If you like fried chicken served with a side of sass then you will enjoy this place. I ordered the wing plate with greens and potato wedges along with a slice of lemon cake. The food was average so I do not consider it the best fried chicken. The chicken could have been fresher. I visited the restaurant while on vacation August 2021. The female serving my food was bringing too much sass and seemed argumentative. I would not visit again.

Definitely a sketchy area. A lot of crackheads in the area, so be careful. Wings were great! Perfect spice and juicy. They were small. Paid $8 for 6 with a roll. So not a great price, but not terrible.

I love spicy food and I love Indi’s but I have Crohns…. And can’t eat too much of it. But I do eat Indi’s like once a month.

The fried chicken at Indi’s will be the best thing they sell. It is perfect. The fried chicken homemade, taste homemade and they even have a spicy option which has the perfect amount of heat. The side items aren’t too much to write home about so I get mine from Chicken King. Be sure to avoid the chicken tenders as they’re extremely small but definitely get a sweet tea if you enjoy true southern sweet tea.

This chicken is always good. The wings are not on steroids, and their sides have a good taste. The rib tips were tender and good. They also have the best pink lemonade. I don't get to go often because it's not one close to where I've. The only thing is you have to have cash.

What can I say Indis has some of the best spicy chicken in Louisville, my mouth just watered thinking about it.

The food was good. I ordered the regular but it did have some spice to it. I would recommend if you like spicy food. The photo wedges where especially spicy.

I waited for 17 years and it was worth the wait! They even upgraded the sides and I was able to try the greens. Very good. My only complaint is that they did not offer the hot sauce. I remember the little souffle cups of hot sauce. The staff was very friendly and appreciative.

I was going to a BBQ where I knew that they wouldn't have gluten free and dairy free options. I got greens and yellow vegetable rice. Temperature of the food was hot and very flavorful. Everyone including the patrons, were friendly 😊. I have never had a bad experience here.

I tried a number of things on the menu and have loved everything. They're drive through only now and though the line is always long, they're fairly quick and never screw up your order. Quick and friendly and tasty every time.

We sat outside and ate. Everything came pretty quick and all the food was good. We on also had food to take home and that don't ever happen cause my husband loves food

Great Restaurant Great Potato Wedges It's a toss up ,one in the East another in the West. Both have GREAT FOOD.But I love their Potato Wedges, hot,and their Chicken is just a little. Spicer. (God I am Tired of Pizzas ) It is nice to a have two good Choices

The chicken was old. Not many sides, maybe 3 if that Don't go after 6. I was just hungry that's the only reason I stayed . i won't make that mistake again, this used to be one of the best Indies in the city, but they have drastically gone down the toilet. For my money I would go to the one on 3rd Street Road

Spent way more than the food was worth. The sides are small for the price. The small wings were old and was so dried out there was no meat on it. Went once definitely won’t go again. I hate wasting money .

You know it's good. Why are you wasting time reading this review? Go get some chicken, wedges, okra, catfish, greens, and maybe something sweet or some mac&cheese

The Rib tips, greens, sweet potatoes, and the rice were Great!! The meat had a very good flavor to it without having to use BBQ sauce. You could really taste the hickory smoke flavor in it ! I will be going back there again and patronize the business more often

Indi's Chicken has been a Louisville staple for great Chicken since I was a little girl. On this trip I got a thigh, mild, Mac and cheese, and greens. The thigh was huge, and the sides were great. I was there at lunch time, the service was fast and friendly. I'll definitely be returning. Keep in mind they only accept cash, but they do have an ATM in store in case you only have your card. Great experience!

If you know... you know. It is the type of food to hurt your stomach but you keep eating it bc it is so good. They need to make their own ranch though bc the packets they have are terrible and do not do them justice. Plus, with that spice level, you just need a good ranch. I feel like they used to make their own. I would pay double for homemade ranch.

We looked up if they were open and it said 12-5Am when we got there it was closed. I even tried to call but it when to the voice mail but it said it was open so we went there but its a scam but I have tired there food it’s pretty good 👍🏽

I want for the first and last time today. I person serving and working as a cashier. The food was not worth the wait. Chicken not seasoned, the potatoes were too hard. Appeared to be battered in water and coating. They need to close down.

I keep reading reviews sayin the place is clean. You don’t go here for the cleanliness. You go for the chicken. The cleanliness is below average. There are chicken bones all over the parking lot. And they close the restroom after a certain time.

OMG the food is so friggin good!!! I got the shrimp dinner with greens potato wedges and macaroni and cheese. The best the absolute best . I just wish the cane run road location would reopen.

If you are in Louisville KY visiting or going to KFC Yum Center check this place out. They serve more on a Sunday meal hot table of foods. They are really good and the price was fabulous 👌 👏 👍 😍
