I love this place. It's a great place to escape everyday life. From the museum itself, which is amazing, to the back porch rocking chair sitting, the river veiw, they have pavilions and restrooms that are always clean, beautiful flowers located in the front of the building, walking paths and my personal favorite, a stairway that leads directly to the water. They also have family events such as trunk or treat, pioneers day, and other small community events to encourage the community to visit. It's great watching the sunset while my kids enjoy walking the banks and playing on the sand. During our last trip there, the stairs were completely emerged from all the rainfall. Yet, still very beautiful and peaceful.

drove thru, seems appealing, glimpse of river from parking lot, hot July Saturday, saw apparent workers or volunteers although looked deserted otherwise. Looked like a good hike n bike.

There's a lot here. There's a community garden, a picnic shelter a rental hall, an abandoned boat dock, where Spirit of Jefferson was supposed to dock, but rarely did, and walking/bike path on top of the floodwall which connects it to other nearby historic buildings. There's the restored main house, and the separate kitchen building. There's a what I guess is a demonstration "kitchen garden" showcasing heritage plants close to the house. There's a couple of spots where archaeological digs have been going on. And then there's the river view which is pretty nice. It's a nice place to walk around, enjoy nature, and maybe take tour of the house.

The old fashioned ice cream social was amazing. They had a petting zoo, train rides and horse rides all free. They had vendors set up with food and ice cream. Had a live band. Definitely a good time.

Wasn't intending on going to the landing at first. I came here to run some of the Louisville loop. But decided to have lunch on the banks of the Ohio. This is probably one of the most peaceful places that I've visited in a long time. I'm happy that it's in my city. If you need some place to go for a good quiet time, then this tops them all.

I wal here frequently. There is a paved road leading to a small chapel.(closed). Then there is part of the Louisville loop to walk or ride a bike. Around the visitor center is a path leading to old house where there are periodic tours by folks dressed un period costumes. Nice grounds. Near Ohio

Very chill little park with a Louisville loop marker. Historical archaeology and Ohio river just down the hill. Great place to go walk around or bike.

My husband and I love going to Riverside Farnsley Moorman to hop on the Louisville Loop and ride our bikes. Beautiful, well-kept property that has a beautiful garden taken care of by volunteers. Everyone we've met there is friendly and keeps an eye out for mischief. Never experienced any issues there.

Went for Ice Cream social cultural pass event. It was wonderful. Had a free train ride and historic tour around. Ice cream was $7 and was worth. Highly recommended

A wonderful historic site of what life was like early Louisville. Active archaeological dig within the confines of the city. This is a great place to learn about history and how early settlers lived in early America.

My kids (6 and 10) and I really enjoyed the 1-hour tour of the grounds and house. Our guide Theresa was amazing and clearly a dedicated historian who loves her job. I learned many new things. The visitor center and grounds are free to explore, but a tour costs $10 for adults and $5 for kids/students. Well worth it, in my opinion!

Such in interesting place along Ohio River tucked way back out of main thoroughfare. Lots of great family history dating way back to pre Civil War days. Lovely ground. Worth the extra drive.
