I
don't
generally
write
reviews
about
hotels
unless
something
is
very
good
or
not
good,
but
I'm
hoping
this
will
help
you
make
an
informed
decision.
First
the
good:
The
staff
was
fabulously
friendly
and
helpful.
The
room
was
well
appointed,
clean,
had
a
nice
little
kitchenette,
and
was
spacious.
I
was
on
the
7th
floor
in
room
723.
The
elevators
both
worked
the
whole
week
I
was
there
and
were
exceptionally
speedy.
Pickup
area
for
Uber,
etc.
is
safe
and
convenient.The
location
is
good
if
you
need
to
be
downtown
to
attend
a
Cardinal's
game,
etc.
The
not
so
good:
Parking
is
horrible!
You
have
to
park
in
a
parking
deck
that
is
poorly
lit
and
has
a
filthy
elevator.
You
carry
your
luggage
from
the
car
(almost
always
parked
on
the
3rd
or
higher
level
because
the
first
several
levels
are
reserved)
to
the
elevator,
through
the
flow
of
garage
traffic,
over
two
curbs,
through
a
rock
area
of
about
six
feet,
to
the
sidewalk
that
takes
you
to
the
hotel.
This
is
not
for
anyone
that
is
disabled
or
wishing
not
to
get
wet
in
the
rain.
And
for
this
you
pay
$25
a
night.
A
downtown
hotel
should
have
valet
for
that
price
given
that
parking
garage
situation.
Rooms:
There
is
one
row
on
each
floor
with
a
decent
view
(of
the
main
road
and
it's
buildings).
This
faces
the
front
of
the
hotel.
The
rest
of
the
rooms
look
out
over
some
pretty
nasty
rooftops.
The
room
I
was
in,
was
very
quiet
being
at
the
end
of
the
hall
(a
plus
for
me).
The
room
A/C
will
not
turn
off.
You
can
set
it
to
off,
but
it
doesn't
stop
so
by
mid
afternoon
it's
freezing
in
the
room.
Downtown
is
considered
a
"food
desert"
by
the
locals
and
they
are
correct.
There
are
no
food
markets,
drug
stores,
or
budget
restaurants
close
by
the
hotel.
Expect
to
pay
$18
for
a
hamburger,
$20
for
a
taco
salad,
etc.
at
a
few
places
within
walking
distance.
Finally,
it
is
a
pet
friendly
hotel
and
the
staff
is
very
kind
about
pets.
I
do
not
regret
taking
my
small
dog
but
I
mention
it
because
there
is
no
grass
for
potty
duty
unless
you
walk
several
blocks
to
a
municipal
park.
There
are
a
few
wood
chip
or
rock
areas
(approx
3-4
feet)
that
surround
some
of
the
trees
that
are
installed
in
the
sidewalks,
but
that's
all.
The
frontage
road
is
very
busy,
hold
tight
to
your
pooch.
A
little
dog
did
fine
but
I
wouldn't
want
to
try
it
with
a
large
dog
(hope
that
helps).
Final
note...stop
at
the
front
of
the
hotel
to
check
in
before
going
to
the
parking
garage!!
They
need
to
give
you
a
pass
to
use
the
garage.
This
should
honestly
be
sent
in
an
email
prior
to
your
arrival.
