We
were
visiting
from
out
of
town
and
did
two
rooms:
The
Museum
and
The
Classroom.
There
were
three
of
us,
two
seasoned
and
one
with
just
a
few
other
escape
games
under
their
belt.
More
than
the
number
of
stars,
I
want
to
leave
a
thoughtful
and
informative
review.
I
can
tell
there
was
thought
put
into
the
lore
of
each
room,
but
it
just
seemed
disparate
from
the
puzzles.
Both
puzzles
and
story
on
theme,
but
separare
entities
within
the
space.
If
theme
is
your
thing,
then
I
wouldn't
get
too
excited
about
these
rooms.
They
have
cohesive
visuals,
but
the
atmosphere
isn't
very
strong.
A
few
props
to
invoke
the
setting
and
puzzles
that
include
elements
that
fit
the
theme,
yes,
but
most
of
the
wall
space
is
plain.
The
videos
before
the
games
are
fairly
generic,
and
any
story
that
the
room
tells
is
secondary
to
the
puzzles
rather
than
integrated
with
them.
Some
people
like
red
herring
puzzles,
and
some
do
not.
We
aren't
very
interested
in
them,
especially
when
they
are
multi-step
activities
that
lead
to
dead
ends.
It
gives
larger
groups
something
to
do,
but
it's
a
bit
of
a
bummer
to
work
one
step
out,
only
for
the
next
step
to
lead
nowhere.
The
puzzles
are
linrar-ish
but
not
so
straight
forward
as
most
we
have
done.
That
can
be
a
fun
challenge!!
But
a
few
times
we
needed
to
manipulate
the
furniture
or
open
something
that
didn't
seem
openable
and
those
cost
us
some
time
solely
because
we
wanted
to
respect
the
items
in
the
room
and
not
break
anything.
This
is
where
the
disattached
narrative
comes
in
-
if
there
was
a
story
beat
relating
to
the
object
we
needed
to
more
closely
inspect,
we
may
have
felt
more
confident
digging
deeper.
There
are
also
a
few
puzzles
that
require
waiting
-
which
isn't
our
group's
favorite
type
of
puzzle.
Discovering
a
number
to
punch
in
only
to
need
to
listen
to
a
60+
second
preamble
is
killer
to
the
mood.
Maybe
it
builds
the
anticipation
for
some,
but
we
like
to
immediately
move
to
the
next
puzzle
when
we
solve
one.
We
want
to
work
our
brains
for
as
much
of
this
hour
as
possible,
and
waiting
isn't
thinking!
Lastly,
in
the
Classroom,
there
is
an
input
device
that
does
not
always
register
the
buttons
pressed.
The
task
with
this
device
is
timed
-
on
a
failure,
you
start
over
again.
On
succeeding,
the
next
puzzle
appears
slowly,
taking
almost
a
minute.
We
knew
this
was
the
most
difficult
room,
but
that
makes
the
time-wasters
sting
even
more.
I
would
have
loved
those
extra
3
minutes
to
work
out
the
last
puzzle!
Both
rooms
were
entertaining
and
we
certainly
don't
regret
going!
If
you
are
interested
in
having
as
many
escape
room
experiences
as
you
can,
these
are
worth
checking
out
with
some
fun,
unique
puzzles
in
their
rooms.
But
if
you're
easily
frustrated
or
value
theme
above
other
elements
then
these
may
not
be
the
rooms
for
you.
