I will never stay with this hotel or company ever again. After 1.5 hours of calls trying to work out a late check-in, we agreed on a $50 fee, in addition to paying for the booked night we had pre-payed for. After we got into the hotel we found roaches everywhere, in the drawers, on the walls, and on the floor, with evidence in the beds as well. After talking with the front desk attendant we agreed to look at a different room due to being unable to cancel via our 3d party booking company. The second room had no bugs. We moved our things over and as we were prepping to sleep we discovered blood splatters on the walls, and the floors were so dirty our socks came away black after only a few passes across the floor, in addition to a few pieces of fish-shaped hard cat food on the floor. The bathroom doorknob was clearly broken but re-attached with a few screws in the wood. There was damage on the walls and some hardened pink goo we could not identify. When housecleaning came they only gave us a few more towels but did not take the dirty ones or change our full trash can. I could not get a refund due to booking through a third party service but would have left the first night and gone somewhere else if I had the chance. We attempted to get more photos of the roaches but of course, they scurried when we opened drawers and turned lights on. I would not stay here, and of course not in room 131.

First of all, the employees are friendly and sweet. But I can't say the same for the room I stayed in. I stayed there for 10 days. The room was not super clean. It was moderately clean. Every morning when I woke up, I saw that I had redness on my hands and face. At first I didn't care, but a new one was added every day and I realized it was a bug. When I realized this, I had to rent an Airbnb home.

My family stayed a week, I believe the service earned a 5star, everyone was polite and always asked if we needed anything. Front desk, Amber, was especially helpful after a couple of misunderstandings, regarding length of time and quantity of rooms. Breakfast is sufficient and basic, expected for price of hotel. My only complaint is the carpets definitely need to be replaced, they are super filthy, brand new white socks will be black after walking on it after a short while. Also fyi, bathrooms are a tight fit, it is non smoking hotel, although room would smell like smoke some days 🤷‍♀️ Right next to airport so can hear and see planes take off.

First room we were assigned had a horrible cigarette smoke smell even though there are no smoking signs everywhere. The sheets are ripped up and the rooms are just dirty. I would never stay here again. Makes you feel like you’re in a run down trailer park.

This place is the best around! Staff are friendly and helpful. The rates are unbeatable from this area thru Dixie hwy, especially when you consider how nice the rooms are compared to others. They tend to you at your request but then don't invade you're privacy at all, unlike a couple of the Dixie hwy cheap rentals! Thanks for several days of staying at your hotel! Highly recommend to everyone!

We stayed twice in one week. On the way to sioux city, iowa and on the way back. Both experiences were very polite and helpful. The first lady was helpful as we were arriving very late. The last trip, Mayra, was so nice and very accommodating. Our rooms were clean, smelled fresh, stocked and the beds were super comfortable. We are pleased.

It could have been a bit cleaner (carpets and bathroom molding). The linens were spotless, and there was coffee and a coffee maker in the room. Light breakfast in the little cafe. The desk clerk was very nice and helpful.

My husband and I are staying in here for the Bourbon & Beyond festival. This may be an older hotel and the noise from the airport and highway may be a little annoying, but for the price you can’t beat it. The people at the front desk are some of the nicest most accommodating people I’ve ever had the pleasure to encounter at a motel. The whole staff deserve kudos. Clean rooms and comfort beds also. I’ll definitely be booking this place for future festivals!

We had a nice clean room and the desk clerk was so very nice and helpful on Sunday night when we arrived. . The breakfast wasn't as nice as I had hoped it would be... Bagels would have been nice and some sweet rolls with out all the fillings.. glazed donuts would have been nice and some decaf coffee....

No ATM and can only use bills for vending machine. Got one roll of toilet tissue for 3 people and ladies not so hospitable. None smoking! GOOD ac. Near airport. 12 min drive to Greyhound bus station! Kentucky is definitely not the state for me. Never coming back. NY here I come!

We wanted some where close to Kentucky Kingdom and this was perfect. We showed up before check in and the lady at the front desk let us go ahead and check in, she was very nice and helpful with info about Kentucky Kingdom. My only complaint is there's no mini fridge

This hotel is great if you just need a place to stay for the night. Great price and has the essentials. The room was comfortable but the hotel needs some updating. Our flight got in after midnight and we called for the free shuttle that was there in less than 10 minutes. Very comforting and convenient for the tired traveler. The continental breakfast is fair with just cereal, oatmeal, fruit, toast and some pastries and coffee. No frills but satisfactory for my needs. Great Wi-Fi. You will hear traffic noise and some airplane traffic but one should expect this when staying near an airport. I would recommend this hotel for short stays as it has what you need to get some sleep. If you are the picky type and want the best of everything go to another place and spend a lot more money. The shuttle even took us back to the airport the next morning so we could get a rental car. I was very satisfied and would stay here again.

I should have gone to the desk and complained, and asked for another room. I didn’t, because I assumed the same housekeeping staff would have cleaned all the units. The room was not clean. My grandkids found French fries under the table, a hat left by another guest next to the bed, and in the morning I noticed a washcloth wrapped around the shower head. There was almost no hot water, I showered in chilly water, only because I was traveling at 0600 for 14 hours. The TV didn’t work, the toilet was wobbly on the floor. The curtain was not hooked or hanging correctly on the rod. And there was a huge gap between the door and door frame that let in cold air. I couldn’t sleep wondering if the linens on the bed had even been changed. The non smoking room still had lingering smoke smell. I would rate this at 3/10 because at least the door locked, and the heat worked and they have a free shuttle. I picked it because it was close to the airport, and cheap. Never again.

The noise from the road and airport make it impossible to get any sleep. Room smelled and was dirty. Don’t make my mistake, pay a little more for a better place.

Great place! The place is clean and the staff is friendly. To save money when traveling, get free parking with Rodeway! If you stay with them the night before your trip, they allow you to park your car on their property for free!

We thank the ladies at the front desk who were very kind and helped us during our stay!! Our room was clean, well stocked, wifi was great, and the beds were comfortable. We liked the convenient location to the highway and sites we wanted to visit in Louisville. We felt safe while we stayed there and enjoyed the breakfast they provided. We'll definitely keep Rodeway Inn in mind for any future trips!!

Can't believe we had made a reservation last year for again this year and now a company bought them out they are wanting to charge us triple the money We will never go back there! And we was there ever year and while there we would go ahead and reserve for the next year... the new company should keep the people reservations that they already had!

Studio 6 (Motel 6) bought this hotel and did not honor previous reservations. They jacked up the rates for the same room and time. My original $131/night room rate was increased to $309/night.

Nice little place to stay. Private and nice staff. Cheaper than most and clean. I'll stay again for sure.

Decent for its price. But my non smoking room was smelling cigarette and the cleanliness of the room is not the best!

👍👍 We were so impressed with our stay at this hotel. We stayed on a Tuesday night - so it was not busy but we did not expect how quiet it would be! It was awesome!
