So, I’ve been saying I was going to try Pizza Bar for the longest and I finally went...I gave them three stars because to me the pizza wasn’t all that great! I mean it was ok but for $5.50 a slice it could’ve been better. The decor was nice and it was clean so that’s brownie points with me 😄. The drink I had (LIT) was really good! Great customer service as well! Spinelli’s is better in my opinion though...

The Pizza crust is light and airy and thick. I call this Pizza inferior. ($4.00 for a slice of crust!!! Whew! It's basically bread with barely a hint of Pizza sauce and barely a whisper of cheese. It's highly salted with not much flavor. The atmosphere is electrifying with thumping music that makes you want to get up and dance! Service was quick and efficient.

For some reason, the order taker (who simply takes our order at the front and does not do any other work), expected a tip from us. Her work was about a minute, and as a person with severe food allergies, we asked if there were any allergens in the food. When we didn’t tip (we usually tip the waiter, not the order taker), the order taker threw a fit, complained to us saying that “really, zero dollars after I did all that” (referring to finding out whether there are allergies or not in my food), and then pushed our order number stand and napkins to the side and swiped the card. The fact that for me, a matter of life and death (my severe food allergies), is put at the hands of an order taker’s frustration and anger by us not giving a tip for a minimal task highlights how poor the customer service is here. Additionally, we waited about an HOUR for the pizza to arrive, which should not take that long for two simple pizzas. The place is extremely loud and the tables are extremely small. Would NOT recommend coming here at all.

I came here on accident when attempting to go somewhere else.. the bartender was nice but the pizza was gross. If I had to categorize what style of pizza it was I would say it is a step below kids bday pizza. I have no idea how they stay in business, maybe its the events/beer specials. I'm mad I walked through a wind tunnel to pick this pizza up that tastes no better than an off brand frozen pizza from the dollar store. Puzzles fun dome pizza. Skating rink pizza. Speedway pizza.

Pizza was generic, like Chuck E Cheese, but edible. Very thick, stale crust. Price was pretty cheap given the area...$19 for an 18 inch.

Margherita pizza and 2 draft beers. Pizza was really good. Fresh ingredients. Found this place after a day at Bourban & Beyond. Sat outside watching a group attempting to win a game of jumbo Jenga. Atmosphere on the street was lively.

Only place open late on Wednesday night. Except for TGIF which had an hour wait, but never texted me that I had a table ready. Pizza Bar had exactly 2 people working and were getting every hungry family in town for the basketball tournament. Did no one tell the local businesses that tens of thousands of people would be there Wednesday night and through the weekend? Anyway, the guy working the front nailed everything we could have asked for. He deserves a raise. He was exasperated at being so busy, but was honest about how long it would take for us to get our food and kept up with our drinks. I can’t imagine what the cook was going through. Anyway, great service, reasonable ($18) pizza and cold beer. Pizza was good, they just needed more staff. And c’mon Louisville, you are costing businesses money by not communicating how many people would be there. No place to eat downtown after 10pm. No fast food, all the bar kitchens are closed. Pizza Bar for the win!

We were having a day trip I loved the restaurant, however as tourists during a festival I don't think to visit a restaurant you should have to pay to patronize an establishment. I'm sure this hurt their business a little bit. We opted out of the festival and went to patronize here instead. I'd go again but they definitely need to rethink the street festival when it comes to the businesses that they affect.

The Staff Lamont and Ericka were extremely attentive to our group of 4 , we had the best experience here. Try the bee-sting sauce because it’s amazing. All in All A++ Food A+ service A+

The blonde bartender was awful!!! She said only pizza was what they had premade in the case and yet multiple people after us ordered specific fresh pizzas and she was rude to us every time we went to the bar! Horrible experience

Pizza was overpriced and not that great. It was good but we've had better pizza. It had a strong garlic taste. Service and atmosphere were great though.

Their pizza by the slice is delicious, quick, and perfect for eating and walking back to the hotel after a night out. Sauce is on point,my man had 0 heart burn. So smooth.

Got a very average slice of pepperoni pizza. Sat at the bar for a while without service. Mostly late night party people rolling in for food.

Was there the other night, blonde bartender was awesome. We felt awful for her being treated badly for doing her job.. we watched a woman hand her literally broken in half I.D and get upset because she politely explained she couldn't except it with the condition. We than watch the trivia man hound her for not taking his friends I.d. Alyssa ur were doing ur job and should never be downed for following the rules. Other than that had a great time wings and pizza were delicious and so were our drinks!!!!!

The bartender, Sydney, was wonderful and the cheese pizza we had was just crispy enough on the outside and super cheesy! We love the games and enjoyed the atmosphere!

Worst service I have ever had. I would not recommend wasting your time at the pizza bar. The blonde manager is very negative and unprofessional. She screamed and was swearing at the trivia host who was doing nothing wrong. It was an absolute terrible environment to be in while trying to have fun with friends. However, The trivia host was very nice and fun! I hate they treated him so poorly.

I ate there new years eve. Good location. But the service was slow and the pizza sucked. I have had better pizza from a gas station.

There was one very miserable woman at the counter for a line of literally 50 people while two DJ's danced and tried to amp the place up. It was so pathetic. This was on a Friday night also. The pizza was undercooked when we finally did get some. They should have had more people working at the counter. A few staff did nonchalantly come up and saw the chaos at the front but did nothing to help the poor girl working the front. Those guys should be ashamed. Never giving this place another chance.

There were 4 of us--we all had pizza and agreed this was the worst pizza we've had in a very long time. The pizza was very dry, so we requested some sauce to add. The server did bring it out, but it was out-of-the-refrigerator cold. Prices were high, quality low.

NO $10 cover charge, can't leave and come back without paying again. won't sell a whole pizza. $5 per slice. Would not recommend to anyone. pizza really is not great also.

I went to this pizza bar around 9. We ordered our food, and the person at the front seemed very nice. After we ordered, we sat outside and waited for almost an hour and a half. There were people far behind us who got their food before us, and their party was way bigger as they ordered around 5-6 pizzas. We then came inside because the woman who took our order started ignoring us. She made rude gestures and was rude to us even though we were just trying to figure out what was taking so long. I cannot rate the food as I am still waiting to receive my order, and do not know when it will come.

Pizza was kinda mediocre to be honest. Thinner crust but the taste was totally not there. It simply lacked flavor. Probably would try other options if went to visit again. Bartenders were nice and helpful, however.

Don't go for the ready pizza by the slice. My daughter wanted a slice of cheese pizza and we ordered a pie. I was trying to convince her to eat her slice so I took a bite. I was not impressed. It reminded me of DiGorno pizza. I was nervous about having bought an entire pizza. When it arrived it was FANTASTIC! The flavor of everything was completely different. It was definitely top ten pizza places I've ever visited.

Pretty average pizza. Average sauce and ingredients, a little bready for my taste. The service was good but they close crazy early for a downtown bar on a Friday. Pricy as is everything in downtown Louisville. I wouldn’t mind if it was off the chain good but if everyone else is closed they are good in a pinch.

On one hand I wanted something different other then cheese or pepperoni, but thank God I didn't get a whole pizza the single slices are very big! The pizza was soft and taste really good! No doubt I'm coming back with my family for a big pizza and some game play too.

Of all the places to go on 4th Street live, we enjoyed this place the most. Rolin, Rolin, Rolin was a great bartender!

Pizza bar was the first place I visited in Louisville. The bar selection was poor and the slices of pizza were not that good and over priced. You could go anywhere in Louisville and get better pizza…. and this place has pizza in the name. Given it was my first place I visited, I thought the prices were the usual but they were very much over priced after visiting more restaurants in the city. Lastly, we tried to play games at the establishment and the coin machine was broken and the bartender told us to go across the street to ask the other establishment for coins and come back. Overall, would not visit here- many better options on fourth street.

The operation manager, Mike C., was the most accommodating and friendly person you could ask for. This establishment is more than a restaurant and more than a bar. If you’re looking for small town service with a city environment then this is your place!

We had "the works" pizza without mushrooms and it was very good.

The service was extremely poor to start, then after waiting 20 mins for a slice of pizza the product we received was burnt to a crisp. The sauce was very uninspired and the crust tasted like cardboard. For a premise that has such potential I left feeling very frustrated and hungry. Next time I’ll get digiorno pizza.
