Absolutely an amazing hike. I took the concrete path up and back down but went back up the quick/steep way back up. Two treks up and downโ€ฆ. Is a lot, needless to say. The hike is truly beautiful. It was a nice cloudy day but once I got up to the overlook, The overlook today was beautiful.

This place is incredible for walking and sharing moments with family or friends. However, I feel that the route has not had enough attention and needs to be cleaned up.

Beautiful trail. Its about a mile and a half long. You can not get there by car. You can see the downtown skyline from there. Lots of places to rest if you need too. Great place to go for a hike and enjoy mother nature. No restrooms on the trail. Very dog and kid friendly.

It is a beautiful place to be and a even better place to bring loved ones. It would be even better if they hired me. I've been trying to work here for years and change things for the better. The trials need to be cleaned and cleared of spiders and ticks. I almost got bit over a thousand times so never go in the woods at night without a light and proper foot gear. The Fence was a waste of time to put up and the look out use to be taller. Money wasted and I could have made it a lot better. 1 million dollars gone to waste. It's not 1 bathroom up top so please go before you make that long trip. Roads are bad be careful driving walking or skating. I love the park and want to make it better for all that comes. I am native American myself and why not be a part of a great place you know.

You may not be able to drive up the complete way because the gate still blocked off but the walk which is about one and a half miles is worth the trip once you reach the top taking a nature trail to the Overlook

Excited to see the nice layout stairwell to the top familiar look out point! Nd that the gate is temporarily removed to the walking path. Too bad the tree tips are ever reaching over a standing eyepoint view.

This was a nice place for an overlook. The overlook was perched above the city and gave a nice view. However, there are a lot of trees, so itโ€™s not completely open. Thereโ€™s were many hikers and bikers, so I felt completely safe when going solo.

The overlook is sooo pretty. Although I didn't have my professional camera, I still came out with decent photos. There are parking spaces near the overlook so you don't have to walk very far, unless you would like to walk all the way up. The view was great as we could all see the skyline and the tall buildings. It's definitely worth the walk to get there. I recommend going at sunset.

Took about an hr at a steady pace up and about 40 min back down. Paved and very accessible. Perfect for a relaxed walk to get some fresh air. Incline isn't too steep or overwhelming. Plenty of places to stop. Only downside is that there is no access to any bathroom... at all...

With the road closed the cars, it was a lovely and not too difficult to walk to the top. Really worth it.

Metro parks are doing some kind of light thing which was interesting. But at $35 a car load ,Not worth it since I was traveling by myself.. Seemed disorganized.. All I wanted to do was go to the top to watch the sunset. Was not allowed to...
