It has been a while since I came back here. It's nice to see they've converted some part of the fields into a soccer field. Nice to see the locals are enjoying the beautiful game of soccer through various evidence of pits in the ground from the numerous amount of cleats imprent. I took my daughter here for her first playground play and she enjoyed it very much. Her short 18 month old legs can only climb so many steps. She had a lot of laughs at the baby swing. One less star because the playhouse steps are showing its age and someone tried it fixed through with their redneck engineering degree and experience.

Park just upgraded but I usually play ball court has new paint and looks great. Really nice due to police center in front. Walking trails a few. Dog friendly not a small park. Great for kids baseball fields 2 tennis court 3 basketball court. You can leave a book take a book station is neat.

Love that this park has Wifi! Great playground for the kids and walking path. Has tennis courts, basketball court and baseball fields.

POT HOLE IN FRONT OF BENCH CAUSED SPRAINED ANKLE!!!! I took my kids to this park today. I went to go sit on a bench close to the play ground and was tripping by a hole I didn't see right away. The hole was right in front of the bench. My ankle is now sprained and in a lot of pain. I had to call my parents to come get me and help me hobble to the car. ALSO, there was a active wasps nest in the colorful pavilion near the parking lot. I HOPE THESE GET FIXED SOON, so no one else gets hurt. For now my sweet kids filled in the hole with mulch to help prevent others from getting hurt in the meantime. ***my non-hurt food and shoe in pics to make it easier to see hole depth.***

Wanted to give it 5 stars. I've always enjoyed the lights during Christmas time. The lights are going out. An entire section wasn't working. Besides that great park.

They have a few events here. I like how long the walking path is. You can get a view of the entire area. They have a playground with swings and it's nice to bring your dog out; however, there is no dog park.

There were plenty of tables, some under shade and some not. There are soccer fields and tennis courts. It did appear that they were redoing the bathrooms so there were port a pots. Grass was well maintained and a good amount of parking.

Love taking the kids here. It's a great playground, they keep it nice and clean too.

The Highview Friday Fest events are awesome. Great music, bring your own chair, food, etc. Family friendly. I have been attending them for the last four years. Maybe five or six. They start Memorial Day weekend and are every other Friday through the first weekend in August. If you are a business, it's worth the sponsorship investment.

My daughter loves going there. Glad they have free functions for the community

Great park that definitely some money put into it to make it even better. Some of the playground areas are obviously repaired with just wood and putty but this is a great hidden spot for our 2 year old to play at.

Went here early Saturday w/ two dogs in tow for Metro Animal Service’s dog and cat affordable vaccine clinic. Great service for seniors and saved money too! Nice clean little park. I’ve lived in Okolona for close to 10 yrs. And did not even know about this gem of a park. Looks like from what I saw they have ball diamonds, walking trail and picnic tables. Cool!

Lovely little park that has something to do for everyone. With tennis, soccer, baseball, and basketball areas you never run out of options for entertainment. I will say that the upkeep is very poor. Buildings are falling apart, half of the lights for the tennis court don't work. You can't turn on the lights for the soccer field, and there are no lights for the baseball or basketball areas. So in the winter it's really hard to be in these areas at 5:30pm when there aren't any lights. The park doesn't close till 11pm so why isn't there an option to turn the lights on for the fields? That's really my only complaint.

It was a great family outing for Halloween. There was way more people there then I thought there would be.

Could use some upgrades but it's a nice park. Lots of shade.

Clean safe place to exercise the dogs and get my steps in for the day that is close to home.

Love this place. Outside and when I was there booths were selling food. Plenty parking.

Nice day out to walk the park and watch your children play

The kids enjoy visiting this park. As you can see, the book nook(book exchange) is a hit! How cool is that to see all three kids engaged in reading so intently. They wanted to participate, so we later returned with our donation of several books for the nook.

A nice environment and fun for kids and adults. Public restrooms are available. My kids even made friends with some kids there and as the parents, we just started talking as well. This was my 1st time at Highview Park but i think I will be visiting there again. Update: I have lost count of how many times I have been here. Still loving it and now we walk at this park just to exercise as well.

Wonderful spot to go on a walk. We bring our dog here often and the walk around is about 20 to 30 minutes with nice playground for the kids. Would recommend!

Surprised by all the quality tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, soccer goals with nets, playground, picnic area with a lot of big picnic tables. This park is a hidden gem in Louisville
