Honestly a beautiful park, walking and learning about what different trees are called. It’s never too crowed at the park and the people you do meet are nice which is always appreciated. I visited the park recently and seen a Bee hummingbird moth! It was my first time seeing one and it was so nice watching it while it was in the small garden of flowers. I can’t wait to see what I find on my next visit to Jeffersonville!

This is an amazing park full of scenery. It has a 1+mile walking/run path.Every 500 feet or so there are exercise areas with specific instructions. The path is also shaded br trees in certain areas. Great for a casual walk or an exercise Enthusiast. There is a large pond full of life ducks, geese, turtles and fish that you and the family can feed. Also the park has a large playground with grill areas. Overall a great family park.

I had a blast at this park. The equipment although old, was still fun to play on. the only con is it's all metal so it gets hot. They have slides, jungle Jim's, swings, a Merry go round, and see saws. The gravel was a little difficult to walk around on. I thoroughly enjoyed walking on the memorial trail. Beautiful flowers and trees. The geese didn't seem to like us, and one tried to charge my friend but we laughed it off. Not too crowded and the restroom was clean and stocked up. I will be going back. And I would recommend this park to family and friends!

A beautiful park with such a sweet and peaceful atmosphere to it. The trail is nice and smooth which is great when you're bringing kids along. The highlights for us were the little teddy bear museum, which is so adorable and unique, and the pond. There weren't a ton of birds there but LOTS of turtles. We were able to feed the ducks and geese and even got to see some precious little goslings. They have food available in a quarter machine at the feeding station if you don't have any on hand. You can tell this is a place truly loved by those who take care of it and the community. Great experience.

It is a beautiful park to take a walk and enjoy the fresh air. The best park for me especially Catherine's Teddy Bear Place which shows different collections of teddy bears. It also shows the Perrin's family tree. The place is fun plus they have teddy bear trivias. It also has information about the park's fauna and flora. I would recommend you to visit this park and never miss to go to Catherine's Teddy Bear Place.

This is a fantastic place to bring your family with small children. There's so much nature all around you, and a wonderful little park with some great play equipment for the little ones to run around and enjoy. The trees that are present in the play area do an excellent job of providing relief from the relentless Midwestern sun as well. It's also a good opportunity to see some wildlife. We saw several squirrels that were VERY large, and it brought a smile to the face of the child we had with our group.

First time in my life I've ever been amazed by a park. I started on the trail not knowing how long it was. My wife had a blast looking at all the different plant/tree species along the way... My feet hurt halfway through. I think that's what a good park is supposed to be.

Great clean park. The scenery is nice and it's quiet. Paved walking/ running path is about 1.25 miles around. Also has a playground for kids.

Playground has gravel which I am not a fan of, but the walking trail is nice. Take quarters so you can feed the wildlife and check out he teddy bear museum.

This park is one of Southern IN hidden gems. It's paved, 1 mile trail offers shade and gently rolling hills, a great place to walk/jog. The duck feeding, the Teddy Bear themed "Museum", the spacious playground and picnic area, makes this one of my favorite parks to bring the kids. As far as feeding the ducks, posted signs ask that you DO NOT feed the ducks BREAD. ( Corn, peas, cooked rice and seedless cut grapes were other options listed) .Also, pets are not allowed on the walking trail.

It is clean and scenic with a pond, section of trees and a garden. But it's not really a full park and not a true nature preserve. As a "park" it features one large paved trail with signs that say you can only walk one direction with no bikes or roller skates allowed. Oh and there's a playground in the back. People are not allowed to take advantage of the huge lawns covering the "park" to play frisbee, bring pets, have picnics or do any other park like activities on. I think of it as "The Park of Rules" or 1984 when I go there. As a "nature preserve" why do they maintain a number of huge rolling lawns? Lawns are one of the most destructive features to nature and biodiversity. They conflict harshly with a natural ecosystem. Lawns interrupt the nature web by eliminating food and places to hide for pollenating insects and small herbivores. In reducing the number of insects lawns reduce the amount of food for birds and attract less of them. In reducing birds... you can understand the direction it goes from there. Lawns are like big empty parking lots for nature offering not much. In addition to being discouraging to wildlife, think of the gas and chemicals it takes to maintain lawns the size of what Perrin Park has. This is a lot of pollution created every summer and money to pay employees to maintain the useless lawns. I can't help but wonder since it's not really a park or a nature preserve, if they offer just enough public access to get some kind of tax break or other incentive as a park and/or do just enough to meet the Indiana DNR requirements to be a nature preserve to receive whatever benefit this offers. With all the rules and places you can't go and activities you're not allowed to do, it offers a very cozy feeling. But a paved trail is better than no "park" at all, so drop what you're doing and get to this place of business as soon as you can to enjoy looking at but not touching a lot of grass. PS once while we were there we had a guy who worked at the "park" tell us about new cameras they installed all around the "park" for security and then proceeded to pop out wherever we were in the "park" on his golf cart the entire time we were there. It was either a coincidence or he used those very same cameras to follow us all around the "park". He even pulled up next to us on his golf cart as we exited to ask how we enjoyed the "park" today. ...Much better if we would not have been stalked sir. Get it together Perrin "Park". Become a real park.

What a beautiful park! I never knew this place even existed, but now it is one of my favorite parks! Very reasonable rental for a pavilion and a beautiful walking path and memorial garden. A teddy bear museum, a wildlife sanctuary, a huge selection of trees, all labeled for easy identification. A truly spectacular privately endowed park.

Perrin Family Park is the go-to for our family anytime we have a picnic. We had our first picnic of the summer last Saturday...Both kids and adults loved it. We would have stayed here all night if the park would have stayed open. We enjoyed the delicious food and the beautiful nature all around us. The tall trees provided the necessary shade that kept us cool. The kids kept making trips between the grilled food 🍗🍔🌭and the playground. The bathrooms were clean. The Park became more crowded and alive as people started coming later toward the afternoon. I cannot wait for our family's next picnic 🥰🥰🥰

One of the best privately owned parks around. It is very clean and well kept. The staff is absolutely phenomenal. They have a large variety of trees. The Walking path is beautiful. There's also a playground and picnic area. It is great for children and adults of all ages.

Beautiful park all year round!!! 😍 It's privately owned and I'm so grateful that it is open to the public for free. I take my toddler here all the time!

This is my absolute favorite park ever, in the whole wide world! (Having grown up with it, I may be biased, but...) It's quaint, beautiful, peaceful. Upon entering, a beautiful statue of Saint Francis greets guests. An unassuming building at the trailhead houses an impressive and beautiful tribute through a beloved collection. The walking trail itself encircles a tranquil pond with smooth inclines and declines between optional exercise stations. The exercise stations include instructions for beginners and harder challenges for those more fit. The playground is absolutely adorable, again with varying options for varying ages and agility. The smooth peagravel provides a more forgiving surface for those less than graceful (yours truly!), the benches around the trees are supportive, and everything is farm-themed! There is a sheltered picnic area and nearby, indoor restrooms. There is a planted forest, trees in beautiful rows. I have had the honor of watching those trees grow from saplings to the tall, majestic trees they now are.

Very well maintained privately owned park. Open to the public. Contains a small nature reserve with waterfowl and a nice selection of trees. A nice feature is the trees can be identified by little engraved plates discretely set on the ground in front of them. Educational for those with a thirst for botanical enlightenment. In general a very peaceful place for a nice walk.

Very nice park well maintained. It closes at night, so that keeps the riff raff out of there. Pretty gardens, Teddy Bear museum for kids, a nice pond with ducks, geese and turtles you can feed. Also a very nice walking track. No dogs allowed. Boo! Other than that it's extremely nice.

This is one of the most prettiest parks in Jeffersonville! The staff works really hard at keeping this part clean and well-maintained. Any time of year you can find hidden gems that expose the beauty within!

Have you ever seen the movie Mortal Kombat that was made in 1995? (A must watch for any true MK fan) there is a scene where Scorpion fights Johnny Cage in a forest with trees just like this. Definitely go check this park out. Picnic table and playground are closed right now tho

This place is wonderful and I really appreciate how much it has to offer. The walking trail is well thought out and weaves in and out of trees and around the lake. There are many ducks, geese, squirrels and various other wildlife in the park. I love these creatures and look forward to seeing them. The staff is great and really take pride in making the park a nice place. I've read some of the negative reviews from those not liking some of the rules. Please understand, this is a privately owned park that is open to the public. If it is important for you to bring your dog with you to the park, simply go to another park that allows pets. As previously mentioned, many duck and geese live at this park and sometimes they are around the path, they are harmless and are just out there living their lives. Thank you Perrin Park for providing such a nice place to visit!!
