Hmmm.
I’ve
stayed
at
other
Springhill
Suites
and
they’ve
been
very
nice.
Generally
on
par
with
Hilton’s
Hampton
Inn.
This
was
the
exception.
Upon
arrival,
we
parked
in
the
garage.
The
garage
was
filthy
and
there
was
trash
on
the
ground.
It
could
really
use
a
good
power
wash.
I
wasn’t
expecting
the
$20
a
day
parking
fee,
buts
it’s
reasonable
enough
for
the
location.
The
lobby
is
small,
but
works
well
enough.
The
staff
at
the
front
desk
were
pleasant
and
attentive.
The
lobby
leading
to
our
room
was
dated
and
a
little
dirty.
The
carpet
was
worn
and
the
place
is
in
need
of
an
update.
The
room
was
decent,
size
wise.
The
bathroom
was
weird
though.
As
others
have
noted,
the
toilet
is
in
its
own
room
with
a
tiny
hand
sink.
The
“shower
only”
is
in
a
separate
room
with
a
standard
size
sink.
Both
have
sliding
barn
doors.
Sort
of
odd.
The
first
night,
the
AC
didn’t
work
correctly
and
we
couldn’t
get
the
room
to
cool
off.
This
was
fixed
the
second
day
and
we
had
no
additional
problems.
The
bed
was
terrible.
It
was
like
sleeping
on
a
box
spring.
I
couldn’t
sleep
the
first
night
with
the
stuffy
room
and
the
uncomfortable
bed.
The
pillows,
however,
were
better
than
many
hotels.
The
included
breakfast
was
pretty
standard.
The
staff
were
pleasant
and
kept
everything
in
stock.
No
issues
there.
We
had
friends
who
met
us
there
for
a
night.
They
got
a
standard
king
room.
Theirs
had
a
regular
hotel
bathroom
and
I
tried
their
bed,
because
they
said
it
was
comfortable,
and
it
was
markedly
better
than
ours,
maybe
just
avoid
room
#518
where
we
stayed?
Overall,
I
cannot
recommend
this
hotel
and
would
never
stay
there
again.
I’m
really
disappointed
Marriott
is
ok
with
having
a
property
like
this
under
their
umbrella?
There
is
a
Hampton
Inn
directly
across
the
street.
It
looked
really
nice,
like
most
Hamptons.
I
would
definitely
stay
there
if
I
needed
to
be
in
Downtown
Louisville
again.
I
actually
checked
into
moving
after
the
first
day,
but
due
to
the
short
notice,
the
room
rate
was
$80
more
per
night.
I
wanna
say
it
was
+10
or
20
per
night
when
I
made
the
reservation.
I
had
never
had
an
issue
with
a
Marriott
before,
so
I
figured
why
spend
the
extra
money.
As
the
saying
goes,
you
get
what
you
pay
for.
Spend
your
money
elsewhere.
