Great huge park , had my son bday party here and a couple family members followed suit . It’s tucked away but it’s awesome and has everything you could want in a park . Hills, trees, open land to run around. Park, baseball/kickball field and basketball court . Plenty of grills and tables with enough space for multiple families to gather without interfering with each other

A very lovely park. It's always so clean & I love the landscape itself. Small hills, some open areas without trees for direct sunlight or there are also more shaded areas as well. A great place, pretty much any time of year, for just about any activity under the sun. Also has a guest center at the top of the hill where bathrooms are located I'm told. I did see the building, however, I didn't check out the facility myself.

Beautiful park! Didn't even see 1/3 of it. We weren't prepared and it was miserably humid out. Definitely going back very soon!

Nice and clean. Lots of shade to stay cool on hot days, also they have a sprinkler for the children. The parking is limited.

Decently spacious for a park within the city. The grounds are well kept. They have a play ground with slides for bigger kids as well as the little ones. There's a baseball diamond, basketball court, tennis courts, and an open field for soccer, Frisbee etc. If you find the big fenced in Cypress tree, legend has it that George Rogers took out his whip and whipped the ground, and a large cypress tree grew from the spot.

Best quietest area for private, family, church, or special functions. Clubhouse with space for average sitting & serving. Bathrooms inside a well.

My kids love this park in the summertime. The jungle gyms need some maintenance or updating though. They’re starting to degrade a little. But all in all a great park for a picnic, baseball, basketball and hiking. Also a great place to go sledding when it’s snows.

I had my parents 69th wedding anniversary at the lodge and loved every minute of it. The building was clean and roomy and the park grounds were perfect. The Parks Department really made this a great day!

Great place for family fun. 👪 Plenty of things to do at the park. Visited family reunion and rented the building. Parking was OK.

I love this park but it really needs some love. sometimes they only mow half the park, other times they don't bother to clean up fallen branches/trees after storms. It's also important to note that the playground is only one part of the park, and that down the hill there is a nice path that people walk their dogs on. the hills are also great for sledding on in the winter

Our kids and I only use the park to walk our dog on the trails. Everyone is kind and courteous. Never crowded or littered. Seems safe, but I'm not sure what safe is anymore, so...

This is one of my favorite places and the rental building is very nice for small intimate gatherings. I was there to celebrate a friends wedding, there was only about 30 of us there. The fireplace at one end is beautiful, the mantel on the opposite end was decorated. There's a small kitchen, with refrigerator, sink, and enough counter space to arrange edibles.im already considering a fall gathering.

Very nice park. Kids loved the water that sprayed them. We used the inside shelter and it was nice as well. The kitchen needs to be fully working and cleaned up. Microwave should be on site as well. Otherwise, nice place to have a gathering.
