This is a great park for hiking and kayaking! The trails are a mix of gravel and dirt. They are well-marked. There are both flat and hilly sections. We enjoyed walking (and stepping in) along the water and checking out the swings overlooking the view. Parking is easily accessible after driving through a residential area to enter the park. A porta potty was available for use. Kayaking access is well kept and easy to use. Definitely check out this place!

Very nice, quiet park in an unexpected area. I've been a couple of times, and it's never crowded. The people I've run into there have all been very nice. I've seen deer, ducks, and beavers. Not a single tick so far. Well maintained and plenty of things to keep this park interesting. I'll be returning to kayak in the creek. Restrooms were locked both times I was there.

A great place to hike and to kayak/paddle board. This is a holler amongst mansions.

I read to be careful after rain because of mud. True story. There’s no ramp here, but steps to the water. We enjoyed our time out even with the mud. We will return!

Great little place for 4 miles of trails. Unfortunately it was super wet and saturated when I made it so didn't get to enjoy them. Definitely got to make it back next time!

This park is a hidden gem. The boat launch is perfect for a kayak or canoe. Tucked away in the Hunting Creek neighborhood, the park has walking trails along Harrods Creek.

Very beautiful well manicured trails. Benches along the orange trail to sit and watch the water or rest. The tree swings are amazing. The sand bar is a must see and only a little over a mile from the parking lot. Only downfall in my opinion is the lack of restrooms or portables.

Great place for hiking and canoeing and a little swim in the creek. Kids were catching toads and the adults loved sticking out feet in the creek to cool off. Couple of deadfalls need cleared, but it was really windy not long ago and I am sure those are new

Nice park. Easy access to river. River is ok. Dropped in kayaks. Paddles down river to harbor and turned around.

Great hiking trails, not too strenuous. The creek was clean and nice. It's becoming one of my top favorite places

Hidden gem in Prospect amongst a residential neighborhood. Nice, easy hiking through the hillside and along the creek. Several volunteers were out today clearing the intrusive growth to ensure the wildflowers had plenty of air to bloom. Today’s trail was a bit slow due to the recent rain, so we expect the next visit to be even better.

So beautiful. 2 hours on the blue trail. Gorgeous view, bridges, many creek views etc. It was very muddy due to rain but worth it. I highly recommend it. Other trails with less shade and further distances. You can kayak here too.

I loved this little park. Four main trails to walk and they intersect so you could do all four trails in one visit. That's what I did and they were all enjoyable. Private properties on one side of the green trail. There are clearly marked signs so just be respectful of those properties and enjoy this delightful park. I liked that there were emergency signs along the trails in case of emergencies. I do not see these alot and I hike trails almost every day, so this was a nice surprise to see. I will def be back if I am in the area again!

Nice area, trails are in good condition, only 1 fallen tree on blue trail. I walked blue and orange trails.

Well hidden park that has long nature trails. You can also launch a kayak here! Great for dogs reminds me of beckley park and Tom Sawyer in one.

This is a safe, well-maintained moderate trail system with free parking for nature walks or runs. Great for bird watching, and packed with geocaches. A total of 3.25 miles in two connected loops.

This is one of my favorite hiking trails in Louisville. Highly recommend. Tough to find the entrance but once you do it's worth it. You can also kayak here but only at certain times of year depending on rainfall levels

This lovely, semi-hiking and walking trails has something for the whole family. There is a diverse amount of flora in the form of forest greenery and flowers. While, this is not a forest. It feels like it is with the rock formations, mature trees and the body of water. Those clam waters provide good learn ground for canoeing or kayaking. Don't come alone as this park is dog friendly. My only negative point is the non-functioning or locked on site bathrooms.

Googled waterfalls in Louisville, this spot came up Beautiful place, but was looking forward to seeing the waterfall, just to find out you have to take a kayak to it and it's on private property, so wouldn't be able to see it 😐. Definitely a spot to go on adventures. So next time that's what I'm going to do

Nice little trail, a tad rugged but really nice to find in town. Didn't like the vagueish signs as to where the trails where, and it was a little odd walking behind mansions but they squeezed this little slice of heaven in there.

Great place for a hike or kayak trip. Dog friendly, enough parking and a bathroom. Lots of deer at dusk including two big bucks.

It is a great park who like to enjoy nature without car sounds every few minutes. I really like this park, but it is not stroller friendly.

Awesome trails here with several options depending on skill and time. Good place to canoe. Tons of birdwatching and diverse flora abound. Bring a picnic and watch the creek go by!

Park is hidden in Prospect golf course neighborhood. Free boat ramp. It is 150 yards away from where you have to park. Kids and I dragged a canoe and kayak down to the almost dry side stream that feeds into Harrod’s. Deep water with sunken trees and zero current. June trip. No fish hitting the surface; zero fish caught on artificial lures. But it was a great paddle and a good looking park!

👍 The path by the pond is very short. If you go up in between the houses away from the pond there is a hiking trail. Path is mostly clear and parts of it have a boardwalk but it's a bit confusing. The park is absolutely beautiful as a pond and worth a visit

😠 We have gone every year to Shadracks and this was NOT a light show. There were three elements synced to music and the rest were just lighted shapes. Definitely not worth $40 to see lighted aliens and Bigfoot.
