Amazing service and great food. Price is totally unbeatable and a legendary place to eat in Louisville. You can’t go wrong here! Plus you don’t have to get out of your car. This is a plus plus plus.

Great old fashioned drive-in burger joint! Made to order burgers, fries, and milkshakes. Friendly staff, curbside service, low prices make this a must stop if you’re visiting the area and want a local sampling. Sure, you can get all of this at your nearest (fill in blank) chain restaurant, but it’s places like these that make for a unique experience that you know goes to help the community. Check out the Dizzy Whizz if you’re in Louisville!

Best burgers you've ever had. Loaded up with classic thick cut crinkle fries, and topped off with the best, and not too sweet, sweet tea. Always excellent service from Jackie!!! <3 this is my favorite fast food in the state!! Also their large is super sized

The place is small...very old school looking. It's nothing special but it's a very big deal for people rim Louisville...at least it used to be. The burgers are very thin so definitely go with the double or triple. Crinkle fries...nothing amazing. The whizz sauce is tartar sauce...on a burger....and yes, it works.🤣🤷‍♂️ It was a decent place to check out but it's not the best burger in the city as I was told. It's an old school diner feel and it's worth checking out. The food is average.

I got the Dizzinator, it was a 1 pound delicious cheeseburger. So much food, but it was worth every bite. My wife got the Super Wizeburger which was a 1/2-pound cheeseburger. She enjoyed hers also. I got a large chocolate malt and she got a large vanilla shake. We both got cherry cokes and seasoned fries. Everything was great! Our toddler got his first cheeseburger! He was a fan!

The food at Dizzy Whizz is good, not great! I enjoyed the French fries, they were hot and fresh. The 2 for 7.77 burgers tasted good, the presentation wasn’t great/ there was a LOT of mayo/tartar sauce on there. I would get that sauce on the side if you don’t like an extra creamy burger. Aside from that my experience here was fine. The server was friendly and the food came out fast! Id try it again - with the sauce on the side haha. Thank you!

This was a horrible experience. This place is clearly living on the reputation of yesteryear. Something really screwy is going on with the people that work there. I told the young lady it was my first time there then she called a guy up to take my order. She said she had to take something outside..but she only stepped back past the drink area. After I ordered, I felt that something was off, so I sat down the I started looking at my receipt. The guy noticed me reviewing it and came over and told me, "aww, I messed that up, let me give you the money out my pocket". I told him to just charge it back to my card.....but he didn't want to and gave me the money out of his wallet. Very odd FOOD The cheeseburger was on a large bun, but the pattie was the size of a slider (totally not exaggerating). I ordered a cheeseburger combo (burger, onion rings, milkshake)...$11.72 . There were four onion rings in the order (I posted a picture)...then. come to find out, the guy charged me for extra onion rings. But I asked if this was a correct order...they said yes. I have to be honest, I'm sorry to say, do not eat here. It's overpriced and under delivered.

Had a special deal on 2 bacon cheeseburgers / 2 fries plus an order of onion rings - right around $13. Very reasonable, food was tasty. I'm a bit sad the counter isn't open any more. Interior is showing its age and could probably stand to have the dining room tidied a bit more. Seemed under-staffed. I liked the shaded drive-in parking.

It is a local place & we are from out of town. So we decided to give it a try. They were not very busy when we got there. The food was good, but charged extra for a slice of tomato on the burger. When we got our order, we didn't have the tomato. Had to give the lady our ticket(she took our order) to show that we ordered the tomato. OK, fine we got our tomato. The lady was not very friendly, not rude but not very friendly. More customers come in. Then while we are sitting there eating a man comes in & starts a shouting match with another customer. The manager comes out to break it up. This may not be the norm but was a very weird experience.

I loved the fact that this place is like the old drive up restaurants! I just pulled in and they came out to my car and took my order. I only had to wait about 8 minutes for my food and I was on my way back to Deb’s house! Just the kind of service I really enjoyed!!! Thank u!!! Oh, and the food was made fresh and was delicious!!!

Old style drive in. You can get curb service. Milk shakes are the best I have had. Burgers are really good. Way better than fast food. More like diner style. Been around forever and highly recommend. Looks a little run down, but the food is great.

This is a hole in the wall where you know the food is going to be awesome! Parking was ample and I got my food within 10 minutes. Try the special, it's two burgers for 8 bucks and some change. And a medium fry to that, and for less than $15, you'll have a gut busting meal. Didn't have a chance to try the shakes, but everyone in there ordered one, so I'll be trying that next time I'm in town.

I love this place, my whole family can agree they have great service. Delicious burgers fries and onion rings. Papa likes the ice cream selection. It may be a whole in the wall to most it's are first choice when were down town it kicks McDonald's and white castle down town out of the water. If it ever closes it would be a sad day for sure.

Great little place and easy to find. Service was quick and friendly. I had a Deluxe cheeseburger with special sauce, which was very filling. The bun was toasted and burger thin, just like an old fashioned diner. Also the seasoned fries, which were fantastic, an unsweetened tea and Flurry. Everything exceeded expectations and I will definitely be back. Great little lunch spot!

Someone recommended this place for a Milkshake and so glad I tried them. The shake was delicious. Also, tried the Whizz Burger 🍔. Reminded me of a Big Mac but better and the onion rings were good too. The lady at register was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely will return.

Their whizzburger is always great. It's very well priced and they have ice cream for dessert the whole family will enjoy. It needs some TLC, cleaning and updating. I understand it's supposed to be a "look." Honestly, it just looks dirty and never cleaned. They could spend a very low amount of money cleaning up dining room and I guarantee more customers come back. The staff is very nice and polite

This place is great! Great burgers. Crispy seasoned fries. Delicious sweet tea. A Sonic without the grease. 👍 And it's been there since 1946! 😲 Treasure find.

Very disappointed. I had heard great things about this place and it's right around the corner from my house. My boyfriend saw they had pork tenderloin sandwiches so he ordered two since he loves them and I ordered one classic burger. Got home only to discover the pork sandwiches weren't breaded or anything, just a piece of pork and bread, no flavor either. Needless to say he was VERY unhappy. My burger was just ok, nothing special. And to walk out with one order of small fries and drink for almost $25, we won't be going back.

This place has been a staple of Louisville my whole life. I went for a Whiz burger and fries, having not had one in years. I was not disappointed. It was nostalgic, greasy, and delicious. They always have ģreat ice cream, shakes, and Sundays.

This is a great place to enjoy shakes, food, and more. The environment is friendly and just the right place to enjoy your lunch or dinner company. We stop by all the time for the affordable $7.77 Whiz burgers for 2 or just to enjoy their wonderful shakes!!.

They definitely put a spin on the old burger with their Dizzy Whizz burger. Its unique to them and is moderately priced. This restaurant has one of the old school drive up restaurant vibes, kinda like sonic but scaled down. The staff is always nice and friendly.

What a great little place to get really good food. The double bacon cheese burgers were wonderful! The fries were hot and fresh. DEFINITELY will revisit when i'm in Louisville again.

It's been 20 years since I had eaten here. I was thoroughly impressed on how good my food was. Fresh crisp seasoned fries and two Whizz burgers for $7.77. I really dislike fast food but honestly can't wait to eat here again.

Go here. Classic drive in burgers! The seasoned fries are the best. The servers are always incredibly kind. Might not be super fast, but you can order online ahead of time and make the pick up smoother. One of a few local places that make Louisville feel like home to this Georgian!

It is an awesome value that doesn't skimp on taste. Most fast food, "deals" are just barely enough to fill an empty molar. I got 2 Whizzburgers for $7.77, never expecting them to be double burgers. Made fresh and served hot, another pet peeve of mine, other fast food burgers ALWAYS seem chilled, even when I know it has to have been made fresh. I look forward to a return visit.

This place has the best comfort burgers I've ever had. My grandparents found this place and take the family all the time. The inside is very small so I'd recommend taking out, but other than that it's fantastic and great prices

This was our first stop in Kentucky after we landed. Food and service were excellent. We opted to dine in and our server was very nice. Food came out quickly, hot and delicious. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for something local.

Yummy yummy yummy is all I can really say plus amazing 😃. This place sits in the heart of the downtown Louisville area. It's been here for years and years. And probably will still be there been I'm gone from this world. It doesn't look the best outside but don't judge a book by its cover it's all I can really say. Because once you walk inside and place an order he'll realize the employees are very friendly down to earth and outgoing. Services very quick and accurate. And once you get your food and have a chance to get that first bite of one of their sandwiches you will absolutely fall in love. So amazing and mouth watering. Plus they have malted milkshakes that are so amazing and taste so good. It's a whisperer is where it's at with the chocolate malted milkshake. If you're in the Louisville area this is a must try or if you're just a local like me you stop in every once in awhile to enjoy that mouth watering Burger and chocolate malted shake. Along with the many other options they have for breakfast and lunch. It's definitely a Louisville favorite. You can definitely taste the food is home cooked not like regular fast food. Definitely 5+ stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!!! Don't pass this restaurant up. You won't regret it. 👍🏻❤️

It was wonderful just like I remembered. I went there when I was in my twenties. It hasn't changed all that much. Same atmosphere but of course difnt cooks and servers. They are young but very friendly and they are open so I was blessed to eat inside Ok ate lunch. I came from my Doctor's office downtown where I went for my check-up. I was too late for breakfast and they are known for scrumptious breakfast. I hope to go back soon.

Everything was delicious. Made to order kept the food fresh. Even the shakes were made from real fruit. Must go if you're looking for great burgers, a dairy bar, or even "true" curbside pickup.

I had never been before but had been curious due to their ad depicting a not so appetizing burger on 65. I have passed it a few times and thought it was quite charming, and upon my first visit I liked the relaxed atmosphere and cheap prices. The burgers surprised me and were delicious, like a bacon burger grilled cheese. The fires were mid, but what did you expect. GET YOU A DIZZY BURGER!

My husband wanted to try Dizzy Whizz as he'd never been before. Last time I ate there myself was in the late 80s. No reason other than Dizzy Whizz isn't convenient to where I live and work. I forgot how small the inside eating area is! We both had the Whizz Burger, without the special sauce and with a slice of tomato added, fries & a soft drink. The Whizz Burger also has two hamburger patties. The Whizz Burgers were tasty & not overly greasy. The fries were crinkle cut, hot, with just the right "crispness" to them. My husband so thoroughly enjoyed his Whizz Burger, he ordered a second one "to go" ... but ate it before we left! He's already wanting to go back & try other items on the menu!🙂

The prices can’t be beat. The service wasn’t the best. The burger and fries were good. The coleslaw was too thick, heavy, and sweet for me.
