Went here for a late lunch/early dinner. There was a 20 minute wait, but it was over quickly, and we were shown to a freshly cleaned table. All of the staff we interacted with were polite, kind and altogether pleasant. The food was amazing. We split an appetizer sampler, and a Cuban sandwich. The house sangria was lovely, at a good price.

Waiter was super friendly, live music, great atmosphere, and good food. I'd like to say thank you. All these food options brought back tons on memories of my Cuban restaurants down in Florida. Boiled yuca, fried plantains, Empanadas yummy. Club Cuban sandwich and grilled beef. Oh man I was stuffed when I felt. Parking lot was so packed and hard to find a spot.

Absolutely fantastic!!! The food & service were great. We were admiring the statue outside & got to meet Pedro, the artist! Perfect night wish we didn't live 6 hrs away, we'd go every week!!!

Compared to other Cuban foods in the area, this place takes the cake but overall it was average. Food tasted great, but somewhat dry. Our server was barely to be seen but 100% understandable as it looked like she was basically serving the whole restaurant alone. Price was reasonable.

1st timer! Omg everything was on POINT! Everything was so good, only thing I was not to fond of was the margarita. I had a Jalapeño margarita and it was okay, it was a little luke warm and it just seemed as if missing something. The food was all fresh and well prepared. We were a group of 4, we went about 5pm and their was no wait. Our servers name was Lisandra aka Lisa and she was awesome! She knew the menu, she had great suggestions and overall she was a great server. The live music was and the atmosphere was whole vibe!! Highly recommend! Thank you so much!

Just when we thought our favorite Cuban restaurant couldn’t do food any better, BOOM, we were wrong (happily). We road trip this country frequently, and we have talked frequently about how Havana Rumba is simply one of the best (if not THE best) Cuban restaurants in this country. Whenever we find ourselves near Louisville, we go out of the way to get here. Today, they rolled out their signature appetizer, El Queso Rumba. This White Queso dip was a mixture of cheeses topped with guacamole and their signature Cuban Chorizo. My Cuban Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries was phenomenal. We added a side of grilled veggies because we have to claim something nutritional. My wife had her usual Vacas Fritas paired with Black Beans, Rice, and Plaintains. Everything was good, but that Queso was just OMFG. 🤤 If you’re near Louisville, do your palate and stomach a favor and stop here. You won’t be disappointed. We never have been. Sing it with me if you know… #FatGuyInALittleCoat 🎶

Wait time wasn't very long at all with a party of 5 at around 7pm Love the atmosphere here, Service is always Top Notch , no matter what day, time or month. Excellent service! Food was spot on and soo delicious!! The drinks were perfect! We were so full and satisfied we couldn't even order dessert. Grest restaurant, great people, you come in to dine and leave feeling like family!

Note: Please excuse the desert pictures. Mom and I were so eager to dig in I almost forgot the photos. So. There is a reason this place has such a high rating at almost 3K reviews. That said, either get there before they open, or wait until after the dinner rush. Mom and I got there before they opened so we got a table as soon as they were ready at 5. By 5:15 the place was packed. Do not go during the dinner rush unless you are expecting a wait. Probably a very long one. The food was incredible, and I strongly suggest Amanda for your server. She was super sweet, personable, and very efficient- especially given the number of tables she had (they were short staffed). Yes, we had to wait a bit sometimes, but given how busy she was I would have expected to have much longer waits than we did. I was thoroughly impressed by her. Mom got one of their pork dishes, and I got the Pollo a Mojo. Mom plowed through her meal, and was even kind enough to let me taste it. Very flavorful, especially after she squeezed the lime and lemon juice onto it. My chicken was perfection. A bit citrusy, perfectly marinated, and just all around wonderful. I also really loved the congri rice. The cumin flavor was really strong, though. I love cumin so I was happy, but I know some people may not. My chocolate cake was very good, and worth the 8 bucks, but did not hold a candle to Mom's banana dessert. The Havana Bananas are really something special. Not too sweet, and a good size to share if you don't want a lot of sugar, or perfect to keep all to yourself if you save enough room. Highly recommend, just remember they get busy fast. Definitely stopping in the next time I'm driving through Kentucky.

We love this place! Food is fantastic. Everything we've had was incredible. OMG, the Zarzuela de Mariscos and Coconut Margaritas! And be sure to get a coffee - fresh brewed with frothy cream.

This is my husbands favorite place to eat! We tried Cuban food for the first time in Miami years ago and now every time we are in Louisville this is our go to restaurant. I have not had anything that wasn't amazing. The staff is always so friendly and I love going on Saturday nights when they have live music!

A wonderful place to eat and enjoy great food with family or friends. They make excellent Margaritas. I had the Chicken and rice dish with Platans. The platens were so sweet and juicy. My husband had the Cuban Sandwich. We truly enjoyed out experience. I am sure you will to.

Oh my, delicious as usual. We have never had a bad meal here. We have enjoyed numerous menu items and it is always delicious. Margaritas, the ultimate, are the best. Our service tonight was fantastic. It's one of our favorite places in Louisville.

I like the setting of the restaurant and the service was good. The reason I am giving this a 3-star is because of the dish, tasted nothing special. Will be here again to taste other stuff though!

The food and service here we’re good. The restaurant was clean inside and out. There is a large outdoor dining area that was full. They have live music on the night that we visited on the patio also. Would return again.

We love this restaurant. The food is stop-you-in-your-tracks delectable and the servers are friendly and prompt. The atmosphere is truly wonderful and the only reason I gave it 4 stars is the volume and presentation of the music. The performer is always quite good, but it's often so loud that conversation is difficult. Also I'd much rather see a musical group than one guy singing to backing tracks. It's kind of like karaoke but there's only one person. Regardless, it's still an amazing experience.

My first time here, but definitely not my last. The food was amazing and the Service was above and beyond! It was my birthday and they treated me like I was royalty...even gave me a bongo solo with a surprise flan! Really made my day!

Food was superb. Had a Cubano Rumba sandwich with excellent sweet potato fries. The outdoor seating was pleasant on a hot and sunny afternoon due to the covering and the fans overhead. Only hitch was that no one came to our table for the first 15 minutes due to a miscommunication. After that initial wait, the service was excellent. All the diners in our party were more than satisfied with their meals. So good!!!!

Our large family of 18 often gets together at this location. The food is impeccable each time, as is the service. I’ve been to Miami & had Cuban cuisine there (the legendary Versailles), but Havana Rumba is much, much better. The live music is phenomenal here and the musician interacts with the children by handing them instruments. It’s adorable watching them dance and sing, while also loving their food.

Eat here fairly often since they opened in Middletown years ago. I've tried most of the items on the menu and I've never had a bad meal. The waitresses are always friendly and attentive. Most of the time they will also have a singer entertaining around the dinner hour. Great atmosphere to enjoy a great meal.

Always a great experience at the Havana Rumba. I love the food, service and live band. I don't know how they do it but the black beans are amazing. Also is you stack the flan dessert on top of the Tres Letches cake it makes an awesome combo, highly recommend you try it after you take your cholesterol medication.

My son treated me to dinner on Tuesday night. When we arrived it looked a little crowded, but we walked in and was seated right away. They have inside or outside tables and we chose inside. Our waitress was very friendly and she checked on us frequently. The food was outstanding and you get pretty large portions!!! After we finished our entree my son ordered us a dessert (he said, you have to try this) and coffee. They have three different choices of coffee to choose from. My son loves the (STRONG) Cuban Coffee and I chose the weaker one. The price was very affordable considering what ALL we had to eat. I will definitely be back very soon and bring some friends along to enjoy. ❤🥰

The food was great! I had the lechon and it was amazing. I asked for tostones instead of yucca and they were huge, and perfectly fried - crispy outside and soft and delicious inside. Others in the group had the garlic shrimp, empanadas, and the app sampler with a tamal. All of it was really good - even for folks who were not familiar with Cuban food. And there was live music! Great experience - thank you!
