This is, hands down, the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. Sean is an excellent waiter. He is very personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Never had to ask for a refill either. Food was absolutely divinely delicious! Service, food, atmosphere, all of it was top notch! Highly recommend! You will not be disappointed.

As I was visiting a relative over in Louisville last week and after doing shopping and running some errands I asked him to stop at a restaurant for lunch. He threw that name on the table and l was really stunned by the funny name, so I was anticipating something a little unusual and fun. As we stepped in , we were welcomed by the host and guided all the way to where we preferred to sit. Frankly, as I was following the host through the seating halls and hallways, you can see numerous paintings and pictures on the walls that give the feeling you are mingling in an Italian old town. I was really wowed by some of the interior design.The restaurant was huge from inside with adequate seatings to hold large celebrations and parties with no worries. Well ! Let's talk about the food. This place is an Italian restaurant with an American touch. To me, it is a great place for great Italian food and fun! Buca really offers Italian cuisine in a selective, vintage setting with a wide-ranging menu . My order was the chicken parmesan and was one of the most scrumptious Italian dish I had in any American/Italian restaurant. I absolutely enjoyed every bite of that meal. The food there I believe is always fantastic and no matter what you order. Not to omit , the service was perfectly attentive and the server was so nice and helpful with options and suggestions. None of us had left the restaurant in a bad mood. I assure you that you will leave full and satisfied. To be back? Definitely with big YES in my next visit to Louisville.

Shelby was outstanding and took great care of us during our recent visit. We were celebrating a milestone and this was a perfect cap to the evening. The food was excellent. The drinks were outstanding. The atmosphere is just really cool. Definitely recommend!

Food us absolutely amazing. Huge portions friendly service. Came back for a second dinner and once again they did not disappoint! Food was fantastic and service was above and beyond. Shout out to our server Mara for making sure we had a great experience and wanted for nothing!

Laid back atmosphere fast friendly service and darn good food. We had the fried mozzarella, small cheese pizza, cheese manicotti, and lasagna...all of these dishes were excellent and cooked to perfection.

The food today was kind of bland with seasoning but it was good. The salad is where the best flavors was in my opinion. The service and staff was great. Amazing atmosphere and very clean with very polite people. I would Highly recommended for large family events. But not so much for date night.

Great food & service: Naomi is exceptional with the right amount of attention and assistance. Our party of 4 enjoyed beautifully presented appetizers and generously portioned and seasoned entrees. 2 of us split the egg plant parmigiana and the other two had plenty to take home. Thank You!

Food was very tasty! Service was wonderful! Said the small size would feed 2-3, however it was more than we could eat for 2 meals! We ordered the lasagna, Brussels sprouts with prosciutto, and a salad. We had the sangrias, one white and one red, not the best, but not the worst. We will definitely be back!

Chef Michael was awesome tonight! He took such good care of our huge group of 50. The food was great and so was the wait staff.

Rhianna was a wonderful waitress with a wonderful smile. Food was awesome and a lot of it. Good atmosphere and well worth going.

This place to me would be better if they had prices per serving. Sometimes not everyone is going to agree on lasagna. 2 may want that but someone may want the chicken Parmesan. A bit pricey, even if it is served family style. I mean, if you buy the chicken Parmesan, serve it with spaghetti. Don't make the customer pay extra. 2 of us went for lunch, we spent $81. Individual plates would have been better. We enjoyed the food but will probably not go back

I went here for my 28th birthday and all I can say is wow! The food and service is beyond incredible and I’d chose this place over some bland old Olive Garden any day. my kids love the meatballs we definitely will be coming back!

Customer service is HORRIBLE!! Second time ordering desert and spending more than $100+ for dinner. If they’re out of why you order. Keep in mind they can’t be bothered to call and give an option of what they do have. Nor will they promptly refund your money. We dine in often and have ordered multiple times! Way to lose loyal customers! The phone was answered rudely with only rude responses! Shame on you for being thieves! Pasta is always consistently good but customer service is everything!

Great Italian restaurant. Food is always wonderful and orders are served for multiple people, there will be plenty to go around. I highly recommend a reservation. My wife and I tried to go the Saturday before new years and they were completely booked that weekend. The manager was extremely professional , transparent, and apologetic for not having anything available. It was my own fault.

All I can say is Amazing. Service and food was great! I don't remember my Servers' name but he was great as well. Answered all questions and even made some recommendations. Again, food was amazing, prices may seem a little high but its not. The food comes in different serving sizes with 3-4 people being the smallest! But, don't take my word for it, come check them out!!!! They are awesome.

My wife & I come to Buca because of the outstanding food & service. The food is always hot & consistent. We’ve been eating here for many years. It’s always great to see Dino. Every time we go he makes it special and treats us like family. We’ve eaten at other Buca’s but none of them compare to Louisville. It’s worth the 60 miles each way for the Buca experience.

Had an amazing time for my fiancés birthday last November! This was the only restaurant where I could easily reserve a table for 12 around dinner time. Had a great “family feel” to it, and the food was OUTSTANDING! We loved their lasagna and salmon dishes. Also, our server was incredibly kind and helpful! It was fun when they came out and sang the Buca Birthday song too. Thanks for a wonderful night and some amazing memories! ☺️

"Buca" I one of those places that you go to EXPECTING to be well-fed, with an array of tasty, quasi-healthy comfort foods. They do not disappoint! What I love most is the consistency: of the food quality, the diversity of the menu - all which fall within the wholesome category of Italian mainstays - and more and more, the attentive and friendly wait staff. The latter was good and forthright, letting us know how busy they were, suddenly, because of a 17-guest table (all belatedly requesting separate checks) so as to set our expectations. More than anything else, except for the high quality and tastiness of the food, the family style, large portions make "Buca" a restaurant that you go to for special occasions, like days with a "Y" in them. I highly recommend trying the one closest to you. You won't be disappointed! ☆☆☆☆☆

2/10, I won’t return. Ordered an anti-past salad , got a salad with tomato’s only , then they brought the extra toppings 20 minutes later for a soggy salad, the checks couldn’t be split properly , the sever put all 50$ of the drinks on one check . Garlic break was gross . Food was ok , nothing special.

My fiancée and I were in town for a concert and vacation - and we chose to eat here for lunch Friday afternoon. Shay was our server and she was absolutely incredible at her job. We requested to be seated outside and we were accommodated with no issues. Being from out of town we had plenty of questions about the menu, and Shay was incredibly helpful with helping us navigate the menu. We ordered the quattro al forno and it was absolutely delicious! We have never had an italian dish this delicious, as well as service this great and accommodating. We feel like Shay went above and beyond for us and we wanted to make sure it was noted in the review, and huge compliments to the chef - the food was outstanding. we will absolutely be back the next time we are in Columbus!

Food was great, same as always. Everything is family size, so better to go with a group, or plan on leftovers. Chicken Parm is my favorite.

it was very good, It is pricey but you do get a lot, 2 of us shared the meatballs and the stuff shells and we were very full

First time I’ve been here in 20 years (haven’t lived here not bc it’s bad 🤪) and as soon as I walked in I was like OMG this place smells so good!! We had a fun Galentines Day dinner- the food “was heavenly” (per my 16 YO niece) and environment was great! Our server Angelo was the best! And Chef Mike was so friendly through out the night

Great family style Italian restaurant. Restaurant is a little bit of a maze but it's a great atmosphere, staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is always good.

Went there for birthday using the coupon which I would highly recommend . I love the pictures and very different kinds of pictures of places and people from a distance era which makes eating there more interesting. I just love the garlic bread very strong flavor of garlic if you are into that . The terimasu is nice and a large portions. I love that I habe been to this chain of restaurants in multiple locations and their food has been constantly the same quality and experience which is nice to know what you're getting.

My server as well as chef Michael were Nothing less than AMAZING! I have food restrictions and he came out and spoke to me personally to create a dish that was deliciously perfect for me to eat- He showed our whole family more love than any customer service I’ve had in a long time - he even treated the little ones with fresh chocolate chips - our server was so kind and patient and over all the experience was perfect!

Quickly becoming my favorite Italian restaurant in Louisville. The Shrimp Fra Diavolo is a must for me and the Chicken Cannelloni is a family favorite.

We just ate at hurstborne location and Shane was our sever he was awesome very attentive and had the food out fast to us . We also noticed him cleaning and Catering to other tables the same way . Had a wonderful personality he gets 10 stars ⭐️

My and my cousin heard about this place and were really looking forward to trying it. The atmosphere is nice and the aesthetic is good. However it took a very long time for someone to come to our table. Service needs major improvement. We were basically ignored because we were a party of 2 not a large table which may be because they didn’t see us as a large pay day. Especially with the price tag of this restaurant I expected more paying $30 plus per meal. Even after we vocalized our concerns very nicely they still pursued to continue the same time type of service. As we left we were given a discount but we felt they could’ve corrected the issue with service instead of just slapping a discount on. Wish we could’ve had a better experience our first time here

Excellent like always 👌; We have been in their Indy locations but our 1st time en Louisville branch was great; and for 1st time the Chef visited our table, made Excellent suggestions and all his Staff were so friendly & united to participate in different birthdays' celebrations around their beautiful decorated restaurant...definitely truly recommended 👌🤩

Great food and atmosphere. Our waitress was amazing. They do need to bring back more if their entrees. The ones with shrimp. I'm allergic to chicken. The sauces need a little more Italian taste, less tomato. Will definitely eat there again. Like the end of this month.

Had to get our own plates off other tables. Chicken Parmesan came without pasta of any kind; surprised us. Never had chicken park w/o pasta. Not a bad experience, but expected better as compared to other Buca's.

Very cute little restaurant. The waitress was very sweet and checked on us often. She helped with menu items and food was hot and very delicious. Service was very quick and was very satisfied

Spend $150 on three dishes with 1 side. The calamari was undercooked and two of the main pastas were only halfway filled and supposed to feed 3 people each. We had 6 people thinking we had ordered more than enough for everybody, knowing that Buca’s is known for their large portions, and between all these dishes it still wasn’t enough for everyone. It’s ridiculous that they charge so much and don’t even give you the amount of food you paid for.

I love hanging out with my band crew here. The food was amazing, the atmosphere is only a 4 star because Eli ate all the bread.

Everyone here is so nice the food is outstanding for example the Alfredo fettuccine and the chicken Marcella is delicious and almost taste exactly how my mom makes it . When you fist get the sweat tea it is not sweat so I suggest putting one pack ( or more) of each of the pink sweat n low and regular sugar and it’s perfect at least to me but one other thing is that when they pour more of something they don’t add more ice into your drink but other than that it’s delicious and I recommend it 100%
