What a wonderful job they have done with this path! My primary use is by bicycle and it is a gentle, relaxing ride. The hills are non-existent so if you're a newbie or just someone who wants a comfortable trail away from cars, this is ideal. If you start at the Big Four Bridge you can follow the over 7 miles to New Albany past the Falls of the Ohio, Clark Homestead and Lewis and Clark Park. Some of the ride is past the backyards of apartment buildings and right after the IN side of the bridge you are mixing with mild traffic until the trail arrives, but still the majority of the ride is serene and if you include downtown Louisville, can be a fun little adventure ride, especially with kids in tow since traffic is not an issue about 98 percent of the ride, minus the previously mentioned side streets.

We got off to a bad start, we parked under the interstate on the Louisville side. We rode west into the homeless community and became uncomfortable on the bike path. Fortunately we turned east and found the pedestrian bridge to the Indiana side. All good after that. We rode three other paths on our trip: Little Miami (Milton, OH), Greenway Searcy (Murfreesboro, TN), Cardinal Greenway (Muncie, IN). This was one of our favorites.

Solid park trail to walk or hike. Very well kept. Can easily get a few miles in by coming here, definitely worth the stop for a good walk, run or bike

Must do with the family! We need more like this in the urban area. Path goes from Ohio River falls to past the New Albany bridge. Nicely kept, easy path with a dirt trail loop off one section (Wetlands)

Love the new Ohio River Greenway, here in Southern Indiana, connecting Jeffersonville to New Albany! Especially appreciate the easy access point, in Clarksville, on Eastern Ave. Some of the Greenway is scenic, but alot of it passes by ling-standing industrial areas...which aren't so scenic. However, it's a traffic-free, safe place to ride your bike! Or walk/run. And this is just the beginning. Over time, more acreage will be reclaimed and preserved. I agree with another reviewer who said this is the best "find" since The Parklands!

I've logged in over one hundred miles on the Emory path and loved every minute! At various times the veiw and the wildlife change like chameliia. If you go at night make sure to bring a good flashlight or risk being molested by deer! lol. Stunning vistas, natural elemental beauty and wildlife everywhere. 🀣

I love this path. It's full of things to do and see. Most of the people on the path are friendly and helpful. The bike riders have the same issue with walkers and hikers and dogs and roller bladers who think it belongs only to them. But it's really nice.

It’d be so much nicer if it were cleaner. I’ve only been a couple of times but each time, there’s been trash strewn about & just kind of ruins the scenery & walk when you have to keep your eyes peeled so your dogs don’t walk on anymore glass…

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Great fire museum! They have a small fire prevention/education area at the front of the building for children. One of the volunteers gave my daughter a tour of all of the old hand pumpers and told her the history of them all. She was enthralled with it all. Recommend for anyone! They offer a discoun...
