One of my favorite local parks. Amazing spot to forage for 🍄 and bike!

Quiet, beautiful, familiar place. I love it!!

This was my family's first time visiting. We wanted to kill time before our tour with Waverly Hills Sanatorium. The park was very busy with get togethers, so we didn't really get to utilize the park on this day. We did enjoy the beautiful pond and just being in nature. The temps that day were perfect!!!

Beautiful area. Quiet and clean. Pond is amazing for fishing. Wonderfully shaded in most areas. Dog park is spacious. Located at the end of the Park Drive turnaround there is where the new dog park is located. Beautiful shaded and open!

Had the dog run all to my shelf. Cooper had a good time exploring the area. Paths where clean an well maintained.

Great mountain bike trails! Well maintained and just a lot of fun. Pretty park. So many cute dogs being walked!!

Quick hikes around the playground loop and the lake. Great sounds and sights of nature. The only problem is there is a lot of trash along the lake along with dog feces lying about.

Beautiful place. Secluded small park with a wicked lake. Whether you visit it the summer or fall the photos are going to be astonished.

We just came from fishing. We didn't catch a thing but the kids had a good time knowing what patience is. Park is pretty clean and people are very friendly, one even came up to help us since we've never fished before. Kids playground is good for any age.

Always a great place to walk the dogs. And I just found out they have a dogs park

Great little spot to unwind. Get close to nature while still close to everything else. Clean. Quiet. Open bathrooms are a plus also if you have little ones. They also have a fishable pond, freshly stocked, and a nice playground.

Great park with awesome mountain bike trails! Lots of flowy trails with jumps, drops, and some technical areas as well. A little bit of everything here, Including fishing in the pond.

The amenities here are great, and there are a variety of trails to choose from. The pond is always beautiful, but most especially when the leaves are changing in the fall.

Came here with my niece and nephew. They liked seeing the ducks and turtles. My husband and his brother were fishing 🎣 but they didn't catch anything. Overall it's nice to play and walk around with the family.

Beautiful park with rustic playground, gazebos, pond, hiking and enclosed dog park. My kids love playing here and sense it's secluded there's not much traffic and very far from main roads so it's much safer for kids to be kids. It has a picnic table and benches next to the playground that are great to bring lunch and a hiking trail right beside the playground. So when we get tired of the playground and want to get messy in nature we take a hike. It's not to hilly for my 3yr old either.

It's such a beautiful little park. It has a nice sized little pond to fish in and plenty of trails if hiking is your thing. Also, places to sit down and have a picnic. Very nice place.

Have mostly spent my time here at the dog park. Usually the only people there but we do run into other dogs from time to time. They have a two gate system to get in to help lessen the risk of them getting out without you. The little lake is beautiful and there are always people fishing or walking. Lots of good trails to hike or bike. There's a kids playground that seems pretty active as well. Went to the bathroom last time I was there (in between the park and the lake) and it was a bit dirty but that's understandable. Glad there was T.P. and soap.

Great park! Very clean, no crime, excellent location. I've been going to this park for 50 years. It's always been a good place for family. It's better now than ever! Beautiful job! Take you bike, fishing pole, hiking gear, kids playground, picnic shelters and open area tables. Trust me, one of Louisville's best parks. You won't regret it.

My go to spot to catch bluegill and small bass. My daughter can fish and have a great time. It's clean and has plenty of fishing areas around the pond for chairs and equipment.

The scenery can be serene during Spring and beginning of Fall. A nice size pond stocked with your typical KY pond fish: bluegills, sunfish, bass, catfish and trouts. I like coming here to relax and reflect, however much they stock the pond, it just seems like nothing but the bluegills are biting.

This park is pretty nice for its location fishing, hiking trails, playground, restrooms, picnic area with fire pits. Ducks are adorable always enjoy going to this park. I definitely recommend. Seen some trash my last visit but it was a first .

It's a nice small park on the South End of Louisville. The lake is great for fishing, but it stays pretty busy. Several hiking and mountain biking paths, but it is at the top of a large hill, so biking can be pretty tough if your not conditioned right.

Beautiful I come nearly every day with my dogs. Lots of trails, short and long and VERY long. Great fishing also 👍

I love how tucked away the park is, and how quiet the park was when we visited. The trails are nice, and the playground was pleasant as well. The drive up to the park is a little anxiety inducing, but if you don't look over the side it's no big deal. If you enjoy the view being up high, you will love it! We saw a young deer munching on some food on the way up the road.

Peaceful sanctuary and a very busy part of town. First recommendation for anyone that's needing an escape into reground themselves. Beautiful trails decent fishing and a play area for the fur babies.

It was a beautiful day with dear friends. Nice dog park area. Some of the park could use some trash pickup. It's a shame people can't clean up after themselves. We'll definitely be back though! Gorgeous spot!

Very lovely park, has trails and even a dog run! Fishing as long as you got your license. Great for family trips or dates!

Was surprised about this hidden gem. The park is clean and there were quite a few people walking with their kids and dogs. Was able to walk around the lake and just enjoy the weather. Will recommend.

Always a good place to go to just get away from the every day, ya know? My daughter and I fish some times well mainly I'm ducking and diving cause she is only 3 but going on 30 and knows everything about fishing , to hear her tell it.she plays on the play ground a bunch too, and that's when I thank the man up stairs for all his blessings ,(my children,the park,etc).Waverly is a nice park kinda in its on little hollar...good lookin parks department....A+++
