 4 pack. The brisket was dry and chewy. The ribs were good but bland. The pork butt was good but very bland. The smoked sausage was decent. The Mac and cheese had a funky taste. The baked beans were pretty good. But the street corn was mushy. I had high expectations as it was Guys restaurant. I drove an hour and half to eat here and will not be returning.

Very disappointed with this place. The pics and menu on their website didn’t match up with Google photos we were looking at on reviews. Considering this place is attached to the name Guy Fieri, I expected much better in all aspects. I was under the impression that they actually had a menu where you sat down and ordered. You actually had to order at the counter and take your food to your table. Very McDonalds like. There wasn’t a very big selection of food to choose from either. At least the food was tasty. Hubby has pulled pork sandwich with slaw, and I had the brisket with Mac and cheese! We enjoyed our food. I didn’t think there was anything special about the Mac and cheese, very generic. I tried the Kansas City BBQ and the Smokehouse JuJu sauces. The KC is on the sweeter side, while the JuJu is on the vinegar based side. Both were good…KC was my favorite. I would probably eat here again, but it won’t be for a good while.
