Not only did my to go order take almost 2 hours (1.5 hours after the promised time) but I was given disgustingly old, cold food. Never received any message from a manager, any apology. Also never received the condiments i ordered. Have always received positive experiences at this location but I will share my experience and be sure to never return. F

I really appreciate how Cracker Barrel supports the RVers by tolerating overnight parking in their lots. I arrived here well after they closed and departed well before they opened, so I had no opportunity to eat at this particular outlet on this visit. Sorry! For the RVers, I would not recommend this lot for parking. It is directly under the end of the runway so that first flight landing at 5:00 am is going to wake you up. As well, it's next to a curve of the Interstate so the trucks using their engines to downshift and slow will also wake you up. Head to another CB if you're staying overnight.

Tried calling 5 times at 9 PM to pick up my food. I could only get the front counter 'retail only' lady to pickup. She kept transferring me BACK to same neverending loop of noone answering. I asked if she could just tell them herself and she reiterated EVERY time she 'only does retail' which is ridiculous cause she told them I wanted gravy on the side when I had to customize my order before picking it up. RIDICULOUS and flat LAZY. Lucky I like their food. Can only imagine the service inside. Curbside means come in now ugh ****On top of that .... I reminded them I needed ketchup and apple butter - of course got neither. Cornbread was super dry and the okra was soggy before we got back to our hotel 1 mile away**** My advice is go elsewhere

We had our lunch here, enjoyed the food and loved the atmosphere. Waitress who took care of us had great customer service. Only one small issue, though: Guy who called us on the mic when our table was ready couldn't enunciate to save his life. We almost missed it.

Cracker Barrel is a go-to for comfort food. Their Chicken fried chicken was delicious. Had corn, fried apples, and hashbrown casserole with it. Service was very good.

The only thing these goofies are consistent with is ensuring that your food is served up DISGUSTING. I ordered the "French toast" and they was unbearable. How can French toast be gross???? Try Cracker Barrels on Crittenden and you'll easily find out! It tastes like what I'd imagine Play-Doh modeling compound to taste like. Add to that, I didn't get the sugar cured ham that I asked for, the sausage and bacon where undercooked, and I didn't even get the biscuits that you're supposed get when you place an order. The whole experience is wild. I only ordered here because Wild Eggs' delivery fee was unreasonable, but cracker barrel on Crittenden (I emphasize THIS location) is something else. How dare you charge more than a dollar for that greasy slop you serve. If I could give a -3 I would, but I can't. So find this generous 1 star rating.

Always good home cooking and the prices are still reasonable. On top of that, if your at a loss for something to buy as a surprise gift without looking like you bought it at a gas station or grocery store, they have a selection of out of the ordinary gifts that can get you out of the dog house and back in the heart of your better half. Also a great place to create outstanding Christmas stockings that will make them thankful that they picked you. The staff were beyond the normal, customer service actually still exists in these little protected clouds of heaven. Just old fashioned family feel to the whole experience. Saleena was our server and for being near closing time was still very friendly and closely paid attention without being over intrusive. You don't see that in young people very often. She was so good at her job I paid more for the tip than I did for our dinner/breakfast, my wife is a big breakfast for dinner kinda gal. Which is another great thing about Cracker Barrel, you can order anything on the menu and they won't be saying, breakfast ended at 11 or something like that. What more can I say, oh, our cashier was able set aside a gift I was going to buy until we were done with our meal, also with a friendly smile. Thank you much Haleigh. With the abilities your using there I'm sure you'll go far in what ever field of business, and yes everything you could possibly imagine even the arts are business in the end. Keep up the power of the good disposition, it will take you far.

Would give 0 stars if I could as I received no food for an online order of ONLY side items. We arrived and checked in, as requested, and waited in the car for 15 minutes. They still hadn't brought the food out so I went inside to pick it up myself after 30 minutes of waiting. I was told my order had not yet come up and they would check. I told them what spot we were waiting in and returned to the car. An additional 30 minutes and still no food. I went back inside to inquire, yet again, and was told it still had not come up and they would check. I asked if I'd still need to pay for it since it had been over an hour since the order was placed. She went back to the kitchen and was gone for a while then returned and said the "ticket got lost" and they were putting together the order now and it would be ready in 5-7 minutes. Then 5-7 min later, she returned and told us that unfortunately they had run out of items we ordered. So after an hour and a half total since placing our order of only sides, we are leaving empty-handed with no dinner at 10:00 pm and are very unhappy and hungry. Will not be returning or recommending this location to anyone.

Had a great dinner there last night. The country steak with gravy, cinnamon apples, fries, and steamed broccoli were all cooked well. Great food and great price. My server was Prince. Great young man, professional, friendly, just all-around great young man. He will be going places in life, with his personality. Highly recommend!

They are still seating people back to back with a pandemic going on. Waited the 25 minutes to get a table and it was pushed so close to the others that we didn't feel comfortable staying. Our chairs literally touched the other chairs of the table behind us and half of the restaurant was empty tables. It would definitely have been better to space people out.

The food was good but the way this whole place was run was chaotic. I ordered the thanksgiving platter and arrived on Thanksgiving Day and this place was literally packed to the brim. My order was ready but I literally did not know where to go to pick up my order and wasted 30 minutes waiting in my car at one of the designated curbside spots when I should've just came around the building. Wished that I could've received a notification or directions to do that instead of wasting my time cause my food was cold when I got it. Nonetheless now I know the next time.

They’re just some days where you want something comforting, and the comfort food from Cracker Barrel. I had gone for a hike and on my way back I decided to make a stop at this location. Now one thing I have learned is that Cracker Barrel has an online waitlist. So that way if you know you’re headed there you can put your name on the list. On this particular day, there was no wait. It’s that classic Cracker Barrel ambiance and there was a little puzzle on the table and I was left with the menu. I haven’t been to Cracker Barrel in a really long time and I found it interesting that the menu now has alcohol. There’s mimosas and Jack Daniels drinks. I won’t hold that against them. Cracker Barrel also modified the menu to include some really nice Shareables for the table including fried pickle chips, cheese curds, and biscuit donuts. I ordered the Momma special which had pancakes, eggs, and your choice of meat. The nice part about the Cracker Barrel menu now is that they have a plant-based substitute for meat with impossible sausage. It was actually very tasty. I was very pleasantly surprised. The pancakes were light and fluffy. It comes with its own little singleserve syrup, and you can also ask for some fancy syrups. My meal was delicious. I really enjoyed it. And my coffee was getting constantly refilled while I was sitting there. This was a really great experience and I had an excellent time.

Don’t order the French toast. It was so disappointing. I gave them a chance to make it right and it was even worse then the first time. Plus a server literally dropped a knife in my back. The rest of the was very good.

Didn't get my bread on to go order that was expedited by the manager!? Frustrating. The grill/order slip even was marked off on everything except the bread, and has a big memo at the bottom of how much/type of bread needed, with a note to make sure it's not forgotten! LOL They we're kinda steady, and I know the chaos involved. Still very frustrating after 14 hour days, get to the hotel, pull out the scrumptious apple butter... Only to have nothing to put it on. Food was good though!

This place was filthy! I have never seen a Cracker Barrel so nasty. If it hadn't have been for my son wanting to eat here, I would have walked out. Our waitress was just average. She wasn't overly friendly at all however she did provide us with refills without having to ask. The food was good but we had no silverware prior to the food arriving and then we were asked if we would be okay with using plastic utensils. Really? That is absolutely ridiculous!! I couldn't get out of this place fast enough!

Food was blah! It's not the same home-cooked experience! Pancakes undercooked & chicken fried chicken dinner is extremely greasy. Left with upset stomachs. Oil in the fryers needs changed. Definitely has lost my business.

I work in food service so I completely understand how sometimes pickup/delivery orders can be overwhelming. My mother and me did a curbside order and were told that it would be ready at 8:20pm (I ordered around 7:50pm) at first, I was in no rush. I’m not too familiar with curbside but they have the option to tell the restaurant once you arrive. My mother got out the car and talked to them and they said that she should be able to say that she has arrived and the will bring out her order. We waited another 20 minutes and other cars that arrived before and after us got their orders. No staff members came to any of their cars. My mom then went back inside and saw that the bag was just sitting on the counter disregarded. Again, I work with food and I know some people can order multiple meals….. I only ordered two sides… I waited so long that my food is not warm at all and they didn’t even have the decency to put utensils in the bag. I usually try to be understanding but this location needs to definitely work on their communication, especially if they’re saying that they’ll be bringing the food to the customers just for it to sit to the side on a counter for over 20 minutes.

Went for Thanksgiving dinner wait was ok about 30 minutes got seated ordered the Thanksgiving special.. horrible!!! Let me say a baby wouldn't of gotten full off of that meal. 3 tiny pieces of turkey, scoop of dressing (runny), no Cranberry, don't like sweet potatoes nor pumpkin pie couldn't substitute ... very disappointed I wouldn't suggest at all. $16 for that little food.

Service was not the usually do to being busy and believe they were low on staff. Our waitress was waiting on a lot of tables. Order soup and salad. The soup took a bit of time as it needed to cook some more per our waitress. Vegetable soup did not taste as good as usually, but still tasty. Thought the staff did very well with the amount of people eating that day. Did notice they have outside sitting when weather good.

The wait wasn't too long for it to be graduation day. Our server was nice and efficient. The fish and vegetables were really good! There is always a lot to look at in Cracker Barrel. You can also pay by scanning a barcode, but I paid the old-fashioned way at the checkout. 😄

I dined alone early on a Sunday morning. I always love their biscuits. I hadn't been for a while but enjoyed my return. Biscuits were good. Service was friendly and paying by scanning the bill was very convenient. You don't need an app you just use the camera feature on your phone. No standing in line to pay anymore if you choose this option.

Pretty much like every other cracker barrel. You know what you're getting when you go here. My wife and I split the Sunday fried chicken dinner. It came with two huge fried boneless chicken breasts and two sides. It's was like $13 so not a bad deal. The chicken was good. Not crazy juicy but not dry either just average.

Waiter was wonderful friendly and tried to get us everything we needed. He was very overwhelmed!! Took our drink orders fast brought them back fast then it was a good 10 minutes before he came back to take order. Now I have been a assistant manager and I know the kitchen is busy and try to get food out all at once but!!! One or our meals was sitting it was dry and cold when it arrived. Our sausage patty’s were pink on the inside but burnt on the outside, dumplings were cold. Everything else tasted wonderful. After we all were done eating we had to get up to find our waiter. He never asked for go drinks or containers handed the check and walked away. I asked another server for a god box on my way out. The shop lady’s were great and sold us way to much fudge!! Experience was natural I guess kids got bored fast waiting on our food.

We spent the weekend here in Louisville and this was by far the best food, service, and experience we had here. They were by far the busiest restaurant we went too for the weekend but Alexis (our server) was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had a smile on her face the entire time. The food was perfect and all the staff was friendly and polite. Can't say enough good things about our experience.

Our server was amazing, even though we went when it was super packed. She help us very much my husband ordered their breakfast platter, I had the grilled chicken with bacon and cheese, and our son ordered a grilled cheese with tater rounds. This was our first time going to this specific location. Definitely will go again.

Ugh, the worst breakfast I have ever had and I wish I could say that was hyperbole. What's happened to you Cracker Barrel? Ordered carry out: Wild blueberry pancakes w/bacon, sausage biscuit and a side order of grits. Nothing about it was any good. The pancakes were bland and made palatable only by having the blueberry syrup with it; I never thought bacon could ever be so terrible I wouldn't eat it but thanks CB for providing me with my first instance, my guess is it was a left over batch from yesterday, it was awful; the sausage biscuit was an absolute joke, a tiny little puck of a sausage patty and an undercooked biscuit that cost over 3 dollars! Save yourselves on this, trust me, and get one from McDonald's, I couldn't believe how bad this thing was; and then last but not least the grits, so watery it was like a bowl of dishwater, just awful. Needless to say I did not finish anything but I was able to choke down some of the pancakes. Such a terrible disappointment I couldn't help but have to write this review. Sorry Cracker Barrel!

This place has home southern country style cooking if you don't have one in your area, I would say it's worth visiting if you find one. No I wouldn't replace my Smokey Mountain raised Grandmother's cooking but it's a decent take on it. I have always found it a little on the bland side but then again not the kind of food you would find elsewhere, so it does have purpose.

The store is great and they have fun items but what really makes this place shine is the service. We came in late Friday night after a day of travel. We just wanted a good meal and we knew this was the best option at 9 pm. We walked in and were greeted right away. Our server was "Prince" and he was one of the best servers I ever experienced. He was extremely polite and professional. He was very attentive and helped us with the menu. He also noticed we were talking at one point and I noticed he waited until we were done so he wouldn't interrupt us. I've been to many restaurants in my life but never had service this great. I highly recommend promoting him to management. Good service is hard to find especially in this day and age. Prince is someone that should be training all servers on what to do. Thanks again for giving us such a memorable experience.

I love the food. The service at this location is better than other locations. However I always get the impression that Cracker Barrel is too busy and understaffed. This particular location had a great server which made a big difference. Great food if you're willing to wait.

While in Louisville, Cracker Barrel was my place to eat, being that it was within walking distance from the hotel I stayed in. The first visit was dine in/take out and my experience was good. I ordered a strawberry mimosas and bacon n' egg hashbrown casserole, although a small portion , it was delicious! For take out I got a chef salad which was so good. My last take out order (next day) I didn't like my food as much, so my review will be rated just based on my first dine in and take out experience. Lastly my waiter Austin was awesome!! He was kind and attentive, even with having his share of tables! My needs never went unmet. Thanks Austin!!!

Although, it appeared they had workers. It was utter chaos. I was there to place a to go order. Was told by host that the to go person will be out to take my order shortly but he is running a bit behind. I watched the young man pass me twice until I eventually asked him when will he be taking my order? He replied, he had no idea I needed to place an order because his ear piece in which they communicate was out of his ear. Fast forward, my order was taken at approximately 12ish I didn't receive my order until hour 45min later. I did get any eating utensils the fish wasn't seasoned and hash brown casserole was very dry.

3.5 stars PROs: Consistency across all Cracker Barrel locations for taste, quantity and quality Large choices Breakfast anytime Clean restaurant Friendly staff No wait at the time we arrived Overloaded steak fries with bacon and cheddar cheese was delicious and large portion Delicious Beignets with pecan maple syrup CONs: Originally ordered chicken and French toast made with sourdough bread but they were out of sourdough bread Beignets were tasty with pecan syrup on the side but only 5 to an order. Each is a triangle about 2” per side. Somewhat small Ordered meatloaf and chicken and dumplings with green beans. Beans were hot but everything else was lukewarm at best It was supposed to come with cornbread but waitress forgot them. Eggs were ordered with hash brown casserole but came out with plain hash browns. Had to ask for eating utensils and napkins more than once. Overall good and service was lackluster which is not what I have come to expect from this chain so probably will go back again as I generally like the food and want to see if they have improved

The waitress was more interested in the family from her upbringings than anyone else. Waited for fresh water and never got it but that other table did. Had the lemon pepper trout and to my taste the lemon really overpowered it. My sister ordered biscuits and didn't get them till the end of our meal but the other table got some and they sat down after us and we were told that she was waiting for some more to be cooked.

The service: Showed up for a Curbside order at the time of pickup. After pressing “I’m Here” on my confirmation email I waited an extra 20 minutes in the designated spot before I called into the store to check on my order. I was told to hold. I held on the line for a total of 5 minutes, intermittently someone returned to the phone asking if I was waiting for the manager to my reply no, this happened 4 times and each time they told me they were still checking on my order. After 5 minutes I took the liberty of walking inside to which my order was still not found. 5 minutes later my order was giving to me. The food: Pretty sure my food was prepared a week ago & I waited a total of 30 additional minutes after the app said the food would be ready to receive it. The biscuits were so hard I could skip rocks with them. The chicken tenders were COLD and oddly pinkish in the center and the broccoli casserole smelled rotten and was an ice cube. I asked for no pork on any of the items that normally come with bacon like the loaded baked potato it was smothered and covered in it. My order was a total of 42 bucks.. to which I still tipped 20%. Needless to say it all went to garbage. It was inedible. Below is a photo of the trash.. because that’s exactly what I received. Lesson learned. -10/10.
