Life gets busy, but my recent stay at this property helped ease the stress of my crazy schedule. I recently traveled to Louisville and realized I had to be there earlier in the day than previously expected. I contacted the hotel to ask for an early check in and ended up speaking with the GM who was helping out at the time. After explaining my situation, he said "No worries! We will have a room ready for you. Travel safe.” I can't tell you how much that meant to me personally. Not only that but the hotel staff was super helpful once I arrived. I can tell you firsthand it is hard to find the great customer service I received at this location and I highly recommend staying here!

The gentleman who checked us in was rude. The room was dirty two of the lamps, heat and phone did not work. Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night because someone was smoking two floors above us. Told the front desk about our issues he told us he would let maintenance know the following morning instead of putting us in another room. There was hair in the sink and in the tub. You charge someone $75 for incidentals but by the looks of the room you don’t use that money to fix anything. They also charge $12.95 for breakfast. This place used to be nice not sure what happened to it.

Do not stay here! They put their guests at risk, charge for services you did not receive, and refuse to acknowledge any of it or return the money that they fraudulently take. First, I was assigned a room and given the key to what I found to be an occupied room with the shower actively in use. Second, after a lengthy wait, I was given a room that did not have the proper sleeping accommodations for all of us. The third room was unoccupied and had two beds. It smelled but was tolerable until just past midnight when another family was checked in and given the key to our room which they entered while my children and I lay in bed. TWICE in the course of a few hours I was directly involved in the hotel staff giving strangers access to occupied rooms, luckily neither incident resulted in the physical harm of myself or my children but it easily could have and that was a risk not worth taking. I emailed the contact on the hotel’s webpage immediately and then called Customer Care/Reservations in the morning to let them know we had left and wouldn’t be returning thus we needed to cancel the remainder of the 3 night reservation. I was told it would be taken care of with no penalty or charge to me as our leaving was not our fault by two different people. A fews days later Holiday Inn charged me over $750… I have spoken with customer care and guest relations 3 separate times now, they have stated each time that the charge came directly from Holiday Inn and Holiday Inn would have to be the ones to reverse it. They have sent the issue to the manager of the Holiday Inn as well as the district manager. Guest relations also called the hotel directly with me on hold and were unable to speak with a manager. It’s been two weeks since the incident and over a week since the charge hit my account and neither myself nor guest relations have gotten a response from the hotel and my money has still not been refunded. I highly recommend you stay elsewhere. Even if you don’t run into the repeat safety issues that we did you risk incorrect charges without the hope of resolution.

Room and staff were great. We stayed three different places getting to Louisville. Holiday Day Inn was almost double the price to stay than the other two. Breakfast was not included with stay and was not as good as the other two places we stayed that includes breakfast.

Mostly friendly staff. First room was not cleaned very well in the bathroom. After showing Melinda the pictures below and her giving no facial expression, she remarked “I don’t know, I just rent the rooms.” Ok, Melinda. I was changed to a different room and mentioned to the manager whom was the one driving me to the airport the next morning. One star even though I was changed rooms. There’s not much of an excuse to have this much hair around any room.

The first floor was freezing cold as if the heat was out. It was so cold the staff had on coats and stocking hats with gloves. We could not even eat breakfast in the mornings or enjoy the lobby as a group.

We had a couple of hiccups in the room but they were taken care of quickly and Dominic was a really pleasant person and doing jobs all over the facility always took a minute to speak to us during our stay. Stephanie and Ashley the ladies at the desk very nice as well. An issue we had was the price of our stay and no breakfast included, it was $12.95 per person (adults) it was listed as a buffet. We had to pass and buy items to keep in the room. 4 Days was a bit pricey. Staying near the Airport was not an issue at all, there was air traffic but it was soothing to us. We were here to see family so if we come back to Louisville we will find something closer to them and more budget friendly to us. Thank you for a nice visit. ❤️🇺🇲

This was a unpleasant experience one of my worse, Where should I start, number one when we entered floor we were met with a terrible stench of sitting water (so did the elevator) and we also had a sketchy door where it looked like someone was fidgeting with the door as we opened the door the room was quite cold and the ac didnt work after the man fixed it we left the for an couple hours and after we came back to our room my relative that does NOT have a key opened the door.We went downstairs to complaint and the front desk lady did not believe us, and after walking upstairs to prove it to her we got a new room small size and after we settled in we found out the refrigerator didnt work we complanit and had to wait for them to fix it the next day. after we left it was fixed but then after

If I could give more stars for service I would! I came into this hotel on Monday and was having a very rough day. I was met at the front desk by the amazing Ashley who greeted me with a smile and positive affirmations to try to make me feel better because I was visibly flustered. She went above and beyond to ensure that my time there was less stressful than it needed to be and that I was no longer stressed or upset. Mind you, the stress had absolutely nothing to do with this hotel or the stay. The shuttle staff was amazing! They took me to work daily while I was in town and brought me back. They checked on me and made sure I kept my spirits high. Roger has a great spirit and I loved my conversation with him in the shuttle. This team is it!!!!!!! I am in the business of customer support and I can’t stop telling my friends and family of the support and love I felt when I walked in those doors! Ashley made my entire week and reminded me that there are kind people in the world. I needed that. Thank you so much!!!!!!!

My room was the raggedy and just unacceptable. I was only there for 1 night and glad that it was only 1 night. The furniture needs to be replaced. The curtains had cuts in them like Freddy did it. No soap dish holder in the shower because they were broken. Hair on the floor. Room 318 stay away.

We stayed here for the Oct 1st Bands of America event. Check-in went great and the manager on duty was welcoming and great. The room was spacious and laid out great. It looked pretty clean as well. Step down to the bar/restaurant for a drink and meal. The bar was packed and talked to friends who stated it was the bar tender's first day. Looked around at a couple in the restaurant who looked annoyed. Stayed and chatted with the friends and then noticed food was brought out to the couple. Weird for a restaurant I did not see, smell, or hear food cooking. We decided to go elsewhere. Came back and had a night cap at the bar. The bar is clean and laid out nicely and though the lady's first day she was doing her best and was good for me. I slept well though my mattress seemed very soft. Before checking out I "swept" the room for any personal items that could have been dropped or lost. Clearly under the bed hasn't been swept in a long time. There was a ball and mounds of dust. Noticed some slats on the bed were loose too. The top of the headboard had a coat of dust too. I was impressed with all of the staff and service.

Asked for handicap room with two beds due to daughter having a stroke and in wheelchair. Got to room and it had one bed. Went back to get a two bed handicap room but was told there wasn't one, on booking they had one listed. So had to get a regular two bed room. Was not easy to move the wheelchair around or get daughter in the tub. Young lady at desk, wasn't much help, didn't seem to know what she was doing. Pool was nice but not much room to get a wheelchair into pool area. Key card hardly worked. Was very clean and quiet

Had a fantastic experience from the front desk until checkout the next morning. Front desk agent was a very helpful and charming lady. The room was nicely decorated and was well eqipped to handle all of our needs. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Loved it!

This hotel is terrible. Room keys didn't work. No stair access to exit except for a fire door. They charged $5 plus tax to park on their unsecured lot. And there was not a hot breakfast. All together a terrible experience.

Hotel borders a very rundown side of town and airport; didn’t get much solid rest. If you’re traveling without children, don’t expect to enjoy your stay or use the pool without being accompanied by guests who are allowed to be as loud and disruptive as possible. I would stay anywhere else in the area.

Room was pretty gross, I considered sleeping in my car. Smelled odd/musty, sheets were stained and had a good amount of hair all over them. Carpet was dirty, hair in the sink. At least the TV worked... The lobby was nice but won't ever be staying here again. Oh, and I could hear everything in the rooms next to me. ... Everything ...

Had to show animals at expo center. Great location. Kiddo left her shoes under table switching prior to event. Our fault but when checking Kim at the front desk was so short with us. I'm a mom of 4 girls on a solo 4h event. Be kind Kim. The rest of your staff was quite nice. Kim you leave alot to be desired with your phone etiquette and also grace with others. Yes I had searched luggage prior to calling. Yes I waited until next am to call about the issue. No I did not need your false smile to aid in my morning. Also their phones apparently cut off alot.... at least when Kim answers you can't hear her.

Everything was fantastic about our two-day stay. The hotel staff was super welcoming and helpful. The cleaning lady was very nice. The room was clean and perfect. Zero complaints. We would definitely stay here again.

Pretty standard Holiday inn experience. Decent rooms and amenities. I can't speak to the food as we departed before the restaurant opened for the day.

Alyssa and Alyssa were at the desk to greet us upon arrival. They informed us of the dining room and bar hours. They gave us information about the pool and gym. Both were very friendly and welcoming. After checking in, we went down to the dining room. We had delicious meals and cocktails. Tiffanie was awesome! I took her recommendation and ordered the Chicken Alfredo. She didn't steer me wrong! We continued to eat there for our entire stay. Everyone throughout our stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean, beds were perfect and the location couldn't have been better. We had an encounter with a gentleman at the front desk on our second night. We didn't get his name but he was very friendly as well. We will definitely be back.

I called the front desk on January 10th at 2pm. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude. She was unable to tell me the rate difference between two room options. After I asked for her to transfer me to reservations, she said "I don't transfer" and hung up on me. I have never experienced a person so unwilling to communicate in my life. Unbelievably poor customer service. I will not be staying here in the future.
