Will not return. There were 6 tables occupied in the entire establishment. Our server acted as if shed rather be anywhere else but work. When our food finally came out after a long wait, she brought it to the table behind us and placed it on their table. Then when they explained that wasn't their order she took it off their table and brought it to us. Now normally this would have been sent straight back however we had an hour drive home and we were tired of waiting so we kept it this time because we could see they didn't touch any of it. The food was under par. Not good at all. We each ate only a couple bites of our meals- the sweet potato was the best item on our table. But really, aside from the food, I can't stress enough how bad service was which was sad being they were so empty. Would not recommend.

Wanted to again thank the folks at Buckhead for a great dinner yesterday We had a large party of 18 for a family birthday celebration, and the whole experience, from reservations to seating arrangements to service and food could not have been better! Our server, Metro, was engaging and polite and all of our food orders were spot on, and he made sure we had extra plates and forks for the cake we brought. The food was great. The managers checked in with us a couple of times as well. Great job! Thanks so much!!

My wife and I recently visited Buckhead Mountain Grill for the first time. We were trying to figure where to go for dinner on a Saturday night and since we had been to David's Bridal the week before, Buckhead Mountain came up, so (hops in car, starts engines, drives to restaurant) we decided to go. When we arrived we were seated immediately in the bar section (we prefer high-top tables to booths). Our server was there almost immediately and took our drink orders. About 5 minutes later came those drinks and those amaaaazing rolls. Holy YOWZAH, those things are good! My wife ordered soup and I ordered a New York strip (my favorite cut), a baked sweet potato, and a Caesar salad. Food delivery took about 10 minutes, which was pretty good, considering we had the aforementioned rolls and my salad came out pretty quickly. The bar area is a pretty nifty place if you like craft beer (which I do) and sports (which I don't). There are probably close to 20 screens surrounding the bar area showing a variety of sporting events, television shows and commercials. The decor of the restaurant is rustic / outdoorsy, giving you a feeling of being in a cabin or a lodge somewhere out in the wilderness. A gaslight fire on one wall gives the establishment a cozy feel. When we got our meals they were delivered correctly. My wife's soup was hot, my steak was just a notch past warm, but not hot. The baked sweet potato was hot, but delivered with only whipped butter, while I was expecting butter and cinnamon sugar (because, I CAN, dammit!!). The description of the steak told me that this was going to be an end-all/be-all steak eating experience ("Enjoy superior-tasting cuts that melt in your mouth, seasoned and grilled to your liking."). To be honest they missed the mark on that one. Like I said, the steak wasn't hot, it was minimally seasoned, and didn't exactly melt in my mouth. In fact, for being a New York strip, it was a bit tough and required a bit of effort to cut and chew. After we were done it took near 20 minutes to get our check...a bit long. We had noticed that about 3 other parties self-seated themselves in the bar area, disrupting our server's work flow. All in all, not a bad experience. I was expecting more when it came to the steak than I actually got. I wanted to absolutely love Buckhead Mountain Grill. Maybe next time.

Poor experience at best, im not really one to complain however the food was cold. Some items had to be sent. STRANGEST thing ever they charged me 75 cents for item with my glass of bourbon. This place needs help. Consider going somewhere else.

Mediocre food with mediocre service. More of a place to come hangout over drinks with friends than to have a nice sit down dinner. They do have good drink specials throughout the week. The bloody Mary’s are subpar..

Ordered through GrubHub tonight and order was received on time. Order was correct but they were out of sauce for our fried green tomatoes and my portion of chicken was very small. I called to see about sauce and also why my chicken portion was so small. The manager Jennifer had OUTSTANDING customer service. She explained that because of the pandemic, some supply chains had to be changed and that portion sizes were different. She offered to get me another dinner and a different sauce with fresh fried green tomatoes. She was professional, friendly and fixed the situation in a timely and personal fashion, having delivered it curbside herself with a personal apology. I wish there were more managers out there like her. Her response alone is why I will order from them again and recommend to others. 5 STAR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

My 1st time here and I was very pleased with my food and the service I received from my waitress/server Sierra. My roast beef was so flavorful, tender and juicy. Sierra made sure me and my kids were satisfied and had a great experience being that it was my first time. Most definitely will be back.

Took 10 minutes to be seated and then another 10 for the HOSTESS to get our drinks. Once we finally met our waitress, who did a fine job, we got our food in about 30 minutes. Out of 4 plates of food 2 needed to be sent back for being severely undercooked. This place used to be awesome. I don't know what happened but it's not anymore. I hope it comes back full swing. I'd love to actually want to eat here again.

Great food and fantastic service. I've been the restauran business for over 20 years. I'd have Prentis as a server in any establishment I've ever worked in. This guy is a solid young man with a fantastic attitude. The salmon was a perfect medium. Truly a 5 star dining experience.

In the past we have enjoyed our meals at Buckhead. We return each year when we travel to town for Derby but tonight was awful. Six people ordering dinner. They weren't busy but we were immediately told that they didn't think they could seat us right away. Just looking in to the bar area we could see there were multiple empty tables. Once seated and the waiter didn't know what beers he had available even though I ordered one that the bar had posters displayed all over advertising it. He almost didn't take my order at all until someone else pointed out that I had ordered a beer. I ordered a salad as a side for my dinner, it was not delivered with the other salads but still they tried to charge me for it. He did not enquire if we wanted to order apps. It took over an hour to get out food (no one ordered anything incredibly complex) and the food was no where near fresh off the grill hot. My food qualified as warm but definitely not hot which tells me it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Someone else had a baked potato that was utterly ruined and they charged me for the apps when I did not order the apps. The manager did try to make things right but there was just so much wrong when we have always had a good dining experience there in the past.

One of the few chain restaurants I still love. They have a great Sunday brunch buffet.
