Was a lovely stay. We had some minor issues that we didn't even complain about such as the batteries in the thermostat seemed to need replacing and we were pretty sure the TV was supposed to be bigger. But the room was a great size and very comfortable.

Needed a little getaway and have enjoyed staying at Staybridge locations because of the larger suite-like rooms. The price was right so I booked for 3 nights. I had read some reviews that had me concerned, but had no complaints whatsoever with this hotel. Staff were very friendly--from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff. This looks like it was one of the first Staybridge properties built, but it has aged well and the rooms were clean, comfortable and roomy and seems updated. This location is very centrally located and there are numerous restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. The outdoor pool was not yet open. I would imagine it would be open for the summer months. I had their breakfast which was pretty good. Eggs, bacon, waffles....and the other normal hotel breakfast type items. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This was an experience and just wait until you unfortunately meet the front desk lady that is supposed to be the GM. She was very rude to me when I called to ask her questions on why she charged my friend a pet fee when he didn’t even have a pet, I did and I visited with my service dog that lives in Louisville. On top of that she continued to lie to me over the phone and said she expressed to my friend that he was going to be charged extra which she didn’t. The only thing that was expressed to me was have him on a leash.. I would of just taken my dog home if I would have known my friend was going to be charged. She also expressed there is signs all over the hotel saying you will be charged but again communication in this business is key and when I initially brought my dog in the first time and they said he just needs a lash that would have been a good time to tell us we were going to be charged. The hotel was not very clean, bugs all over the place. His refrigerator broke on him. Also the A/C was not cold or didn’t work because it felt like a Sauna when you walked in. I personally would not have anything negative to say but when I called to take to the GM she was very unhelpful and rude. She clearly has no customer service. Good luck if you plan on staying at this hotel.

Very friendly staff and dog friendly. We got in around 7pm and left at 5:30am, a short stay. I wasn't impressed with the outdated bath and the old dirty bathroom door, the carpets felt damp and sticky so I kept my shoes on, the kitchen was nicely stocked and clean. There is dining close by and a coffee shop a shirt distance away that was opened when we left. FYI, you have to pay to park in their parking lot, we weren't to excited about that.

We have stayed at other hotels in this chain and have enjoyed those experiences. We were under-impressed with this location. The staff was friendly and the facility clean. The hot breakfast buffet was good. Our room appeared to be in the midst of renovation. The threshold of the walk-in shower was missing tile. The grout in the shower had mold. The door inside the bathroom was prepped to be painted. The kitchenette - which has always been a plus for us - was lacking any cooking pots or utensils, and had only 1 coffee mug. The thermostat was located behind the television, which made it difficult to find and to adjust. The walls were thin; we heard the television in the room adjacent to ours at 10:00 pm. The mattress was uncomfortable.

An older property in desperate need of a deep cleaning, renovation, and new management. No hot water in the shower for the entire two day stay. Response from the front desk was to run the shower for 30 minutes and see what happens and that they were only employees and just doing their job. No hangars in the room and none available from the staff. Killed a large cockroach in the shower. Staff was not professionally attired - t-shirts, ripped jeans etc. - a minor detail, but evidence of a lack of professionalism. Simply not up to Staybridge standards. I do not recommend this property and will think carefully before booking another reservation at a Staybridge property.

Desk clerk, Francis, was SO helpful, going out of her way to iron out some minor issues we had upon checking in. Never losing that smile. Evening Social Time with appetizers was a nice touch. Breakfast was small but adequate and tasty.

For me it was awesome! The TV was a little strange to navigate. I know a strange thing to bring up but it was. They had free breakfast every morning and a decent dinner Monday through Wednesday. Not bad coffee! The rooms have everything but an oven. There were pots and pans and dishes to be used! They do charge for parking and I think that is strange since they are not downtown. 10$ a night at the time. 20ish minutes from downtown. It's not run down by any means but it did show it's age in the room. I would stay again!

Avoid this location. The “GM” is insanely disrespectful and doesn’t have to slightest clue in guest services. The site we booked through said we could check in at 18 but their website says 21. Understandable to not allow us to stay but denied us any refund and kicked us off the property. When my boyfriends mom called, she lied and said we were yelling at her and said she told us she would give us the full refund. Then emailed us and said she refunded us just to find out 2 weeks later she hadn’t refunded us. IHG is the saving grace of this location. They gave us points for a free night at any IHG hotel.

Nice, very! Rooms are spacious and clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the staff is fantastic! I think they were having a few issues during our 2nd stay as breakfast was hit and miss. This location will always be my 1st choice in Louisville.

Great experience. One of the best Stay Bridges I have stayed at. The hotel was very clean, great staff. Jess is the best, she puts you right at home. Thank you all very much.

My wife and I had the opportunity of staying in a King One Bedroom Suite at the Staybridge Suites Louisville-East location for one night while in town for business and we had an amazing experience here, from the staff to the breakfast! Angela at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay special and was so kind from the moment we walked in the doors. We had great conversation and were given clear directions on how to get to our room and everything we needed to know for our stay. We cannot thank her enough for her kindness! The breakfast staff was very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was excellent, everything was freshly made and the food stations were all very clean and organized. The value that you get from staying at these suites is unmatched. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room and bathroom were both clean and spacious. Quiet, safe location. We would definitely stay here again!

Very clean and spacious suite! Friendly and kind front desk staff. I think the lady I spoke to was Angela. Breakfast was great. So many tasty options--best I've seen at a hotel in a long time. Seemed like a decent neighborhood as well.
