0 Stars isn't enough. TLDR- EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISRESPECTFUL. GM Robert Cecil told me he was calling the police because my wife brought our dog into the hotel. My wife and I had been traveling across the country with our dog and chose this hotel because they advertise on Priceline as being "Pet Friendly". Our day was planned around stopping at this hotel and we arrived at approximately 7:20 pm. While my wife checked in she told the front desk assistant that our dog was with us expecting a pet fee and was not informed that pets were not allowed. After checking in I took the bags up to our room while she went to park with my phone still in the car (this becomes pertinent later). Once she entered the lobby with our dog and reached the elevator the same woman who assisted her at check in told her that dogs aren't allowed and demanded her room number. With me up in the room and no phone my wife said she needed to come get me so we could leave. When she got to the room and informed me of what happened we were both obviously upset that we would not be able to stay. She immediately began making phone calls to find a hotel that would accommodate us and our furry friend while I began to repack our suitcases. Within a minute our room phone range and the woman at the desk began asking if I had a dog and telling me that we had to leave. I informed her that we did, my wife told me what happened in the lobby, and that we were leaving momentarily. A few minutes later the phone rang again and it was the GM Robert Cecil. On the call he told me that I had to get out or he would be calling the police. When I tried to explain that I had just spoken to someone at the front desk and we are about to leave he became extremely aggressive and said that if we were not out in 10 seconds that he was calling the police and quickly escalated that to telling another employee to call the police. If this is the way the employees here treat people over a misunderstanding between the hotel policy and what they advertise on 3rd party sites after we made it clear at check in that our dog was with us I cannot warn you against staying here strongly enough. Robert Cecil has ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS being a manager after the way he treated me and my wife. I hope the owner of this location reads this and is able to reach out, I would love to discuss further with you. With nowhere else to go we ended up next door to the Marriot Bonvoy location where Arielle at the front desk was extremely helpful getting us a room and informed me that you own both locations.

Great room, comfy beds and pillows. Clean. Room had microwave, mini fridge, and single Keurig. Breakfast was wonderful and the waiter was so nice and friendly. Staff was nice. Pool was cold the first day but was warm the second day. Would stay again.

Only reason I'm giving two stars is because this is a gorgeous hotel. However mine and my wife's experience was terrible. We stayed to relax and get away was our daughter's 18th birthday. We were attending lights under Louisville. Well last just say older gentleman at front desk was very rude. Also our room was great however our bathtub was very sharp on bottom wasn't comfortable to stand in or sit in was sharp like something was supposed to be over it or needed sanded or something. We stayed room 209 on 12/10 and checked out 12/11.. also we stayed here because u can sleep in and check out at Noon. However we were woke up to maintenance knocking at 8am I opened door he said nevermind. Then woke back up at 9am even with do not disturb on my door. This time it was housekeeping.. I let them know we weren't ready still sleeping. They knocked again at 9:17. I let them know again we aren't ready we are showering and getting grandkids ready. I can't make this up..they knocked again at 10am when we finally just left and checked out. I didn't even get my shower. I just felt really rushed. We complained to front desk, he said we weren't only ones to complain about same thing today. However no apology. We will not stay at this location ever again. We love the holiday inn brand they never disappoint. However this trip very disappointed ☹️

A nice clean facility. Convenient location to interstate and food. Tremendous hotel breakfast. Very good and vast. Unfortunately they serve the same thing daily. Switching it up every now and then would be phenomenal. Nice indoor pool also. Free shuttle service to airport. Staff is decent.

**WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!** The room smelled like sweat. They refused to let us have more than four towels when we are a family of five. Lastly, they DOUBLE charge us ahead of time for incidentals and told us the funds would be returned upon check out. Funds were never returned and the staff/manager told us there was nothing they could do. WORST EXPERIENCE ever! We are now out of $300 dollars. We are still fighting to get out money back!!!!!

As a frequent hotel guest, this one is a good choice overall. Check in process was good, outside and inside appearance was up to date and clean. Room was clean and the most important, the bed was great. I looked at the fitness center, pool and eat a Caesar grilled chicken salad and it Was good too. I was concerned about noise being close to airport. Was not an issue at all.

Rooms are clean. Ran into some booking issues with some sold out dates/corporate booking etc. however the staff bent over backwards and got us taken care off. Thank you!!! Breakfast is great. We stay for long periods of time for work so I wish they had 24hr coffee (we work 3rd shift) but no biggie we brought our own coffee pot lol.

I really had a good stay at the hotel. Overall comfortable bed, clean room and plenty of options to eat nearby (walkable). All day airport shuttle every 30 mins.

Great room. Love that they've upgraded from the sliding curtains to the much sleeker roll-up shades. Also, many thanks for the many charging options 8 USB and 13 regular plug-ins to choose from. And that little area with the shelf and mirror was very useful. Very comfy beds, and the room was clean.

I stayed at the Louisville Kentucky Holiday Inn. First time visiting Louisville. I was there for a wedding. The hotel was nice and clean. Comfy beds. The breakfast was great. Never had it like that in a Holiday Inn. Great location. Close to airport downtown and other places. All said reason for 3 stars the staff was not very friendly. They need to brush up on customer service 😒

Booked ahead of time, called a day ahead regarding early check in (advised to call back closer to the time of arrival the following day), called the day of while traveling (confirmed room was ready as I was 45 minutes out), arrived and checked in, headed to reserved room and someone was in the room (caught by surprise), headed back downstairs (not sort of sympathy, apology or explanation), placed in another room, room was decent but the toilet didn’t flush all weekend (unless I took the lid off and lifted the equipment until the water filled). Not worth the shock of entering someone else’s room, the inconsideration of placing me in a room with a manual toilet, the price or the lack of follow up when requested after checkout. Stay elsewhere.

The night clerk and Bar Inn server were wonderful. Dinner at the Bar Inn was very good, we had burgers and fries and the kids had chicken strips and Mac n Cheese. The pool was freezing cold, not enjoyable even for the kids who usually don't mind cold water. Breakfast, despite being described as hot from a full service kitchen, was buffet style and was out of several items, toast was premade and hard as a rock, and the coffee was brown water with grounds in it. I wouldn't recommend paying the extra for breakfast here and instead grab it at Subway or Ntaba Coffee Haus right down the street, Ntaba has great coffee. The maid service started knocking at our door at 9am and tried to enter twice despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign being placed on the door and checkout being 12pm. When we were leaving the maid service had parked their cart right in front of our door causing us to have to move it to leave the room.

My only complaint about this place, the airport shuttle is first come first serve. If I had known that, I would have booked a different airport hotel. I did call the day before asking about the shuttle, the lady said they do that when you check in, by then the time I needed was already taken. I had to sit 2 extra hours at the airport for my early morning trip. The hotel is clean, night clerk was nice. I didn’t use any of the other services at this hotel.

👍👍 We were so impressed with our stay at this hotel. We stayed on a Tuesday night - so it was not busy but we did not expect how quiet it would be! It was awesome! We stayed in the King Suite - it was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Beautiful room. I’ll be honest - I’ve not been in a hotel so cl...
