Wow! I just stopped by and ordered the gluten free omelet, with potatoes and fresh fruit. It was easy to order, food was fast and very tasty, fine quality and presentation like a 5 star restaurant, even on my "to go" order. Very impressed and can't wait to come back. Price was more than fair for the quality, amount and the original variety. The staff here is very kind and friendly, with a creative menu that is accommodating for those with gluten issues. The location was nice, clean, and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of local business and the type of food options that I want to support. I can't wait to come back and try the biscuits and mushroom gravy, and those gluten free breakfast tacos. Thanks for being awesome 👌 My lunch was amazing. (After multiple visits) Yes, definitely love this place! 😀 Find myself craving their omelet platter, those potatoes are awesome 👌

Flora is under new management and is just as good! Still vegan, still has gluten free options. Maybe a smaller selection of donuts, but a larger selection of food. I love the soyrizo tacos. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is great. There is outdoor seating both in the front and behind the restaurant. It’s also Black-owned, women-led, and LGBT friendly.

Hungry and hangry vegans come one come all!! This place will fill your cup and your stomach! The food we enjoyed today whispered vegan never tasted so good. If your looking for a place to bring your non vegan relatives that knock veganism this is the place just have them try the vegan biscuits and gravy! The business is family owned and they are Woke! Plus if your looking for vegan goodies The Indignant Platypus (which is set up nex to the counter) is owned by Hayley she has every tasty treat for whatever your craving. Also*** dont you just love when a restaurant has a cute bathroom? I do! I posted pictures of that too and they have been considerate enough to leave free feminine products laid out nicely on a very cute table. Attention*** they have fresh cut flowers and really nice music playing the smell of the food they make wavers in the air and the art on the wall is creative and original! They also host events and have a backyard garden!

Wonderful breakfast! Friendly service from husband and wife owners. Best vegan pancakes we’ve ever had and we’ve had allot of vegan pancakes. Really appreciate the house made items and real and fresh ingredients. Well done! Wish that we didn’t live 5 hours away.

Group of 7. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for food and still waiting. Orders and drinks were brought out one at a time and 1 drink was even forgotten and we had to ask for it. many things not in stock. one person had a hair on their plate once they finally received their food. the tacos were either soaking wet or bone dry, when bringing out tacos they stated the wrong name of one entree and got them switched up when handing it out. Didn’t realize since stuff was brought out one at a time and the tacos were already eaten once the second order came out. staff does not wear masks. Not worth paying nearly $40.00 for two people. Honestly zero stars.

Outstanding!! A fun experience trying a different type of breakfast. We picked this place from the reviews and were not disappointed. Friendly service. The BEST tasting pancakes. FRESH squeezed orange juice. 🍊Prices are a little steep but it was worth it!!

My wife and I love vegan food. We travel all the time and really enjoyed visiting new restaurants and trying out the amazing variety in flavors provided by different cuisines . We were trying this restaurant for the first time. Waffles were ok but the potatoes and the tofu had no salt at all and everything was poorly cooked. Maybe was just that I had bad luck that day or the chef had a bad day. I was really disappointed because we were looking forward for this. I'm sorry to give 2 stars. I hope you guys take this the right way and see it as a push for improvement. I would definitely be back in a couple of months to see if anything has changed.

Whenever I have a free morning, I like to stop into Flora for some delicious treats. Their menu is very affordable, and they some really great options. It's also the only place to offer a selection of vegan doughnuts in Louisville that I'm aware of.

Flora Kitchenette is a well thought out very casual establishment, well off the beaten path (if you’re tourists like we were staying downtown) that was worth the Lyft ride out to get breakfast to satisfy our vegetarian and gluten-free leanings. They have really good coffee! It was strong, just the way I liked it, and it paired well with their donuts. I’d been on a bit of a biscuit-kick on this vacation and was happy to continue it here with a vegetarian version of biscuits and peppered gravy. It took me a second to get used to the cream base where the nut taste was fairly present, but I grew to like it a lot. I also had a vegan “sausage” patty on the side (nice to get biscuits and “sausage” gravy as a vegetarian!) which tasted good, though it wasn’t the ideal texture. It went well with the gravy. My wife and I shared a gluten free matcha donut (non gluten free version also available) It tasted like a cake donut mostly and was sweet. My wife had the Apple toast with Cashew Cheese. She thought the sour flavor of the sauce came through a lot, and described it as tasting like what it smells like at a beer factory. She also enjoyed the green tea she got, which was served loose (so steep to your heart’s content). They’ve got a kid-friendly table set to with toys and a full-on crib in bathroom so they’ve put some thought into making their space comfortable and accessible to families. Well done!

I've been to Flora several times and have always loved the food there, from their biscuits and gravy to their pancakes, roasted potatoes, tofu scramble and tempeh bacon (a personal favorite). The staff are also incredibly kind and provide great service. My one complaint, which seems to be the most common, would be the long wait times for food. I know that as of the time of this review, the business is struggling, which I'm sure is impacting throughput. It's unfortunate that this is probably not doing them any favors business-wise. If you care about waiting a while for your food, I would place your order in advance online, otherwise understand that it may take some time and enjoy the experience. Come with friends or something to do. The food really is delicious. I'd love to see them overcome this hurdle in the future if they are able to.

Great vegan brunch. Went with 3 vegans, a vegetarian, & myself - vegetarian friendly. Everyone- including 2 children were happy & enjoyed everything. I had biscuits & gravy - loved it. Could not tell it was made w mushrooms. Sampled the pancakes, sausage patties, & doughnut. All were good. Definitely recommend!!

Super cute, perfect vibes, family owned business. Budget some extra time if you're going during busier hours but it is so worth it. The attention to detail is really what makes this place so special. I had a BLTA and the fake bacon was excellent but the quality of the bread, lettuce, avocado and tomato really wowed me. Had some fresh fruit on the side that was equally perfect. Makes you remember how little time we spend eating real, fresh food. Very special meal from some very special people.

Great place for relaxing Sunday brunch. Food was tasty, vegan, and various items can be made gluten-free. Friendly people. Food takes some time, so bring something to read and chill.

Mouth watering biscuits and gravy is what made me stop in this adorable local vegan shop and the incredible spread of amazing vegan options makes me wish I lived closer. Every single thing I ordered was phenomenal. Even the art on the walls was great (literally ordered a print while I was sitting there to be delivered to my home in Florida). So thankful Louisville was on my stop so I could enjoy the fabulous offerings of Flora Kitchenette.

Food was phenomenal! Coffee was really good! Thankful for the wholesome food that filled our bellies without worrying about having to explain vegan! We will stop in again next time we pass through!

We know that wait time on food can exceed 30-45 min and we plan for that, and we are never disappointed. Our food is always so delicious and presented with care. I imagine it takes a little more time to do such a good job every single time with every order and we appreciate that. It's the best vegan brunch in town, in our experience. Great for carryout, which is how we usually do it.

We came in for breakfast! One of the better vegan breakfasts we have ever had, at least for me. I had the breakfast sandwich. It was a little salty but my husband said it was normal for a biscuit flavor. He didn't care for his biscuits and gravy as much as my sandwich. They forgot to bring out the potatoes I ordered or something happened and by the time they were done I just asked to replace it for another coffee which she happily did. Pumpkin latte was amazing. Much like other vegan places it was a little pricey for the portion, however considering the cost of vegan alternatives it's understandable. Hopefully one day vegan alternatives will be so commonplace it becomes more affordable.
