This is one of my favorite parks to run. Very clean and well kept. Soccer fields are top notch and maintained well. The restroom is usually clean which is a huge plus compared to other park restrooms I’ve observed. The paths are beautiful and provides a wonderful experience whether you’re running, walking, or taking your dog for a walk.

I've had 2 scary and frustrating encounters with your park ranger who told me his name was Buddy. He was so aggressive with me on both encounters that I asked him to call the police because I'd rather speak to the police than to be yelled at by him so aggressively. He was so aggressive that I felt like he was looking for a physical fight with me which is why I wanted him to call the police to speak with me and I would have called the police on him if he wouldn't have left me alone. I don't feel comfortable going back to Pope Lick Park ever again which is where I used to host free soccer camps for children for 3 years (without being charged to use the facilities) and where I used to play soccer as a child and referee soccer games for over 10 years. I have been training soccer players at that park for over 15 years without needing a permit. In both encounters I was providing one on one soccer training to a soccer player on the Public Field that has a huge sign that says "PUBLIC FIELD. NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED." And the sign into the park says it's open from "DUSK TO DAWN."

Wish people would clean up after their dogs. There are signs posted that says no dogs on fields but people still have dogs. If doing that just pick up after them. Please

This park is amazing park. A lot of work has gone into it and funded through donations from individuals. As we understand it. The people on the drive were very friendly and although I had a flat tire we still had opportunity to meet people as a stop by to ask if we need a help. A great place to go for miles and miles and smiles and smiles.

The entire park is about 40 miles long. There is a paved trail for biking, walking, running that will take you through absolutely beautiful country scenery: farms, forests, hills and fields. There are also numerous off-road trails for hiking and cycling. I could go on and on about this place. It is truly one of our community's great assets. Bit of a drive from central Louisville, but well worth it

Came to Pope Lick for the summer “Creature Feature” event and checked out the park as well. Beyond the urban legend this park is known for, the park itself is really beautiful. Wild flowers bloom along the entrance and display a bouquet of color. The park grounds have a lot of trails and signage clearly marks the routes. There is a nice park map which also helps navigate the large area Pope Lick covers. Soccer fields and ample parking make this an ideal spot to visit and host fun events like the one we attended. Plan to come back and explore more. (Just maybe not near the train bridge after dark)

This has become our family's go-to park in the area. The trails are beautiful and well-defined. Plenty of wildlife to gawk at if you're into that sort of thing. A generous amount of parking as well with direct access to the Louisville Loop.

Multiple soccer fields, a couple of nice trails for hiking, Louisville loop access, & of course, floyds fork creek. Great place for walking/hiking, riding bikes, or fishing.

Great place to go for a walk, run or bike. The whole path is well paved with adequate space. Parks are also connected to if you’re planning a long distance bike or run, this is the place for it. There are sections that are closed so make sure to check for updates before heading out

What a treat. We have a great park system with trails for everyone; paved, gravel, dirt, easy or difficult; it's your choice. Play to play and run. So, get off that couch, get out of that easy chair, put on your tennis shoes and some apply a little sunblock, and hit the trails. It will improve your health and your attitude while you're enjoying GOD'S creation.

We love this park, but the construction is ruining it! The equipment is blocking the ability to see traffic coming out. And going into the park is sometimes at a standstill because of the equipment. I think we'll pass on Pope Lick until all the construction is done. Too bad.

This place is absolutely terrifying and scary at night. Me and a couple buddies went ghost investigating here. And got some really really good evidence. There's a girls shrine there her name is Savannah. We actually got to talk with her spirit there and a few others that lost there lives there. We asked them how they died and the voices said the demon made us. One said the goat man did it. I then asked what is the goat man someone replyied. And said it's a demon another came through our spirits box and said the devil. Well we continued to investigate throughout the night. When I started seeing yellow eyes everywhere. A voice told me to leave the demon is here. Then we started to get a demonic voice through our spirit box replying to our questions. And that's when things got really terrifying. I was then physically attacked. I had scratches down my back and I asked who did this. The girl Savannah came through and said the demon did it and she said leave please. Well I didn't and that's when I was pushed on the ground and felt this sharp pain go down my spine. And this terrifying laugh came through our spirit box. I'll never forget that laugh and I asked why or what did this. And a person's voice said the demon did it and then the demonic voice came through and said I did this hahaha. Then one of my friends wanted to go up by the tracks. All of sudden all the spirits at once came through the spirit box and said don't do it. Right at that time the train came across the tracks. It was the scariest moment in my life being attacked by something I can't see. If your looking for ghost and spirits I highly recommend this place but be careful.
