I really loved this place. There were so many unique and fun exhibits for all ages but I do wish the playground was larger and more varied. The exhibits are like smaller versions of your normal children’s museum. However I loved the plane landing simulation, hanging pool noodles, toddler area, and water area. There are three levels but the third is unnecessary in my opinion. For some reason I thought it would be the human body or something. Gift shop is small but has some cute stuff. People there are sweet and helpful and the elevator makes things easy. There’s a subway if you arrive hungry and they sell drinks In the gift shop as well as candy bars but you’ll be paying quite a bit more for them than normal as can be expected. The bubble exhibit was quite fun as well.

So-so visit. Many things were out of service and it was disorganized. Overall, it was just very underwhelming. There were not as many things as the website made it out to be and many of their displays were geared for a single kid at a time so there just wasn’t enough to do without waiting. It was also not “exactly science-y” more of just “experience zones” rather than a tradition science museum. The Energy Zone at the Cincinnati Children Museum was so much better. The best part was probably the 3D movie which you would have to pay extra for. The staff at the ticket counter was very nice though!

This was my son and I second time coming here and it has been wonderful! The only thing I wish was more employees involved there explaining the magic of science to my son especially since he wants to be a scientist. I wish parents would watch their kids better instead of letting them just run around and being rude, other than that it's a great place for a place for the kids to enjoy.

Great customer service! It was very busy but never did we feel rushed or pushed to move along lots for kids to do with hands on. Hand sanitizer was avaliable at every station. We enjoyed our visit and bought a membership to return many times through the year

It's a fun place to be specially for little minds learning & exploring about science and experience fun activities to do. I enjoyed the art section. We got some key chains made.

This place was awesome!!! Or kids were ages 5-9 and they went wild with all the activities inside this fun museum!!! I also saw tons of very small children and know my kids would have loved it at toddler age as well. I enjoyed it as an adult! Would definitely go back here!

It was great! Had my daughter and two granddaughters with me. A hands-on experience that was very entertaining and learning. The girls would have liked to stay longer! If you go, have to visit the maker center and create some art! My granddaughters suggest the smash art!

We love the KSC. It's the perfect size for a few hours of fun and learning. My kids are 3, 6, and 6, and there's plenty for them to do, but I see the ways the museum will grow with them too, especially as they begin to read more and to understand rockets/parabolas. We bought a dual membership to the science center and the zoo, which I highly recommend!

This place was awesome. My son didn't want to leave. We had a great time, and there's so much to do. We have to return soon to finish enjoying the museum.

Took my daughters and my nieces here a few days ago. My 4 yr old probably had the best time out of any of them. She LOVED the water exhibit. She could have stayed there all day lol. It was great for an activity to get the kids out of the house.

After we went to the Slugger Museum we walked over here to explore. Our two year old loved coming here. There are three floors to go through and each one had so many fun science activities to explore. I was impressed that they have a nursing nook on the first floor. (No, my son drinks regular 2% from a bottle FYI) just impressed they had this for those who are nursing. They do have family restrooms as well which were pretty nice. The two year old enjoyed the water spouts that moved yellow balls about. He also enjoyed looking at the long wooden bridge and playing with the cars on it. They so have a theater which will show documentaries or family friendly movies. We didn't see the theater. I recommend going and checking it out. It's a fun science center and great for kids as it's very hands on.

We purchased a membership as we enjoyed taking our children, that was until we finally made our way to the third floor. I couldn’t have been more disappointed and disgusted by the political and social garbage they are trying to push onto our children. Science is the only thing you should focus on, not brainwashing. We won’t be returning or renewing our membership.

The Kentucky Science Center is a great place to make memories! There's always interactive exhibits to enjoy and new experiences to have. I've been taking my family to the science center for years to share my love for science and the world around us!

Had a blast! The staff even made my daughter feel special on her birthday. Couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the cold day inside.

The kids had so much fun here! The fort building floor was absolutely a favorite but we were able to get away from the screens and really use our minds and imagination at every exhibit here. We came on a weekend and expected it to be a lot more busy than it was. There are so many floors that there’s just space for everyone! We will definitely be returning!

If you have a membership that gets reciprocity, do not buy your tickets online. Buy your tickets at the desk to get a discount! Please note that it's end of your field trip time so the mornings are very very busy but afternoons we had the place pretty much to ourselves! You can spend hours here!!!

My toddler had a good time but definitely not worth the price of admission. $60 for 3 adults that didn't learn anything remotely scientific. The 3rd floor is poorly put together. I used to be excited about going to the science center and I was excited to take my toddler but we will not be back. I'm being generous by giving the 2 stars cause the 1st floor was perfect for a 1 year old and the UPS exhibit was cool.

This is the place to be with kiddos of all ages. We do this with ages ranging from 5-10 year olds, but even us grown ups get in on the fun. Guest services are impeccable, staff is the most friendly and helpful. I have a membership and will keep it for all of my days, it's just the best.

This is a wonderful place for families with young children. Maintenance could be better of the varying areas and stations. Several things weren't functioning or turned off. Pieces were missing or could not be located. One improvement would be staffing to maintain order of exhibits. Pick up balls, pieces, and maintain order since so many things can be moved around. Additionally to assist with how things work to demo for kids. Otherwise a really cool place with awesome activities for kids.

Really great place to take your kids. Can be a tad pricey, but it's usually worth it if you manage to go on a less-busy day. Lots of activities and things to experiment with. A great way to spend the day. I'd recommend just getting the yearly pass. It pays for itself with 2 or 3 visits.

I’m going to be honest, I haven’t been to the KSC since I was a kid. I was maybe 10 last time I went, and I’m 24 now. I have my own kids too so figured let’s go check it out after all these years. We went 2-3-24 & I was quite disappointed to be honest. My kids had fun and we had a good family day, I can’t fully complain and say I didn’t have fun but they have downgraded in my opinion. My kids were 3, 5, and 10. I feel like there was just too much to read, I know that science is about reading but still. Also I feel they just tried to hard to make everything “interactive” but that’s the crazy part was it once was also interactive. I understand that things change through the years, but when I was younger they had an airplane that you could actually go inside of, and play as a passenger or pilot. There wasn’t just a UPS truck, they had an ambulance, a cop car, a little bus. We didn’t get to see the water exhibit on our visit because there was a line and we didn’t play in the play area just because there was a little crowd that way. I also remember just years ago when they newly introduced an exhibit showing a fetus and how it develops. That was the last time I went and they don’t even have that anymore. I would say this is still a great place to come and get out of the house, learn new information and make memories. I just wish they would maybe make some changes that are similar to what it used to be.

They’ve taken away all the exhibits on the third floor. It is now just a huge area with blankets and items to make forts. Loved the water area and the weather green screen but wish it was in an area where you could hear better. Overall, great time for the grands!

My family had a great time. There are different activities for little ones, toddlers and school age kids. The movie theater has great educational showings.

So much fun. While there are areas directed to younger and older children my child enjoyed everything!

I had a lot of fun here, even if it's mostly aimed at kids. My favorite section was probably the water cycle section with ball ramps showing precipitation and evaporation.

Our kids love it here! They do a great job of mixing in new exhibits while keeping some staple exhibits consistent. Bring another shirt for the kids to change into after they see the water exhibit! So fun.

The Science Center is a lot of fun for children and adults alike! They have several exhibits to make you use your brain to figure it out! All exhibits are geared for children to have fun, but also learn how something works at the same time! The Science Center is not only science, there are history exhibits there, and fossils of extinct animals! I would recommend the Science Center for All Families!

Great place to stop by walking downtown. Great exhibits. The front desk staffs are super nice. Coffee is better than Starbucks.

First 2 floors are super fun, the third was not very fun for the kids. Overall it is worth the visit and we will go back!!

This place is super cool! We came on a short weekend getaway, and we're glad we decided to go. One thing I must say is get there early because by noon it was packed. The parking was easy, convenient, and only $8. The first floor was the most exciting for us, with an almost 2 year old. My one complaint is the water area when it gets busy, it's super congested. It was probably one of the funnest areas, though. They have a big light bright that I couldn't get away from. There's so much to do! If you're in the city with kids and have some time, I highly recommend coming here.

Amazing place, if you are an adult probably it's not your place but if you have kids OMG they will have a blast! I recommend to go with children that can walk and play 😉

A decent children's museum geared primarily to age group 5 - 9. Sorely in need of care, updates, and upgrades but many of the activities were unique and interesting. The IMAX experience is excellent! Price of $28 each for non members is too much but a membership option would probably be worthwhile for a local family.

This has to be one of the worst science museums I’ve ever been to, even for children. I worked here while in college (years ago) and was sad to see nothing has changed - nearly half of the exhibits are broken and the ones that do work are fairly unimaginative and/or made of cardboard. It seems they tore out a number of exhibits since I’d been there instead of opting to fix them. This is an organization that has an executive salary glut (seriously, google their financials, they are public) and do very little to improve the place. Pretty sad. I wish they could do better, but it looks like they bleed money nearly every month.

In town for the day and was looking for something fun for the kids to do. They enjoyed the different exhibits and each could find a favorite thing. There is parking behind the center, but found out afterwards street parking was a lot cheaper if you are there for just a few hours.

Excellent learning experience for kids under the age of 12. A lot of the exhibits were out of order or not operational but the panda 3D movie was great!

I have three children under 10 and the science center has been a staple weekend activity for all of them. We often find ourselves going in the winter months. It’s a great way to spend a few hours win the family. My only complaint is lack of rotation on some exhibits. Actually I take that back. Another complaint. My favorite activity was the rocket station which has been removed. Bring back the rockets!!
