Went to visit for the Paranormal America exhibit, had an amazing time. The museum is free on Sundays but special exhibits still cost for non-members. Worth every penny though! I love this museum, even more so due to its accessibility. The Speed offers light folding chairs for visitors to take and use throughout the museum so that anyone can explore and at their own pace. Definitely go if you get the chance, every exhibit they feature is worth it.

Lovely collection of statutes, paintings, and much more. Loved the biblical paintings. There were so many different exhibits. Loved the hands on section downstairs too. Parking was a little sketchy, but they’re under construction.

One of the coolest art museums I’ve been too. I loved it. Well designed and interesting art. I’d be very fortunate to encounter more museums as well put together as this one.

I hadn't been to the Speed since I was a kid. My husband, my brother, his wife, my nephew & his wife and I all went for the last day of the Supernatural exhibit. I was so very pleased to find that this place is a first class museum. We will be back when we're in town. Sadly I didn't get to see everything , stupid Fybro, but I'm looking forward to pur next visit.

It was a pretty nice museum but I felt like there wasn't much to see for the size of the building. They currently have free general admission. It costs extra to see the special exhibit.

This place is great. It's a lot bigger than I thought it would be. There are numerous art pieces that are spectacular. The speed art museum is a must visit. On Sundays the general admission is free.

I'm glad we went on a free Sunday. Most of the museum seemed to be off limits because of roof repair. The European art was mostly off limits. It is a beautiful place. Just wish it was all open for our visit. We will try again in the spring.

The best art museum in Kentucky. It is an unexpectedly well-organized museum. You can also see the unique masterpieces of each culture. In the basement, there is a space where children can participate so that they can understand art. The parking lot was also easily accessible. It is recommended as one of the activities to do in Louisville.

Pretty nice art museum. Currently free on Sundays in 2024. Parking garage right next door. The cafe is not open at the moment. Looks like they have good stuff when it is. Worth a visit.

First time going. Took the kids. They have an interactive are for kids. And the whole place is massive. Free on Sundays. Free to Frontliners and students. Kid discounts. We had a blast and are definitely going back.

Phenomenal experience. Lots of unique art and representations from cultures around the world. I was in awe and could have spent hours in there! (Granted, boyfriend & I got lucky when it was very slow, so it felt relaxing & comfortable to go at our pace) I'm very eager to go back! Highly recommend!

This art museum is just amazing. The people at the front desk were all very social and nice, the paintings and art pieces themselves are stunning and even tho all of them have a name and a story behind them it doesn’t close the idea of giving your own point view about the art. They have a art interactive and it was amazing to be able to come closer to art by doing all the dynamics. Everything is well maintained and overall the service and staff are great. They have a big variety of art from all around the world and it’s very calm and quiet. This is a perfect place for a date with your loved ones specially if you love seeing some good art. ^^

Really enjoyable museum with great staff, plentiful parking, excellent selection of new and old art, in a beautiful building with a great café. We only had an hour but you could easily spend a whole day in this museum.

Stunning. Various pieces/artists' work. Free admission on Sundays. Large museum. Very large areas to walk in between rooms. Plenty of places to sit. Customer service at the front desk was great when we were there.

Admission was free and we walked right in and started absorbing the art. It was clean and welcoming, some of the art really stuck with us. There was a wedding going on(which looked beautiful) but it didn't disrupt anyone visiting the museum. Will come back with our kids!

Really lovely art museum and thoughtfully curated. I appreciated their nice mix of global art while also having a strong focus on Louisville-based artists and information. I especially loved the area dedicated to the Alma Wallace Lesch fiber art. And the Breonna Taylor artwork and accompanying info was well done and very moving.

I recently went to the Speed Art Museum for the first time to see their screening of the Black Barbie Documentary. It was a wonderful experience! I look forward to returning soon to experience more of the galleries!

I really enjoyed the after hours event Codeswitching by Sanford Biggers. The art installation was beautiful. The museum itself is a very nice venue. I'll definitely return.

Next level event space for big parties. Sleek and elegant with superb custom services. The staff got me all the way together on what I needed. Beautiful glass windows, clean and spacious.

This is a historic museum with a modern edition, that is absolutely fabulous. It totally runs in and has amazing art as well as movies and special events. A must-see when visiting Louisville Kentucky!

A small but nice one. The treasure exhibition is really awesome. For the oil painting, two stunning pieces are all in Room 23. Especially for the last figure, seems to be hearing the holy song when you staring at the paint. The Kentucky art was closed today.
