This is my favorite restaurant in Louisville. Excellent margaritas, great friendly service, and high-quality delicious food. The atmosphere is high-energy but not overly so. It can get busy at times, but (as of the day of this writing), they do take reservations up to the day before and take call ahead day-of.

The atmosphere here was just a taste of what it might feel like out in the streets of Havana itself. The food was Cuban authentic and will fill you right up. The Art, live music and staff that's got tides to the culture all come together to make a great Cuban restaurant that you'll definitely want to try out for yourself.

It has been a long time since I visited here and now I'm asking myself why didn't I come back sooner. The service was fantastic and the food was 100% authentic and legit Cuban food. I wish I didn't have to drive so far to get here, but that will no longer be a barrier. My Cubano sandwich was the absolute best I have ever had. I tasted the food from others at my table and the steak chimicuri (I hope I spelled that right) was out of this world delicious. I want to know how they make that so I can make it at home. 😆 Seriously, this restaurant is amazing and I can't wait to go back.

Glad we found this place. We drove 1.5 hours to come try it. The service was great thank you. The food was the best tasting I had in 20 years since I moved to Kentucky.

I daydream about this food multiple times a week. I'll drive from Lexington to Louisville to eat at this restaurant. It's spectacular. The atmosphere is awesome, the art is excellent and when there is live music it just ties everything all together. Do yourself a huge favor and eat at this place.

Very flavorful and delicious. Not only tasty but very good presentation as well. Service was very good with no wait and attentive wait staff. I can see why this is a popular place. Well stocked bar. I look forward to a return visit.

Carlos was a great waiter. The food was brought out quickly. The food was very good. Lots of flavor. The drinks were amazing and made very quickly. The restaurant was well staffed and clean. The restrooms were clean as well. I have nothing to complain about. I will definitely be back.

Love it. Good dining area but we opted for the bar, ambiance is much better. The bartender was very pleasant and helpful. Food was on point, we ordered the toston pollo and tapeo criollo. Bon appetit!

Haven’t had Cuban food since I went to Cuba and this spot did not disappoint. Two friends and I split an appetizer and the portion was big so we only need to split an entree. The flavor is great and the staff is super friendly. Most of them are from Cuba which I love. Would definitely go back!

We stopped in for a late lunch. After reading some reviews we decided on the Havana Rumba I believe it was called. The sandwich was just ok and the fries were cold. I would have given this place 2 stars, but the honey dip for the fries was delicious as well as the flavored butter for the bread. Instead of chips and salsa they give you bread and flavored butter (which was so good). We also got a house Margarita and it was really strong. Overall we were not impressed and will not be back. They only offer about 2 parking spaces, so you have to find parking on the street. We found free parking about a block away in front of a cat cafe.

This place is a party. Food was excellent for how loud and busy it was the service was good. Restaurant was almost like a night club. Food was definitely worth how loud it was. I would go back

Excellent experience! My husband and I stopped for lunch while traveling. This place had all my Cuban favorites. The Cuban sandwich is authentic and delicious. The pork was juicy and flavorful. The spinach corn and cheese empanada was fabulous 👌. The crust was perfectly light and flaky...not at all hard or overcooked. Only sadness is that they don't have a restaurant in TN where we are from.

OMG, this restaurant was off the chain. I visited with my girlfriend and two close friends. This was our first time at the restaurant and we had Lisandra (Lisa) as our server. Lisa was amazing and the food was even better (no shade to Lisa - we love you girl). Since this was our first time, we went crazy on the tapas; bread with garlic and cilantro butter, Rumba Queso Dip, Guacamole, Havana Chicken Nachos, Empanadas, Chicken, Steak and Shrimp tacos. Listen, you have to go try it for yourself. Peep the images and videos.

Delicious! Margaritas were perfect, and the food was seasoned so well. Will definitely be eating there again. The live music was a plus. It's rare to find restaurants who have live music anymore. Being serenaded while eating was a plus 👌

Really tasty food and excellent service! Large seating areas, but when we came in we were seated at a high top against the wall next to another high top of 5 people so I felt really cramped. Our waitress was attentive and we got our drinks and food quickly so not much to complain about. Mojitos are yummy, not syrupy like some of the places we've been to. The chicken croquettes were light (for fried items), and yet flavorful. Will definitely come back and try other cuban dishes.

Went here for the first time yesterday. EVERYTHING was good! Kelly served our table and made some recommendations. She has great taste in my opinion. Everything she recommended was good. Get the cheese and spinach empanada. The beef was good but the cheese and spinach was great. Food and drinks had amazing presentation and taste. They even have the initials for the restaurant on their ice in the old fashion. Definitely had to get a picture. I tried a lot of food this first visit but definitely going back to try more!

A coworker who is Cuban suggested I order food from Havana. Therefore, I ordered a Cubano sandwich and fries to go. While I was driving home I sampled the French fries, the fries were cold. When I arrived home I examined the sandwich, the bread was saturated from the tomatoes. In order to have a pleasant dinner experience I heated the fries and sandwich in the microwave. Needless to say, I will not visit this establishment again

Always an incredible meal, excellent service, and delicious drinks at Havana Rumba! Thanksgiving weekend we stopped in Friday night and loved the live music and fun vibes! Our out-of-town guests had a great time and we will be back soon. Keep up the great quality Havana Rumba - don’t change a thing!!l

Came here on a recommendation from a friend. Staff are very friendly. The fried plantains are awesome. My wife’s dish was great, mine was a little bland, but nonetheless it was a great meal. They do have live music so it can be a little loud if you’re not in to that kind of thing.

I'm coming from Miami so Cuban food is my speciality. I enjoy the restaurant, the atmosphere and the food. Everything was outstanding. Will come here again. Flavor was amazing.

A good place to dine. The live music is great and the food is awesome. I do wish the tables and chair and more space between them. Sitting and eating was a bit tight and I’m not a huge person

Decided to go last second to Havana Rumba and it was a good experience. Like most restaurants in Louisville, I would recommend getting a reservation. We only got in because we were a party of 4 that came in early. I had the palomilla steak and my wife had the pollo con queso. I did get the steak with no onions but I was a little disappointed in the cut, I assumed thinly sliced was vertical cuts but it was a horizontal cut (it was still pretty good). I would recommend the pollo con queso though! I got a taste of it and it was much better than what I had. We all tried the mojitos and they were amazing! You can even get different flavors of the mojitos. All and all a pretty good experience, just make sure call ahead in advance, especially if you have more than 4 people.

Our server vanished most of the time and never got a drink refills. The other restaurant location was a way better experience. The food was way over priced for the quality I paid $25 for basically a flank steak, rice, beans, and fried plantains. Boiled yuca didn't have much flavor.

Have always loved this place but havent been there in years due to living out of town. Well worth the 2 hour drive. Food was great, server was great and the atmosphere was great.

Found this Cuban restaurant here at Bardstown Road! The food is good , we’ve ordered chimichurri steak and chicken quesadilla🫶. However, our server was a bit sharp, she won’t even let us finish our sentence (she’ll say I know) I dunno if it’s just being confident and assertive but it just made us a bit uncomfy. The ambiance is good especially they have outside sitting with a really good view.

¡Delicioso! We had a wonderful experience. The food was plentiful, tasty and authentic, service was knowledgeable and eager to assist with any questions. I have never looked this forward to leftovers so much😋

This is one of our favorite places right now! We found out about this place from my wife’s colleague. He spoke very highly about the food and we wanted to try it. Verdict : Amazing food!! What we tried - Camarones al ajillo - Tapas style shrimp sauted in butter and garlic served with aioli and salsa. The bread takes it to the next level. Arroz con Mariscos - Paella. Buttery and creamy with hints of tomato. Served with plantain. It contains shrimp, calamari, scallops and mussels. We shared this and couldn’t complete it coz the portions for huge!!! That’s a win in my book! Highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t!

We were in from out of town and saw an ad for this restaurant. What a great find!!! Authentic food that was simply amazing and super Cuban and American music. Service was outstanding! The only disappointment was the mojitos were nothing like those in Cuba. They did not have mint leaves and lime muddled in the drink. A small disappointment. We will make a special trip down to return. A delightful find.

Very nice restaurant. The food, customer service, and atmosphere was extremely good. Prices were good for the amount of food that you get. If you ever want some good tasting Cuban food while you're in this area, definitely check this place out.
