I just want to give a quick shout out to the employees at the White Castle on the corner of First & Market! The food was hot, bagged properly, presented properly, everything was there... It was just the perfect experience. People jump on to complain but I'm jumping on to thank them. Simple things like folding the bag over to close it aren't done anymore. They did everything right. Not sure who was working but it was today at about 10am. Thank you all!

Not a well run business at all. Dining room was closed so my friends and I had to stand in the drive through at 11pm, and we waited for an entire hour to order, because it seemed to be that there were about three, maybe four people working in the whole place - it actually could’ve been two. So we waited an hour in the light rain and made a big order, but the worker got it completely right and was not frustrated or anything, surprisingly, so I was satisfied with his work. The reason I’m giving it four stars is because of how iconic, simple and satisfying their meals are. I would personally love to come back and get more of anything. My friends interpreted it as absolutely horrible and do not want to ever come back, understandably, but it was an unforgettable, interesting experience that’s definitely a story to tell, and I can appreciate simple good food, even if it’s probably absolutely terrible for you and very low quality - they make some good fast food that I would definitely choose over many common fast food options like McDonald’s or Wendy’s if I had a White Castle near me (assuming the service is fast, cause I’ve never waited longer to get a meal before).

Great service. Especially great given this seems to be the only place to get food or drink downtown after 1-2. Great find after a long search. Extra stars for the fountain mixed Big Red. Check it out. Highly recommend.

Absolutely horrifying. This location is the dirtiest White Castle I've ever been in. The men's bathroom was scary bad. There is a needle on the floor, feces on the wall and stall doors. The floor is sticky and terriblely dirty. The smell was atrocious. Trash was overflowing. Now for the food, we purchased the 2 breakfast sandwich combo. Eggs were under cooked and greasy, The toast was barely toasted. The bacon, or lack thereof was super limp and also greasy. The only saving grace was the woman who took our order. She courteous but all business.

I had one of the best customer service experiences during my last visit. I had placed a pickup order and when I arrived the dining room was closed and I was told to stand in line with the cars in the drive-thru. A few minutes later a gentleman walked out through the rear staff entrance and said his manager told him to bring me my food and that I didn't need to wait. I was willing to follow the rules and wait but very much appreciate this extra effort.

I go here often & the staff is always fast and friendly. My family and I went here for valentines last night & they really went all out. Great place & great people! <3

First experience at a White Castle and overall it was fine... Stopped by for my first visit to a White Castle on a trip from Tx to Ohio. This location looked promising but once I was in the door I regretted it. Nearly every table was filthy, it wasn't that busy and yet the somewhat large staff of workers still seemed overwhelmed. As for the food, it was also just fine. I had three little burgers and fries. Asked for the burgers without onions, which they were, but since the flat-top grill always has onions on it the flavor was still there. Not the end of the world. I like onions, just not on a burger. The meat was a gray, boiled meat color that was unappetizing but also has a comforting, kids microwaved burger quality. Nothing I would rush to try again but I'm glad I got a chance to check it out.

Service was great- speedy, friendly, & accurate! Tried the impossible slider. Needless to say it was underwhelming. Glad to see they had a meatless option, but it could use some seasoning or sauce.

Got White Castle during my recent Louisville visit. Wanted to take some to my BF, but decided to do so on the drive home. Stopped here, no wait, fast and friendly service. And food was still warm 2 hours later. We had some last night .. 20 seconds in the microwave, and still quite tasty. White Castles in our area are long time closed, so it's a treat when I'm traveling and see one. Not my everyday diet, but so good when I go.

On September 10 at roughly 1-2AM. The girl at the drive through was extremely rude. Not only did she keep repeating “speak up” in a condescending tone she had us waiting 20 min for a simple order of 3 sliders. She was unable to communicate properly for a very simple order. She also stated that lettuce and tomato couldn’t be added to sliders. Then, she proceeded to be even more rude stating we didn’t need to call the sliders “sliders” and that we should call them sandwich’s. Also she mentioned that there is only one singular fish item when several are listed on the menu. She made the ordering process unnecessarily difficult. Not only that 3 sliders shouldn’t take 20 extra minutes. She needs retraining or to be fired. An attitude that bad honestly can’t be fixed. She was skinny with a purple headband and glasses.

Finally moved to a state that has White Castle! Haven’t had White Castle in 8 years since leaving NJ. Oh the joy I felt walking in and smelling those delicious little burgers, the stank attitude of the workers, and getting my order back slightly wrong. Everything was just as I remembered. I’ve never been so happy to get such terrible customer service in my life. I truly missed White Castle…. 5 STARS!!!

White castle is a unique experience! These slider size burgers are pretty damn good! I got regulars cheeseburgers and doubles and enjoyed them all! The service staff was a little tired, so they were not so attentive. I feel for them, but the process with long. The building was clean, but tired inside and out. Still worth the trip

Sorry, coffee was cold & service was poor. Short of help and the wait was long for an order of 12 sliders & coffee. I love White Castle and am sorry for the problems they are now having.I will still visit anyway .Hope for problem solution.

Sorry to say this, its dirty. I understand you run a tight labour, but you need to invest in cleaning. The place was dirty to a standard I would expect from football pitch toilets, it was yuk

My absolute favorite White Castle in the world. Never been here during the day unless you count 2 am as day. While it is over flowing with others out for similar late night sustenance it has a chill laid back vibe. Great place.

Used the app. To order 3 loaded fry's and a crave case, 15 cheese sliders, 15 jalapeno cheese sliders. Waited 30 minutes before going to pick up my order. Went thru the drive thru, told the order my name and that I had an in app order. Was told to pull up. 25 minutes later I finally received my food. I asked why the delay, I was told they don't cook the order until you are there to pick it up. So the app is useless to use. Then when I got home, they didn't include the 15 jalapeno cheese, they put 15 sliders with hot pepper cheese instead.

This was our first experience with White Castle. I don't know if they are all this gross or this one is just neglected. The dining area was dirty. The sliders were soggy and did not taste good. I'm pretty sure the ones in the frozen food isle of your local Walmart would taste better than these "fresh sliders." Is the meat supposed to be gray? It was truly the most disgusting eating establishment I've ever entered.

We ate at this white castle many times, A+. Each time we chose to use the Drive-Thru. A pleasant voice would take my order wanted some fast food, maybe burger, chicken fries, and shrimp. The fried shrimp was heavenly. The gentlemen and ladies’ workers create the juiciest American fast food. I normally get heartburn but not here. The best part was the after taste. The worst part is I live 721 miles to the nearest white castle.

Order was complete and accurate. Food was as expected and tasted fresh. Fairly long wait in the drive-through for the short line. Might have been short-handed. Otherwise standard White Castle experience.

As good as it get. I live in Florida, they have one White Castle in Orlando with wait time of over 90 minutes. Each and every time I come home to Kentucky I visit White Castle at least once a day. Love the Bologna and egg slider, fried clams all day, any day. But my favorite is double cheese burger with brown mustard (on the side packets). Oh yeah the Big Red soda. Getting hungry writing this. Love them.

Drive-thru after Jack Harlow it was cold out, long line and this dude served with a smile. I was so happy that he was in a good mood and services were so good and fast. I will go back

Always crave white castle, but this morning I stopped for coffee. While waiting for my order, one crew member had mentioned to me a previous customer had ordered some food and forgot to take it with them. The kind crew members allowed me to take that order and give it to some folks down the street who were in need. Much appreciated and grateful they didn't throw it in the trash. Thank you!

My visit happened on a Saturday night at about 130am. I have to say that this is THE best white castle I have ever gone to. The live was long but moved quickly. The woman at the cashier was the nicest! And my food was exactly as I asked. At a time when good service has become but the trademark of most places they are on top of the game!

We went through the drive-thru and received very good service. We weren't as impressed with our Origin White Castle. We felt that the hamburgers were thinner and had less onions than the last time we had them.

Went through around 9:30 at night, went thru drive thru, which was very slow. I assume they are short staffed. My drink didn't taste right, lady at the window fixed it, but didn't bother to put the lid on all the way. The food was hot and fresh tasting, even the fries, I was surprised

I did an order on the white Castle app which told me pickup would be at 6:20, I arrived at 6:22 and didn't get my food until after 6:30. They first rang my order up for the person behind me. I went ahead and payed for that and the manager came to the window and stated she realized the girl rang up the wrong order. I payed for mine. Still waited another 5 - 10 minutes. Cars in line were honking and leaving. Got back to the hotel and the order was still wrong. This could be just a one time issue but when I first arrived I was the only car in line. When I left there were 7 more. I appreciate the workers and understand in the world we live in everyone is doing there best so I give it a 3.

Went through the drive thru 6/13, waited a good while. Placed my order got to the window and no one was there. Finally after another wait, a very nice lady apologized for my wait, explaining that the young man who took my order had experienced an allergy attack and had to leave. Told her no problem. She then gave me a small drink for my wait. Could not have been nicer under the circumstances. And my White Castles were piping hot!! Employee numbers on my receipts were 669 and 1100.

Late night cravings, White Castle hits the spot every time. Got the 30 crave pack, 10 cheese, 10 traditional, 10 jalapeño. Sides of fries, onion rings and a shake for the ride home. Mm Mm, satisfied 5 peoples craving with some left. Nothing like cold W/C when ya wake up. Fast service even though the line was long, hot food, order was right. Thanks White Castle. Oh, you gotta try their breakfast menu, real fried eggs, fried bologna, lots of goodies to start the day

White Castle's burgers are classic! I love the minced onions and super-soft buns. While my fries on the recent visit were room temperature, at best, I'm going back because normally they're hot, fresh, and you can't beat the price for any of the items separately, or as a meal.

I did the drive-through personally having not been there in years I was not going to just walk in. They did put in the honey mustard I asked for. However they didn't make my hamburgers the exact way I had asked for but did remember to take the pickle off, so that was nice even though they all need to ketchup mustard and extra extra onion. They also were very polite which made up for mess up.

Not often that you see a white castle. So I had to stop in to pick up a few sliders. Very nostalgic feeling seeing the actual store instead of having to buy them at the supermarket. I got the jalapeno sliders and they were just as I remembered them. A very extensive menu choice at the window. But I just got the plane sliders. It's open 24 hours, so you can get breakfast there as well. I didn't do that. I just wanted the sliders at lunch time. Had to heat them up when I got them back to the apartment, but they were still delicious, just as I remembered them.

My first time at a White Castle; have only had the frozen versions. Loved it. Fresh bread and perfect little bite burgers, just as hoped for. Delicious. Friendly staff were very nice, welcoming, and helpful.

My loaded fries were amazing. All food was warm, cooked to perfection. The line was long but always worth the wait when your hungry for white castles!
