This hotel has taken a HORRIBLE turn for the worse! Recent stay on 10/8/21 had large bugs crawling on the ceiling. Hotel front desk (lady), no name badge,- unprofessional and rude. Rooms were very dirty - we were in two rooms due to bugs and both filthy. I understand with the COVID pandemic not having daily maid service....but rooms need to be immaculate when guests arrive. This property had NO management on site or available. I was told a manager would contact me in 3 days upon returning. Actually, I did not hear from management until filing a formal complaint through Marriott Bonvoy. UNACCEPTABLE and NOT the Marriott standards!

Good stay - AC worked, Fridge worked... No issues of significance. See photos - minor stuff - one elevator out. Water pressure / shower head just so so. Ice only on 2 and 4... Would stay again. See photos - posted the usual ones. Bit of a maze to get into the place - just follow the GPS and then visual...

This hotel was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lucas checked us in and was amazing at helping with everything we needed. The beds are super comfy and the hotel is in a good location. You are within walking distance of so many stores and places to eat.

Not the best experience I've had with a Marriot. The evening employee was hard to deal with. Didn't do anything I asked for from putting in my rewards number or getting the room cleaned when I asked for it during my 5 night stay. Then sending me the wrong item I left behind after check out. And charging me for it.... When I come back to town I'll stay somewhere else.

Room was fine very limited amenities. Breakfast was a joke, bring yourself a cereal bar and warm orange juice and you can save a disappointing walk downstairs. Don't throw anything away in your room or use a towel either because there is no daily housekeeping

I stayed here while working nearby. I unfortunately stayed at the same time as a rude hockey team. I called to the front desk a couple times to ask them be quiet. The kids were running wild and the adults were intoxicated in the lobby. A worker named Hunter was doing her best to make them be quiet. I eventually walked down to the lobby to speak to the front desk and then I saw another night worker asking the adults to wrap it up because they had complaints from other guests. The way these people then treated this employee was deplorable. He told them a couple times he was just relaying the messages from upper management. The cops were eventually called because the adults were not having any of the rules from front desk. 🙄 Kudos to the staff and to the young man that took the brunt of 15 intoxicated people yelling at you, my hat off to you. I couldn't have done that. I will be staying here again in two or three weeks. I appreciate the employees taking care of ALL of the guests, not just the drunken hockey team wishes. I hope your upper management gives you an award or recognition for dealing with that mess.

My room wasn't cleaned when I keyed in. But the front desk promptly had it cleaned for me after I complained. I will say that I found no bugs and the bed was very comfortable. That's the most important thing to me.

First of all, service was great. Now, the fold out bed was nasty; However the king size bed was comfortable and clean. The pool didn't work at all which seems to be like the ice cream machine at McDonald's. Marriott please fix your pools, this is always a problem at your locations. Pool looks deceiving by the way, it's probably a 12×12 at best. The weight room was nice and the complementary peloton was great! The Bistro was good for breakfast and the older gentleman who helped us was the best. Beware, however, it's expensive. Online it claims the bistro is open at night, I can tell you on a Saturday night when the hotel is clearly packed for a soccer tournament, it is closed. So obviously someone missed out on soccer parents who are ready to unwind. I wouldn't rate this too high, in my opinion Marriotts are slowly going down hill in Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana.

Our experience staying here was incredible! We got in super late on our way from Wisconsin (3 am to be exact, we still had 9 hours to drive the next day so we decided to stop in Louisville. I booked the room only a couple of hours before we arrived.) and Joseph was surprisingly in a great mood. I booked a 2 queen room for my girlfriend and I through expedia because it was all that was available on the app, and we mentioned to Joseph that we would prefer a king if possible. He worked on it for a couple of minutes and then told us that he just switched us over to a suite and apologized for it being on the top floor because we clearly looked exhausted. At this point we hadn't registered that he meant a SUITE, and not just a room with a king bed so when we got into the room we were in awe. Keep in mind I booked this room for less than $70 so we weren't expecting much. The suite was huge, and smelled great (not the "clean" smell of typical hotel rooms, there was definitely an aromatic in the room and it was a nice surprise). There was a separate living room, bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom alone was comparable to a master bedroom and the living room was a similar size to a traditional hotel room so the suite was huge in comparison to the hotels we had been staying at all week. The bed was extremely comfortable, and everything was extremely clean. Once again, $70. Thanks again to Joseph for the vibrant attitude at 3am and for making a cheap hotel room the highlight of our trip across the country. We will definitely stop in again next time we're in the area!

Dear Marriott, individuals rent a Handicapped accessible room for a reason. The Handicapped shower apparatus in rm 107 is broke and has been from the looks of it neglected a longtime. I wouldn't transfer anyone to the filthy shower chair provided. I'm glad I didn't need their shower chair. I have trusted Marriott to provide for my travelling needs a longtime. Marriott do better. I also ask for a MOD. I was told no managers are scheduled the entire weekend. I don't believe this story. Also, no maid service is provided unless you request. Did they tell us that during check-in? No. So prepared to empty your own trash and ask for fresh towels.

We got to hotel at 3am. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the most professional customer service individuals I’ve ever encountered. My husband and I have visited places all of the world and this was unexpectedly one of our best customer service experiences. We have stayed at very expensive places that didn’t even care about our stay. But Joshua was EXCEPTIONAL. From his initial greeting us, to General courteous conversation, volunteering help and better room accommodations and just an overall quick and smooth checkin getting in that early. Yay Joshua your an excellent reflection for this company

Concierge was friendly, and efficient. Room was clean and updated. Comfortable place to stay and enjoy the local area. Plenty of parking, but if you have a semi…found a pad in the rear I was able to back into.

Conveniently located near several restaurants and shopping centers, this is a great place to stay for business or for pleasure. Rooms are clean and well maintained and the wait staff is friendly and helpful.

Very nice looking rooms and lobby. My only complaints are that the mini fridge doesn't have a freezer compartment. Also, travel routers do not work on the wifi without some mac address cloning and using a second router with the first one.

One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. Clean, comfortable and friendly, correction, EXTREMELY friendly staff. The "Starbucks" in the lobby was a real treat as we had to get up and out super early both days.

Very friendly staff and clean hotel. Would stay here again! The lady that worked at the restaurant in the evening took pride in making such delicious food and drinks. Great experience!

I like this hotel because of its proximity to I-265 and a number of nearby restaurants and shopping. The lobby area has a new-ish vibe and the exterior is well maintained. The Courtyard is consistently the lowest priced of the cluster of Marriott properties in this area, probably because it is the oldest. Aerial photos show this hotel being constructed in 2004. The most recent room updates appear to have been in 2014, based on manufacture dates of the microwave, fridge and mattresses in the room I'm in as I write this (TV was 2011). The desk was the original from 2004 and there are no USB charging ports in any of the rooms in which I've stayed. It's definitely time for an overhaul. The Fairfield across the street looks better all the time, but for now I'm cheap enough to stay here when I'm in town.

Booked a room. No issue. Arrived at hotel, front desk guy is on the phone with a friend running out to his car to get a phone charger? Alright. It happens. “Sorry sir, we bumped you to another hotel. Not a Marriott though. It’s a Wyndham with smoking and trash and people wandering around the premises in their pajamas. Here’s $45 in Marriott points. And uh no we can’t take you there even though it’s 20+ mins away. Thank you.” The Marriott location was phenomenal, which is why I booked there. Ended up 20-mins away, smelling like smoke, with a dripping shower. I did get $45.5 in Bonvoy points though. Yippee! Really shocked Marriott would pull a move like that. Appreciate the reschedule…just don’t reschedule me at a glorified motel?

Must be trying to catch up after COVID. One night there on the way through. Room was clean but no wash cloths. Some wear and tear around the place: carpets, dings, etc. The most interesting was the Bistro for breakfast. Looking at menu and I was told, “We only have one sandwich.” Okay, I’ll take two. “That will take 20 minutes.” Okay, can I have a latte? “No, we only have brewed coffee and only one type.” Okay, I’ll take a large coffee with the two sandwiches for my wife and I. “Sorry, we only have one size cup.” Do you have half-and-half? “Wait here. I have to go to another room and open a box to get that.” This is no joke. This conversation happened. 25 minutes later and $20 later I leave with two overcooked sandwiches and a small/medium coffee. At least the cup had a sleeve built in and the lid was firmly sealed. Nice cup. So, if you’re counting on the Bistro for breakfast, just keep moving on to another Marriott. I’m a Very frequent Marriott guest. There are better ones in the area until they get back to some sort of getting operations back to what’s expected at a Courtyard.

It is a very nice and clean place to stay. And the staff was very professional and extremely friendly. But there must've been a disconnect with housekeeping cause when we requested a room cleaning the bed hadn't been made up, the garbage had not been dumped, and toilet tissue hadn't been replenished. But the front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful when approached even the cool fellow who made my latte.

I wanted to post a view management might be surprised to read. During our stay we had a major problem. It was late at night and the hotel was not able to address the concern in full that late at night. We had a rough start to our trip and unfortunately it was due to a situation that could have been avoided. My comment is in relation to how the hotel management responded the very next day. We determined that this location was not a good fit for us but valued the Marriott name and trusted that they would correct the situation. They did. In fact the manager did compensate us for our first night and then found alternative accommodations within the Marriott system where we received a major room upgrade. As a manager, I know that sometimes your establishment does not opposite to the standards you adhere to. I was impressed with management going above and beyond to correct the issue for the remainder of our stay. Thank you so much.

Was on site for a 4-day business trip. The hotel was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful. They do have an onsite café for breakfast and some goodies to purchase when it is not open, there is a self-service laundry room for easy access to cleaning your clothes. I did not utilize the pool area but it looked well-kept and inviting. The grounds were kept up very well and the noise level throughout the facility was great. I stayed in a king room with a coffee maker and mini refrigerator. I was able to purchase some quick-fix items and store them in the mini while there making meal times much easier. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Their google photos show a hot tub and full breakfast plates, and I think some of their online descriptions are incorrect. They don’t have a spa/hot tub or free breakfast. The manager (I am assuming) told me that they filled in their spa with cement because they are “filthy like a toilet”. Great. Not sure what her implication was, either Marriott or this franchise in particular couldn’t keep things up to health code, or she was implying I want to do something gross, like swim in a toilet. I am sure someone told her to say that, so that people don’t get mad about there not being a spa. Stop saying that to your guests. The room was ok clean. And I would’ve stayed somewhere else with free breakfast if I had known they didn’t have it. Spend the extra $50 and stay somewhere nicer.

This was our first trip after the dempanic. We still love Marriott, although things have changed. There is now a Starbucks in the cafe. However it is understaffed and under-supplied. Same for room maintenance. Hoping it gets better as things settle in.

Great customer service as always. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. My room didn’t have a freezer in the small refrigerator and the front desk put my breastmilk cooler inserts in their freezer for me.

We got to the hotel and there is not much parking unless you go to the back lot. We went in and the lobby was pretty nice and everyone that worked there was great. We got our room and went up on the 4th floor. We opened our door and the room stunk so bad. We drove to the meijer and bought febreeze to try and get it to smell better. The hotel was paced and the pool is very small. TV in the room is very small with limited channels. If you don't plan on being in your room for anything other than to sleep it will do. But I didn't want to stay in that room for longer than I had to.

BED BUGS, my husband and I arrived and left out luggage in the room, we went shopping and went to see Where Crawdads Sing. Returned to the room and my husband found a bed bug under the bedspread. After searching the bed there were many bed bugs. We checked out and the receptionist was nervous and could not think properly, I guess flustered trying to cancel our reservation and getting us out due to the lobby being full. We should of known because a maintenance guy was on the elevator with a box spring. I am not one to write reviews but I would want to know if a hotel had bed bugs. Overall the hotel was hot and dirty. July 24 2022.

The Hotel is badly in need of a update. My room was not clean the carpet had popcorn and some other unknown debris on it and the bathroom baseboards had mold. The other guest of our party had to wait long time past our check in time for there rooms to be cleaned. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The Starbuck inside the hotel was great though!

It was really nice hotel and the room was really nice the bed was very comfortable and it was really clean honestly that's all I can kind of remember because within those two days we stayed in two separate hotels and I can barely remember this one sorry but I do remember that it was very clean and I slept very well!

They deliver what they promised. Due to Thanksgiving, most of the food services were closed. But for the price level. Very clean, organized, no frills but effective. Really enjoyed the stay.

The hotel itself was fantastic, clean and a well stocked pantry. My personal experience on checking in was a little different. It was later at night and the host behind the counter was borderline confrontational. Told me more than once I'm free to go to another hotel. I felt as if I was interrupting her phone time and she was talking it out on me. I would stay again, I don't feel the experience of one hostess should reflect on the whole hotel as a whole.

Really nice rooms, very clean, not as big as some other places but I was on a company business trip so any extra room would've been a waste. Location was close to my company's location and central to anything else that I may have wanted to shop for. Staff was superb and friendly. I'd stay there again and therefore I'd recommend a stay there.

The rooms were clean and nice the shower even provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash on the wall for ease of use . Serivce /worker shortages have affected every industry no every day room cleaning they will replace towels if needed with a simple phone call. The location is the only thing it's in an area preped for growth but most businesses didn't survive the pandemic. Even with this the hotel is fantastic with a pool and small fitness room, and a business center. Large rooms.

I come here for work all the time and the only reason I keep coming back here is because of Sarah at the bistro. The food is amazing and the customers service is unbeatable. Plus the Sarah Special is the best cocktail in Louisville.
