I will start by saying; the ladies on each shift that work the front desk are amazing. Each one was very sweet and accommodating. The rooms are typical bland SpringHill Suites rooms. But the location is absolutely horrendous. I didn’t have a vehicle with me; so the only food choice other than ordering online, was the bowling alley across the street. Which actually had a pretty good hamburger. The first night I listened to cargo planes from midnight to 6 a.m. I asked to be moved to the opposite side of the building for the second night. This time, I got to listen to major interstate traffic. I’m guessing the franchise owners got this land dirt cheap. As a very loyal Bonvoy member; I can’t imagine how Marriot signed off on this location…Sorry, I won’t be back to this property.

Hello again from the silent traveler. As I've stated before no hotel is 100% perfect or will they get it right 100% of the time. It all depends on how the staff handles a customer situation. I had a situation that the staff handle it effectively and quickly. I had a mouse in my room as I was turning in for the night getting ready for my travels the next day. It was late and I did not feel like going to another hotel so they were able to handle situation quickly and effectively and make sure that I was safe and comfortable in my new room. Again that's how you can determine a really good hotel how they handle situations based on customers expectations.

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The facility is small. From the dining room to the lobby. The rooms were dirty and ants were everywhere! As much money I paid, I couldn't believe how old the rooms were. I'm just appalled. Elevators were filthy. I mean I could go on and on. I just could not believe it! Never again.

Hotel was fine just a little dated. I will say the AM staff, and what looked to be the manager, was extremely loud and quite obnoxious each morning while people were meeting and trying to have a relaxing breakfast. Yelling across the room and down the hallways with boisterous "call outs" and laughter was disturbing.

The front desk staff was super! Excellent job. Our rooms were nice and clean. We had one outlet by the bed that was not working, but everything else was in order. They do have hot breakfast in the morning. It is an airport hotel for sure- location is super close. That also means the planes are super close and you can hear them and feel them when they fly by. If you are a super light sleeper just be aware (I sleep like a log, but my wife, not so much 😁). My only recommendation for improvement is the quality of the toilet paper.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. (Give them a raise!) Rooms were large. Standard amenities of a Springhill Suites. Convenient shuttle to airport. It's not 5 star hotel with butlers and super polished marble, but they execute well for what the Springhill Suites brand is intended to be.

II wanted to share some feedback. When booking, the description mentioned queen beds, but upon arrival, I found full beds. Additionally, the state of the bathrooms was disappointing, with stained walls and hair. I believe transparency in the booking information is crucial for customer satisfaction. I hope you can address these concerns for future guests. Best regards,

MISSING POINTS: CHECK MARRIOTT ACCOUNT when you leave. I stayed three separate nights at this hotel, three separate reservations. I had to go back and find my receipts from my stays, enter all of my information, upload it to Marriott, and report my missing points, TWICE. I had to do this process two separate times, for two separate stays. My third stay with his hotel I used my points, and of course that reflected on my account shortly after I left. Ironically, that “stay” was recorded on my account, but not the other two that I paid for. I rarely check my Marriott account after I leave. Had I not been aware, this hotel would’ve cheated me out of two nights (reflected on my account as 4 from a promotion) + points. The hotel itself was nice, clean, and comfortable. I would go as far to say that it’s the best airport hotel available in the area. The only problem I experienced is the hot water took 8-10 minutes to warm up before I was able to shower. Once you’re in the shower, you couldn’t make the water hotter. The maximum temperature is the temperature you needed it to be to even step into the shower. It was maybe two steps up from being lukewarm. This could be a problem unique to room 405, or a new way for Marriott to save money. I experienced this same problem a few weeks ago in New York. I really value being able to take a hot, steamy shower after a 12+ hour drive. I kept extending my stay at this hotel due to bronchitis + sinus infection. A steamy shower was just the medicine I needed, but didn’t get during my stay. Could it have been fixed had I told management, and moved rooms??? I guess that is for you to find out because at the time, I was too sick and depleted to do so.

My family and I chose to stay here during our trip to Louisville and Kentucky Kingdom. Let me first say, I am not one to complain; however, I want families to spend their money wisely. If this hotel suites you—spend some time here, but at least with this review and others, you can make an informed decision. The good: 1. Location 2. Welcoming entrance and staff 3. Updated facility 4. Microwave/small refrigerator in room 5. Indoor pool The bad: 1. The room was configured like older hotels (not functional by modern standards). We stayed in a double full hotel with couch. You could tell that these rooms were given a facelift—but poorly executed. I would say it was familiar to what you would expect from a house flipper — appears beautiful, but the bones and functionality are old and broken. 2. New toilet, but could hardly flush. Poor pressure 3. Old outlets. Most wouldn’t even hold a plug. Two outlets physically burnt out. 4. Cosmetically not what you expect from a 3-star hotel. Holes, scratches, tape on walls, poor caulking. 5. Small and outdated TV that was in a terrible location. Slow service. 6. Extremely slow draining tub. Old tub. Poorly done update.

This Hotel was clean and conveniently located near the Thruway and the airport. My king-bed room was spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly, the included breakfast was fresh and well-cooked. I would definitely stay here again when in the Louisville area.

HOLY HIGH PRICES, BATMAN!!!! SERIOUSLY! Not to mention my room's plumbing was in serious disrepair. 1 USB charging port, that didn't work, and the room was Motel 6 clean. Stay somewhere else, you'll be glad you did!

30 seconds to airport. Front desk clerk was absolutely fantastic! Clean, cozy and spacious. Everything you want in a hotel.

This hotel was actually a lot better than I anticipated. Online check-in up to 24 hours in advance made it so easy when we arrived. Our room was clean and spacious, almost twice the size of a normal hotel room (hence the name suite). Loved having a MINI FRIDGE and MICROWAVE over a cupboard type situation because it made it easier to store any snacks or drinks that we accumulated during our trip. The only design flaw was that they made the bathroom with no ventilation. I love taking a HOT SHOWER while in a hotel, but without the ventilation, you can only stay inside that enclosed space for so long without leaving the door open. The pool went to over 4ft deep and was crystal clear. The fitness area was open 24/7 so if you need to work off jet-lag, this is your place. Enjoy!

Good hotel, room & complimentary breakfast was ok. I booked this hotel because there are no reports of bed bugs. My room was good but the blanket had gross blood stains on it! The shampoo dispenser was almost completely empty. For such good reviews I expected to have enough shampoo and bedding clean from blood stains. Still was a good value for the price as it’s close to the airport.

Upon check-in we walked into a room with dirty sheets. The front desk guy was apologetic and changed our bedding for us. He is honestly the only good thing here. We asked for our sheets to be changed 2 days in and they literally rotated the blanket and sprayed febreeze in the room. Breakfast was a disappointment as well. The sausage smelled off one morning and the mini biscuits were rocks. The waffle maker, toaster, and juice machine had seen better days if they worked at all. Yogurt and prepackaged muffins were the only edible things, but McDonalds is around the corner so that’s helpful. The pool looked sketchy, like a film was on the water. We did not use it and would not recommend using it. For the price there are much cleaner and nicer hotels in the area.

My week stay was fine. Room was clean upon arrival. The ladies at the service desk were very responsive. Very easy check in and out process. Not a complaint but be mindful that if you stay on the 1st floor by the fitness room, I assume, it can get a little noisy from the other guests. Complimentary breakfast was a great perk! If I ever needed a hotel to stay in Louisville, this hotel would be an option.

Rooms were ok. Not as nice as you would expect with the price tag. We were having breakfast and they allowed the staff come eat 30 minutes before end and there was nothing left for the patrons. They even put up the silverware and turned off the drink machine early. The shuttle was a nice feature

This is a perfect hotel for me when I’m driving down south to Northern Illinois. I use this one to rest the night before my last six hour drive back home. This hotel is two blocks away from from the highway when you get off on 65. Plus they have four nice charging bays that I use to charge up my Tesla at 30mph charge. The hotel itself is clean and in a good area, feels very safe. Five stars for me.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable for the most part. More updated furniture is needed in order to brighten the room. Breakfast was typical, kids loved the pool.

This was a nice hotel. Very clean. The staff was cordial. The breakfast was disappointing. There needs to be vegan options. There was packaged oatmeal with brown sugar already in it and then there were extra toppings...why? Please, get a bulk container with a dispenser attached and fill it with some whole grain rolled oats. Keep the toppings there and we're good! You'll save a ton of money just by making this one change.

The staff other than Gloria at the front desk are extremely rude. We stayed Jan 1 and checked out on the second with the promise of free breakfast with our stay. Breakfast is supposed to run until 10am. At 9:15 the oatmeal was gone, there was no bread. I asked for a Bagel and was told that was all they had for that day and they didn't know if the truck was coming. The woman was Extremely rude to the point where she was aggressive. Another guests asked another staff member for a piece of bread for her little boy (the staff member had a piece in her hand), she said it was the last piece. How is the staff going to tell a guest they got the last piece of bread? Extremely unprofessional, very unlike anything related to Marriott standards. Also, the sink in the room was clogged and the shower was not very hot at all, We were very disappointed. Oh and lastly, the hand sanitizer in the elevator makes your hands smell like dead fish, it is awful.

The room was spacious and the rate was reasonable. We had two kids with us who were super excited about the indoor pool. The hallway leading to the pool, the pool room, and the actual pool were freezing. Both kids were shivering and had blue lips within about 30 minutes. The continental breakfast was less than disappointing. Our bathtub was dirty and the sink by the mini fridge was filthy and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time.

Stayed 2 nights in mid May. The room refrigerator didn’t work and was not fixed or swapped out during our stay. A bucket of ice was a decent substitute. The full breakfast lacked bacon. Only sausage and eggs plus the other continental type items. The room was nice. Clean. Kids liked the indoor pool. Excellent location for the Exhibition Center. Staff was friendly. I would stay again if ever in Louisville.

Nice facility. Located near airport. Earplugs were provided. But we didn't experience any noise issues. Complimentary hot breakfast was good except for the "hot" part. The eggs and sausage were at room temperature. Hot food needs to be maintained at a temp over 140⁰F to prevent bacteria growth. This needs to be corrected.

Specifically asked for a room away from the interstate traffic because of the noise. Was assured that the room was quiet...it definitely was not even close. We heard the expressway and airport all night long. A couple of our hand towels were extremely damp. Not sure how those were even hung on the rack. I get it, the hotel is by the expressway, high probability that it's going to be loud. But please don't lie to me about having a quiet room. Had to be up at 4am to make a flight. Good thing, cause I didn't sleep at all.

My stay was amazing! The suite was beautiful & the mirrors?! AMAZING! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous on the inside & very clean! The bed felt like HEAVEN. It was kinda hard going places because I wanted to lay in bed all day. The staff was very hospitable and accommodating and I will definitely stay there next time I’m in Louisville!

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff, easy check in and front desk graciously accommodated my request for a room facing from away from highway. Room was clean and has separate areas for sleeping and working/relaxing. Breakfast was the best I’ve had in a hotel all year, I travel quite a bit and this was by far the most pleasant breaky I’ve had. (Super nice lady attending it, very cheerful 😀) Scrambled eggs, egg & cheese omelettes, bacon, sausage, oatmeal w/variety of toppings, cereal, bagels, yogurt, various juices, fresh fruit, simply a marvelous experience with an excellent spread of food presented. Definitely will be staying here again. Will add some photos tmrw.

Excellent location near Louisville International Airport. Easy check-in. The rooms were in excellent condition. The provide 24 hour a day shuttle service to the airport. A very big plus. Most restaurants are a mile or more. None in easy walking distance. Highly recommend Springhill Suites for it's convenient to the airport.

Visited MATS this weekend and was very happy with our choice of staying here. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Shuttle service was greatly appreciated. Breakfast was amazing with many options. Waffles were the best!!! Room was nice and comfortable, including pull out couch. Would stay again!

We are Marriott Titanium status members and have never had a disappointing stay at any Marriott over the past 12 years. This room was a dingy, extremely dark ( even with all lights on) first floor room with guests smoking outside our window. I had requested an upper floor. Our stay was for 5 nights. Very overpriced. Over $1300 for 5 nights. We were there for the Bourbon and Beyond music festival. Carpet dirty ( my feet were black after walking on the carpet). Sheets thin, pillows without any form, comforter dirty on edges. Bugs on the bathroom floor. Fan in bathroom not functioning. Light above sink burnt out the night before we checked out. Difficult to charge phones and watch due to loose outlets. HVAC intermittent. Either too cold or too hot. Poor hot food selection for breakfast 2/4 mornings . Lacks security. I did call hotel after our stay and found out this is a FRANCHISED location. NOT OWNED BY MARRIOTT. This property needs a major renovation

I want to start off by saying this, their staff is AMAZING! From Lavern who made my day correcting my reservation and leaving me with a checkout, saying I would stay there again due to staff experience and location. Brought this rating one star higher. Gloria checked me in and it was also a pleasurable experience. Can't for get Lisa who recommended a great Pizza place for me and the family to order delivery cause we was worn out from the park. It was very convenient the staff had a shuttle service to take you to and from Kentucky Kingdom as well. Continent Breakfast was average and limited seating. The rooms were out dated. Only one wall even had a picture on it was very sad. The walls above the bathroom was cracking. Needs renovation asap. I look forward to them making changes. If was not for the staff it would have been a 3 rating.

Nice hotel near the airport. Rooms were clean but there is constant noise from the planes taking off and landing. We were there for 5 nights and got used to the noise pretty quickly and it really didn't bother us. Definitely going to consider returning to this hotel for louder than life next year.

Can’t complain about anything really. Room was nicely cleaned, hotel was visually pleasing, plenty of parking, etc. I’d stay here again. We stayed for a concert that was within walking distance - Perfectly placed hotel location.

  • 4/5 anthony s. 1 year ago on Google
The room was clean, ready for us upon arrival and the continental breakfast was more than adequate. The only complaint I would make is the room had no chest of drawers or dresser to place your clothes. However, it did have a closet to hang shirts, pants, etc.

  • 5/5 Stephanie H. 1 year ago on Google
We took a gamble and stopped to see if they had 2 rooms adjoining since we were traveling with 4 kids on December 22. They did have 2 rooms. We could have gotten by with 1 because of the space in the rooms. Both were very clean. Staff were amazing. Whole hotel was clean. Pool was enjoyed as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The front desk attendant was not overly friendly when I checked in. Oh well. Only negative part of my stay. The room was spacious, nicely decorated and very clean. Breakfast was good. The area could use a few more restaurants but overall not bad. Would stay again.
