My parents LOVE this hotel so we finally stayed a night while passing through and it was a great experience. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and we appreciated we could bring both of our larger dogs with us. The entire hotel is dog friendly and it was cool to grab a nightcap drink with them before bed. Only knock was that we reserved a corner suite and I think we got a standard room but overall it was a good stay and we will be back!

Loved this hotel, great staff, amazing room, super comfortable beds and pillows. No microwave, but we made due, no complaints. Was nervous about the sketchy lot for our truck with a trailer, but had no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice bar, clean modern rooms. Parking - more than $25!!! - a bit much. Dog friendly. Close to riverfront park for dog walking. The downtown is unexpectedly interesting.

We were greeted by the staff immediately when we walked in which give us a good customer experience. At first glance the lobby is beautiful, we can see to the right there is a restaurant/bar, to the left was an area with snacks, pool table you name it. Very appealing. The Host rambled off so many things so fast that I forgot things such as which floor the ice was on and I can't even remember if we were told that we needed to use the key card to ride the elevator, nonetheless we figured it out. The rooms are uniquely arranged, very nice and elegant at first glance, I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel that was set up this way, very cute. Now my issues were that although I bring my own bedding (sheets, pillow cases, blankets) I did notice that there were stains on one of the blankets, I could see hair on the other blanket, they have two cups wrapped in plastic and two that are not that are for coffee, one of those cups had residual Orange liquid in it, meaning that it was used and put back. Also there weren't enough towels for our family of four and when we requested more washcloths we were given hand towels. The toilet stop working, my husband realize that he had to remove the tank and reattach the ball. There was no body wash in the shower and it was too late to call the front desk in that moment so we had to use shampoo on our body. Finally we valet parked and called for our vehicle, waited the suggested 10 to 15 minutes and when we got downstairs no one had ever called for our car. Again the staff was friendly, there are just a few house keeping issues that need to be tied up. The hotel is located just a few blocks from museum that we visited and restaurant we decided to eat at, so we didn't have to move our vehicle much.

The staff here is amazing. They will go above and beyond for the guest. We accidentally dropped our chips and salsa on the floor. A gentleman working there saw and offered to run down to zombie taco and to replace our order. He went as far as getting us food and delivering it back to us at the hotel. The front desk ladies are so kind and helpful with great suggestions on places for fun, to learn, and to eat. You can tell this establishment is run excellent. They're very friendly and helpful and the building is super clean. I also lost my tooth bush in the process they provided me with a new one. The one thing I did not like was we stayed a while, and no one came to refresh our room. We had to ask for new towels and toilet paper. Even with no sign on the door.

Had a wonderful stay here! The hotel was clean, had a great ambiance, and many amenities. All of the staff were incredible- Angelique was especially helpful and was so welcoming upon our arrival. She graciously greeted us, has an amazing attitude, and even let us borrow a phone charger late at night since we forgot our own! She had such lovely energy and made our stay extremely comfortable. The hotel restaurant was also beyond our expectations, surprisingly great food and hospitable and great staff!

Honestly not pleased with this place considering the price and the room did not have a microwave or bath tub, hot tub was not included, and breakfast was not included. We paid over $410 for 2 days. We tried to cancel our reservation the second day as we were in town for our son's event and wanted to get back on the road since we had to drive 8 hours. Unfortunately, the staff would not let us cancel as they needed a 48 hour notice. The overall stay was okay but I don't feel it was worth the price. The previous motel we stayed at was much cheaper and included a hot tub, bathtub, microwave, etc. unlike the Aloft.

Central location on Main St, Hotel with potential. Valet parking available, otherwise there is convenient parking across the street. Nice rooms, excellent customer service Cons: room ac units are on the noisy side. Breakfast served with one way cups and utensils, boxed in plastic, can easily be improved. Corridors leading to the rooms are darker than found in other hotels

Great downtown location! Beds were comfortable and staff were very nice. Kevin, who worked the front at night, was wonderful and always willing to give recommendations, go get things for us, and to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend this hotel!

I've got to say something about the customer service I got from one of the staff at this excellent hotel. Her name is Payton Stone. Everytime that I checked in she went above and beyond her job and made my stay so easy and pleasurable. The issue or question I had was dealt with professionally and got my needs met. She is very easy to talk to and can make you laugh which is hard to come by. I hope she gets recognized for the 5 star service that she gives your guest.

Our stay was amazing. We were there for the national beta club convention. Staff was excellent especially Kevin..he had to make several runs to our room and he was pleasant every single time and never complained..they welcomed us each time we walked in the hotel and when we left they would speak. Everything was in walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.

Came on business (Louisville, Ky) and was happy with the hotel staff. Especially Kevin!! He was so attentive and made sure i was well taken care of. Room was very nice and clean. Had an amazing view in 822 of downtown Louisville. Hotel lounge was such a nice atmosphere with games and pool tables. Food was amazing!!!

What a lovely hotel! The location is perfect the we loved hanging in the lobby with our group. Kevin was VERY helpful when many of us had dirty or no ice bucket baggies in our rooms. We understood it was probably an oversight by a new employee, but he gave us complimentary breakfast coupons and drink coupons. Very nice. He was very friendly and helpful!

Kevin was a great hostess. He was very attentive and assisted with all of our needs. Our housekeeper didn’t come to change our sheets and once I notified Kevin he insured a staff member was on it. Great service. Perfect location and great wait staff at the bar; the blonde lady was efficient and checked in frequently. Definitely would come back when in town!

Location is perfect, right in the middle of the bourbon row area. Staff was great, very helpful and polite. Kevin at the front desk was great, he got us checked in very quickly and answered all our questions about the area. Hotel was also very quiet, no issues with noise from the outside. Only issue I have was the room setup. The area with the toilet and shower is separated with a door, but it doesn't have its own light switch. So, when a person needs to use the bathroom they have to turn on the light in the sink/closet area as well. Not fun in the middle of the night.

We arrived on Thursday, 11/2/23. When we arrived with two other couples, we had booked our rooms separately through a third party site. However, there was no reservation found for me and my husband. As I immediately start to freak out; the younger man at the desk, Kevin, told me not to worry. He told me different was to try and look up my confirmation number. When I couldn’t find it, he said there was still a room available. He was so nice and understanding. As I started to calm down and just pay the price my friends paid and additional $160 the rooms cost now, Kevin did give me a ticket for 2 free breakfasts. I’m not sure if that was what he was supposed to do but it definitely made me feel better. He even remembered us by name as we would come in and out of the lobby. It made us feel special and I loved that personalized attention. I found all of staff to be super friendly which is unfortunately not the norm in today’s hospitality work. Thank you so much!!!

Kevin was amazing. He blocked a room across from us so that our friends could be close since we were celebrating one of their birthdays. The Hotel is clean and all the stuff in the Lobby to do is amazing. It is in a great location. Near all the amazing bars and restaurants.

Our car battery had died in the self-park garage when we had a 90 minute drive ahead of us. Lulu, Jamal, and Ryan came to the rescue! They went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Our entire stay was wonderful. We received stellar customer service from the moment we walked in. We brought our dog with us and loved the pet friendly features like treats and dog beds! We will definitely be staying here again. You have a great team!

I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must commend Kevin for his exceptional service. He was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly appreciate the outstanding service provided by Kevin and would gladly return to Aloft in the future.

Great front desk staff, very helpful and explained all the amenities! We had Kevin and he was great! Room is beautiful and modern. Not as large as used to (stay as residence inns mostly) but nice for 1-2 people.

I came to Louisville for a wedding on Sept 3rd and stayed at the Aloft for 2 nights. The location was great and everyone that worked there was so nice. I especially had the pleasure of meeting one of the Guest Service Members, Kimberly Andrews. She was one of the most pleasant, accommodating, patient, and kindhearted people that I've ever dealt with in my travels and hotel stays. Kimberly went out of her way with me on a situation with my bill, as well as providing excellent customer service to others. She makes this location shine and I would hands-down, 100% hire Kimberly for my company because she truly is an asset to the workplace. Praise her for a sincerely well done job!!

Easy and comfortable place to stay when passing through Louisville. Pet friendly as well. Wish the bar with over 110 whiskeys would be open later, but they are in a good location to head out and grab a drink. Staff friendly and never had issues. Room cleanliness can sometimes be an issue, but room service is very quick to rectify any issues.

We usually like to stay in at least 4 star hotels but Aloft met all our expectations. Breakfast was yummy and rooms very clean. All staff, from cooks to front desk to valet were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. I would suggest a little more cushion on the mattresses.

Nice hotel and pretty good location in Louisville. Lots of restaurants and bars within a couple minutes walk. The bar inside the hotel is great too with friendly service, great cocktails and games to play. Rooms are a little compact, but have everything you need. Would stay again.

10/10 would recommend and can not wait to return! First time staying and can whole heartedly say this is our new favorite brand. Traveling with dogs can be hard and pet fees often pile up. This hotel welcomed the fur babies no pet fee, had incredible atmosphere at the bar and lobby. Perfectly situated so we could walk around downtown and to the water. Hotel is either brand new or kept incredibly well. Matt assisted us during booking and check in. If he’s not the manager he should be promoted, if he is the manager give that man a raise! The rest of the staff encountered was also very pleasant! It is truly a hard time for Hotel employees however, this staff didn’t let that show through to their guests at all. We appreciate your hard work! We wish we had stayed longer but look forward to planning another trip back soon! -Edwards Family

Very dog friendly! No pet fees. Modern clean and spacious room. Great location! Phenomenal customer service! Room was priced a little high. Breakfast would be great for anyone but me. I'm allergic to eggs and only had two options. The granola oat meal with fruit was just okay.

Perfect place for a peaceful stay. Rooms are perfect. Beds were super nice and comfy. Shower had great water pressure! EVERYONE is super friendly, caring, courteous, and helpful. It is convenient (to walk or drive) to a lot things. Definitely will recommend to others and will definitely stay here again.

Our experience at Aloft was fantastic! We were happy with the amenities in the package we purchased (which included parking, breakfast, and a 1pm late checkout). The fact we could bring our dog made our lives much easier. The park nearby was super convenient to walk our pup to and honestly we hardly heard any other dogs in hotel which was awesome. Primarily, it was the service that made our stay the best. Unfortunately, our room did have an issue with the A/C not working (in that it wouldn't bring the temperature down), but Kim was empathetic, patient, and helped us find a resolution. The workers were always super friendly and approachable and with Stephen and Kim being the absolute best front desk workers we've ever had the experience of interacting with, it definitely made us happy with our choice to room here.

The hotel and our room were nice but the customer service by hotel staff was horrible and embarrassing. Our room was nice and clean when we got there, the A/C worked really good and beds were really comfortable. And now onto the customer service… when we checked, we asked the front desk clerk if she had any recommendations for a pizza restaurant within walking distance. She told us she didn’t know anything about the area and recommended us googling something. After we went to our room, we found that our sink was clogged and called down to the front desk. We were informed that maintenance was gone for the night and they would leave a note for him. It would have been nice if they just moved us to another room but no. The next morning, we headed out for breakfast and came back around 10:30am to find our sink still clogged. We called down again and the snooty clerk said, ”We told you last night it would be looked at today. The maintenance guy was informed.” We left the hotel and came back in the afternoon and the maintenance guy was in our room fixing to the sink. We noticed it was around 4pm and our room hadn’t been made up. On the way out for dinner, I advised the clerk that our room hadn’t been made up yet, in which she replied that they only “refresh” the rooms every 3 days but we were welcome to bring down and swap out any linens. We went out that night and got home around 11:30pm and had planned to head out at 4:30am. When we got to the hotel, the valet stand was gone and no one was around, we asked the clerk what were the best options for our car, especially with our early arrival. The male clerk got snooty and said, “our valet is 24 hours, just leave your keys with me.” After we checked out of the hotel, I thought that I lost something so I called the hotel to see if they found my property. They took my name and number and told me the housekeeping supervisor would call me in the morning. I received no calls. I called again later the next day, explained the situation. They said the housekeeping supervisor was there, took my information and said they would call me back shortly. No call ever received. So, if you want to stay in a nice 3 Star hotel with zero customer service downtown Louisville within walking distance of many attractions and dining options, I would recommend this hotel. I personally would not stay at this hotel again.

I have a job that requires a lot of travel, so I've stayed at a lot of downtown hotels. Aloft is hands down my favorite. Always clean, always amenable. And the staff is incredibly kind. One shining star example is Kevin, he recognized me from a previous visit and greeted me by name without even having to check the computer. I always feel so welcome here.

The staff was amazing! Thank you Annetta, Kim( front staff)and AJ (the bar tender). The drinks were great. Room was clean. Towels ordered and came quickly. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. I love the dry bar products. We will definitely be back.

The room seemed clean but had a funky smell when you entered the room. Some of the staff seemed friendly. However, service was not so great…. I had to wait over an hour for toilet paper…. I called to the front desk 2 times within 1.5 hrs of waiting. Might I add I had young’s kids with me. Was promised that someone would personally bring it up… eventually after another 20 minutes of waiting again for this person to bring it up… I had to walk downstairs to the front desk and grab them myself.. staff I spoke to was just playing on her cellphone along with 2 other workers just chatting away… when I asked the woman who I spoke to over the phone 20 Minutes ago who had promised she would personally bring toilet paper up, she admitted it was her and that she was waiting for someone to relieve her so she could come up. This was definitely a lie because there were a total of 3 people by the desk doing NOTHING! Not too happy about this especially since I’m paying good money to stay here for a few days with my family.

The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful, I can't say enough good things. Not just one person either, every one of them from the valet to the front desk person so the person at the check-out for breakfast. I had two dogs with me and they all LOVED the dogs. I also thought the location was perfect (especially having dogs and only being a block away from a park). I also very much enjoyed the food.

Beautiful boutique property. Top notch staff! Free wifi (thank you!). Great location with parking directly across the street! I had the best sleep on that dreamy bed. Check out everything Aloft has to offer! This was the perfect stay and I highly recommend Aloft to travelers heading to Louisville.

There's a bevy a reasons for why I always choose this hotel when I visit Louisville, the main reason is the staff. Don't get me wrong, the room is great, couldn't be a better location from everything in the city, and the bar makes a very tasty Old Fashioned. But I come back because of the amazing staff, namely Kim at the Front Desk. In a time where customer service is lacking, she over exceeds in that department. Her southern warmth, knowledge of the city, and her ability to be personable will forever be the reason I keep coming back. Great for another amazing stay, Aloft!

Great, dog-friendly, value hotel that doesn’t sacrifice style, cleanliness, or amenities for the price. Parking isn’t seamless but the garage is across the street. The cost of in-and-out parking privileges add up so plan ahead. Above all the hotel staff and service was spectacular. Shoutout to Angelique and Kim who did everything they could to make our family’s stay a fantastic experience!

This place was wonderful! Our room was beautiful and very clean! Anything we needed, they took care of right away. Staff was very friendly and the bar tender was wonderful! Very polite and friendly, even sat and talked with us since we were from out of town. Gave great advice on places to explore and eat. Fun activities and distilleries within walking distance. I would recommend 100 times over again!

Wasn’t a fan of the city, but this hotel was one of the highlights. Electric and central and extremely great service. Kevin was amazing and the morning receptionist was very kind as well though I forgot to get her name. Will definitely be staying again if we’re in the area. Loved their little shop with food and drinks to grab.
