5/20/2017, a large group of people that care about Portland spent the day putting down mulch, picking up trash around the park. A little piece of history, it was the first professional baseball games were played here. If people would just keep the trash up it would be great for the kids. I played here about 56 yrs ago.

I've started walking daily and always have a peaceful there's always people that's homeless hanging around no one's even bothering you as long as you're not bothering them it's a real peaceful walk early in the morning to embrace God's kingdom

I stop by and let my furbabies enjoy this beautiful day. They love the park and the slides.

Pretty good park, people needs to remember the perks around here and every where else is meant for our kids. We also need a pool around here, in the Portland/West end area not just everywhere else,.. fix up and help out every area don't just pick and choose certain ones when they all.,. Meaning, every area... Need allot of attention, help, things for the kids in those areas.

The park is well kept. it's just the unsupervised kids that have you wishing their "mothers" would've swallowed them instead. Seems like CPS needs to quit knocking on doors and Start walking in parks. Ijs.

I used to love going to this park🏡 when I was younger. Some of my earliest memories are at this park. Now however it's definitely not the same. The graas needed a cut, the playground equipment needed to be looked at. I hope by the time summer comes they got it together.
