Woke up to a bug on my face! Talked to two other customers who said they had to same problem with bugs. The manager promised I would get a full refund, but I did not. Room was in horrible condition. About 25% of the bathroom door was missing. Things melted into the carpet. Cigarette burns on the bedding. Personal security is an issue! The security lock on the door was missing. Smoke detector was covered with plastic which would make it inoperable. Look at the pictures and make up your own mind. I would NOT recommend this hotel to a homeless person much less friends or family!

Stay away from room 317. Stay away from this hotel. The front desk were nice enough. But my Lord, this was one the worst experiences of my life. This room was awful. 1st, the toilet constantly made some churning noise every 5 seconds. After you flush it, it'd sound like a lawn mower for a minute or more. The bathroom wall near the door had a hole with about 5 cockroaches coming in and out of it. The bed had cigarette holes in some parts of the sheets. Also, the brown blanket on top of the bed had some lady's hairs ALL over them. The lamp shades were slashed with what looks like a knife. The bathroom door had 3 holes in it, as if someone was trying to barge into it or punched it with their fist. Between the toilet constantly making noise and the discomfort of how unclean it was, and the cockroaches, i couldn't sleep. Yes, it is convenient with its proximity to the airport and to it's low price. But some things aren't worth going cheap on. An environment that feels uneasy and unsafe is never somewhere you should rest your head. Skip this hotel. Pay the extra money and get something nicer. Don't do this to yourself, you deserve better.

The mattress was probably along the same comfort as sleeping on the floor. The bath tub looked like a crime scene. The ac/ heater sounded like it had a short in I decided to go ask if they had any rooms that have been recently upgraded so he switched me rooms. Upon initial inspection it appeared better. This one had a more comfortable bed a clean bathroom so I thought I was doing good until I attempted to turn on the AC./ heater which did not work at all it would not even turn on. Luckily it’s only one night. I won’t be back to this location.

Was under the impression the rooms looked like the pics: fridge, microwave, updated. Got there and it looked like my room was in the middle of being renovated. The carpet wasn’t in the baseboards it was laid up against the wall, no fridge or microwave, and roaches everywhere. No for sure signs of bed bugs but got bites all over me that looked like bedbugs. Told the front desk and they didn’t offer to refund my money or anything. DO NOT STAY HERE. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Foot prints on the ceiling, semen stains on the floor, chronically leaking sink drain, mold, fire alarm dangling by wires. Carpet is so soiled it's coming up about every 2 feet creating trip hazards. The smell. Key card machine wasn't working so I was told they would let me in the room once a day. Absolutely positively the most disgusting hotel room I've ever seen. Did not stay. Wish I would have taken more pictures but I didn't even want to touch my phone while in there. This one sums it all up nicely though. Super gross. Definitely DO NOT recommend.

Reserved room for 2 days while in town. Got there only to find holes in the sheets and carpets. Staff claimed we would only get a refund for one night even though we did not stay at all. Walked in the room and inspected it and immediately walked back out. They claimed they had no way of knowing if we stayed or not. We went to a completely different hotel in the end. Never Again Super 8

I wish I could give it zero stars. We just stayed here last night for the Kevin hart show. I’m not even sure where to start. Blood on the bathroom walls, we saw a cockroach as soon as we walked in the door, holes in the doors, stains on literally everything. Burn holes on the blanket. Like not one or two but at least 10. So noticeable. We didn’t get back to the room until 12am and that’s when we started noticing everything. I DID NOT WANT TO STAY. I’m not kidding I was contemplating getting my money back and sleeping in our car. If you’re just trying to find a cheap hotel room I’m telling you pay the extra money than stay here. I promise you. I also told the lady when we were checking out how disgusting it was she literally said “I know”. Like what the heck.

Cigarette burns all over bedding, mold on bathroom ceiling, ceiling above tub has sewage leaking into it. Not to mention the bed bugs. Walked in room and looked around. Turned around and walked out. Couldn't get my money back because booked through Expedia. Will try to get money back from them. Forgot to mention the smashed tile all over bathroom floor. Was unbelievable. NEVER STAY HERE

This place is horrible! Absolutely rat trap. Mattress was all springs and ancient. Bedding is old and in terrible shape. All hallways wreaked of weed. I was given one towel that was the size of a hand towel. Television was propped up against the wall, leaning against it, and the remote was broken. The employee was nice but couldn't do anything. They hadNO WATER in a vending machine or anywhere. Stay away from this dump.

This hotel double charged us and when we brought it to the attention of the front desk staff they said they could only take it to the GM and they wouldn't be there until morning. We were leaving and don't live in the state of Kentucky. Our tv never worked in our room and there were cockroaches in the room. I would definitely take your business elsewhere.

I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. Google said the price was $52, but it was actually $85($78 with AAA discount). In our first room, it was really hot and the blanket was covered in cigarette burns and blood, and there was no light bulb in the bedside lamp. We were moved to another room that was freezing and the heating vent was filled with dirt and debris. I asked the lady at the desk for a vaccuum to clean it out and she said she didn't even have one for the lobby. I told her I was afraid to turn the heater on and she said it'd be fine. The floor is sinking in, there's dirt everywhere, plaster on the floor. There's dead bugs and dirt on the walls, and at least one bug in the bathroom. We found another cigarette burn in the bed sheet, which is weird because it says that it's a 100% smoke free facility. This place is gross.

Stay away. First they violate ADA laws and a report has been sent to corporate. I informed the manager and the woman behind the counter that they are liable to get sued for asking questions that are against the law. Luckily I’m not sue happy or we’d be seeing them in court. Second the manager stated for the women behind the desk to do whatever she wanted then called her on the phone to tell her not to let me stay as we had too many pets. Service animals are protected under ADA laws and regulations. No person has the right to ask for identification nor medical condition. Also service animals do not count as pets. If the management would of handled this differently and chose to be educated I wouldn’t be posted this. Also there were used needles all over the parking lot and a homeless camp in the back of the property.

The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the airport. Otherwise avoid it. Toilet broke, tub is suuuuper dirty, floor in the bathroom broke as well. What really made me to this review was the towel situation. Take a look. If they put a towel like that for you, imagine the rest..

Dirty, smelly hotel! Had issues with our bathroom. No one helped us. Couldn’t use our room to the full extent because of the bathroom issue. Manager was suppose to call us and never did. Do not stay here! Smelled like mold all through the hotel.

Stay away! Looks are deceiving. The outside looked like it would be a decent place. So did the lobby. Signs everywhere say 100% smoke free, but as soon as you leave the reception area, it smells like smoke: the elevator, hallways, and rooms. And I guess the signs don't apply to employees. If they would pull up all the carpet from this place, maybe (and I mean maybe) it won't be as bad. I had to buy Fabreeze and spray the whole room (carpets, drapes, walls, bed, even the AC filter) to calm the smoke smell. Also, one of the days I stayed, there was no breakfast. I asked the front desk employee about it and said the employee who handled the breakfast called in sick and that there would be none that day. I'm sure this wasn't the first nor will it be the last time this happens. Hello? Cross train others so they don't sit on their butts doing nothing and then go outside to smoke right at the doorway! And you know they won't make any type of adjustment to the bill. Utterly disappointed. Won't be staying at this place again. Sad that they are representing Wyndham Hotels and giving them a bad name. I have a feeling that many of those giving high reviews are friends and family members of this place.

Signs are posted that it's supposed to be 100% smoke free but that's clearly not enforced...a walk through the corridors and a stay in a room is enough to realize that the smell of cigarettes permeates the entire building. Location is convenient, but our room is in need of maintenance. The bathroom door won't close. Shower curtain bar is affixed loosely. Where there was a handle in the shower stall are now two holes. But most of the equipment worked fine except for the in-room coffee maker.

I stay at a lot of places but I usually don't write reviews. After seeing all the reviews of this hotel has to write one of my own. The place is fine. Great mattress, clean, everything works. Its not glamorous but it's going to be one of the least expensive places in a very competitive area. My room did not have a refrigerator or a microwave but it had a good TV and all the great channels. The front desk was friendly and informative.

I expected better from Wyndham. Where can I even begin? Basic amenities like a fridge and microwave are not available. Good luck trying to get one into your room. My faucet was broken, room was beat up and “sort of” clean, and the elevators refused to work from time to time. If you have any questions, the property manager is never available. Please, go somewhere better, even if you have to waste an extra 10-15 dollars.

DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO END UP WITH A **BEDBUG** infestation. The staff was very nice but immediately upon entering our room we seen 6 cockroaches, then when I went to get in the bed a big fat bedbug was just chillin there, we had to leave because ew, and now go spend even more money elsewhere. Just save yourself the time. They make enough money with how packed the parking lot is to rectify these issues that they’re well aware of and choose not to do that.

There were bugs in the first room that were not shy. Therefore I was relocated to a room downstairs. There were bugs in that room as well. The water never got hot. As a matter of fact it was ice cold 🥶.

Would be 5 stars but room service didnt knock once our 3 nights there. Breakfast is okay enough to get you up. But the room is great.

If I could do negative stars I would. Wanted to move from a second floor room to a 1st floor room. My room was full of cockroaches and I loss my roommate that I was splitting the expenses with because of it. Room was filthy. Was reimbursed for two nights because I moved to another room but wasn't reimbursed the taxes for the two nights. Almost $30. This place needs to be shut down. Attorney General office should be contacted

Not the best Hotel. The lady at the front desk was nice, but the room was garbage. No phone, the door barely opened and closed, bathroom not fully cleaned, there were stains all over the walls. The bed was not comfortable, it sunk in the middle and to get out of bed I literally had to roll out. Definitely do not recommend.

This is bar far one of Louisville's absolute worst hotels. The room was so out dated. The towel racks were never reinstalled, the room was smoldering hot and very humid and there were no washcloths or hand towels in the room at all. I asked the front desk for some and there were none to be found we were told. To top it off we caught the maid and the guy vacuuming in the hallway ear hustling the neighbors door. Very rude and uncalled for. They were not very polite or pleasant either. Will not return and will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

All I wanted was a shower and a night's rest. This place clearly has people who reside here. I got to my room and the shower didn't work. Had to change rooms after driving 15 hours across country. The rooms smell bad. There were holes in the blanket from cigarettes. They had the audacity to ask for a deposit for incidentals! I feel like I might need them to pay me for even staying after all that! I should get some sort of discount or a complimentary stay at one of the other super 8s. Wow Super 8 has really gone down hill!!!!!!!?

If I could give a negative star review I would, the staff were rude and wouldn’t allow my family in the room. rooms are dirty and covered in roaches. Things were broken and old blood stains were on the wall. F this hotel and the manager who yells at his employees and treats them like they aren’t a human being. Place should get taken down

Disgusting Staff was no help, no other rooms available even though parking lot was next to empty. Bed was decent but that was the only thing in the room that was Bathroom door wouldn’t close and every time we left the room we had to get our keycard recoded to get back into our room. Carpet was so sticky your shoes suck to it. The neighborhood was extremely sketchy. Never again management did nothing nor did Expedia!

The carpet in the room felt dirty to walk on. I had to wear shoes. There were roaches in the room. Corporate was helpful after the fact.

Booked a room with 2 beds in advance for 2 adults and a kiddo. On check in day, I called to let them know I was running behind but still planned to arrive the same day. The call dropped and when I attempted to call back no one answered. So I did the mobile check in through the Wyndham app thinking everything would be ok. I get there only to be told that they have no rooms available. After explaining to the guy that I did mobile check in and that I booked this room in advance he then tells me that they have a room available but its a single queen size bed. After telling him that would not work for us other wise that's what I would have booked to begin with, he offers to show me the room to see if maybe it will change my mind. Upon seeing said room, the bed is actually a full size bed that is way smaller than a normal full size but definitely bigger than a twin. I told him it wasn't going to work out, the 3 of us wouldn't fit on the bed. He apologized and sent us on our way. We ended up having to go to a different hotel. Later on I find out that they charged us $90 even though we did not stay and regardless of the fact they didn't even have a room available for us when we checked in. I tried to dispute this with the hotel and they said the charge is for a cancellation fee. I even tried to explain to them the situation of that day and that I should not be charged for a cancellation when I showed up but the hotel had no room available. The end result of this experience, they still have my money and I doubt I'll ever see it again. Be careful and I definitely do not recommend staying here. Besides bad business, the area is sketchy and I would not recommend but I was willing to look past that since our stay was only for one night.

They required a $50 CASH deposit. Upon checking out the girl/boy at the desk distracted me, plus I had a ton on my mind. So I forgot my deposit but returned back to the property within a few hours. Then I was told I forfeit my deposit when I checked out. This has been filed with the BBB. From the time I checked in the motel strong smell of weed/pot/cannabis. Seen several roaches. Nasty place for anyone to stay. .

Doors to the rooms don't shut all the way. You can see from the hallways inside even if the doors are closed & locked. Warm showers only work part-time. The cleaning ladies come into the rooms when you're not there. The breakfast is no good. No microwave. No fridge. Go down the street a mile or so & you can find better hotels. Nightly & weekly deals are better also.

  • 3/5 Stacy R. 1 year ago on Google
People were very friendly but when we got there, there was no TV in room, however they did get us one and we're prompt to it, but the bed had cigarette burn whole in comforter and the floors carpet is very old in hotel and outdated. Other than that for the price I'd stay there again cause it was cheaper than the others. Now the shower was nice hot and strong. So there's that.

Top 3 worst hotels I've ever stayed at. I pray I don't get bed bugs after reading all of the comments. It was honestly the first thing I thought of other than what looked to be a crack head out front. Myself and a group of 6 others were looking for a place to sleep while traveling for work. We unfortunately stopped here and paid far too much at $100 a person and found nothing but dissatisfaction, disappointment and disrepair. Issues found were terrible parking lot conditions almost twisting my ankle in one of their pot holes, no hot water in the rooms for at least two of our members, miller light bottle and other garbage left in the garbage can in the bathroom from previous guests which makes me wonder what else they didn't clean, also a smoke alarm that beeped all night, a toilet that ran all night, flooring that stooped down when stepped on like t had water damage and they just threw some lvp over it. A "Super breakfast" which consisted of cereal, bread, waffles, and doughnuts from a bag. This place needs a major renovation in staffing, maintenance, amenities and pricing!

  • 1/5 Mona A. 9 months ago on Google
This place is HORRIBLE WITH A CAPITAL H ! It has roaches at least 20 in each hotel room. The hallways stink , the maintenance is terrible.. the floors in the bathroom are filthy and literally leaking and pealing.. The works downstairs are rude , They put no effort into helping You with the simplest things like getting toilet paper. There’s no breakfast here in the morning nothing but cereal if that. They are ridiculous if I could give no stars I most definitely would have!!!!!

  • 1/5 Kamni T. 9 months ago on Google
I wish there could be a zero start option for this hotel. With this price of $75 its really very expensive. The room was not clean, sticky flooring, smelly and dirty blankets, no towel provided and the water was passing slowly from sink. Even there was no dustbin in bathroom. No microwave or refrigerator provided. Sealing we’re having cracks. Stinky alleviators. And breakfast was also not good. I wish I could have read the reviews earlier. I just booked this hotel because of the name of Wyndham but its really pathetic.

  • 2/5 Philip G. 10 months ago on Google
I have yet to stay in a Wyndham hotel that was good in Louisville KY. Days Inn and now Super 8. The ladies are very friendly and helpful. The room has holes in wall, ac didn't have control panel, roaches crawling out of one of the refrigerators and only certain rooms has fridges and microwaves. Will not stay in another hotel with Wyndham on the name.

The only reason I give two stars is because the excellence of the staff and continental breakfast. The women at the front desk made sure we were well taken care of and accommodated us as well as they possibly could. They offered a very accessible room for my mother who has a bum leg, waved the $50 security deposit when my bank was undergoing service issues and couldn't make withdrawals, and assured prompt service while being very personable. The room on the other hand was filthy and had a myriad of issues. First off, multiple lamps in the room did not have bulbs in them, and there was no overhead light to make up for that. The room smelled like mildew and wet dog when we first opened the door, which we thankfully had some air freshener to take care of some of it. Portions of the wall were cracked and stained, the toilet seat was smaller than the bowl resulting in an almost comically large gap, water damage and mold brought on by it was all around the shower, the tub and it's walls were excessively filthy to the point where we couldn't stand to bathe with it, the television remote was busted and inoperable with only a piece of tape holding it together, and me and my partner woke up to roaches in the bed with us. I've stayed in my fair share of budget hotels before, being from an impoverished family and dealing with bouts of homelessness, so i usually wouldn't put a place like this under such heavy scrutiny, but the conditions were nearly too much to handle. Thankfully we were only staying for one night as we passed through, otherwise I would have said screw it and walked out to find some place else. Though, we were surprised with how good the breakfast was in the morning, which honestly saved a little bit of our stay. Their selection was small, but namely the fresh waffles and donuts provided were incredible. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that can afford anywhere else. The staff were beyond amazing, the breakfast was delicious, but the rooms are what matter most and they are horrible.
