We arrived for a weekend wedding and we're met by the friendliest inn keeper in the world. The home was beautiful and well furnished. There was nothing to want for. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. The back yard patio area was spacious and welcoming. I recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone wanting an Old Louisville feel.

My husband and I just returned from a lovely weekend at the DuPont where we stayed in the Carnegie Suite. It was truly beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire home. Christopher was so informative and kind. We had great conversations together about the home, the area, dining options and the garden. We definitely will stay again should we return to the area. Oh…and breakfast was delicious!

We enjoyed our stay at the Dupont Mansion. Our accommodations were comfortable and clean. Christopher, the innkeeper, was an excellent host. He had many recommendations for dinner, was knowledgeable about what was going on in the area during our stay and provided 2 delicious breakfasts during our stay! The topping on our baked French toast was like icing on a cake! Perfect!

Beautiful home on an amazing street filled with historic houses, close to amazing places to eat dinner. The rooms are gigantic and full of character. If you need a place to stay in Louisville look no further than DuPont!

We had an excellent time staying at the DuPont Mansion! Christopher, the innkeeper, was exceptional. Like staying with a good friend. He is very knowledgeable about the city, history and things to do. Breakfast and the accommodations were wonderful. We stayed in the DuPont suite and the room was the perfect size of a long weekend. It didn’t bother us and I’m a light sleeper but the room does face the street so there is occasional street noise so just something to note when you pick a room!

What a wonderful place! From the warmth of the innkeeper upon entering to the great breakfasts in the morning, everything was fantastic. Coffee, treats, bourbon and wine a plenty were found all over the place. Lovely old town neighborhood to walk around.

In old town. Restaurant selection close by is limited. Ate @ Bucks for second time there, great food $$$ and was within 2 blocks. Inn keeper very knowledgeable about area and history of the city and the Duponts. Great breakfast. All rooms on second floor with only stairs. Great residence!

The DuPont Mansion definitely did not disappoint my husband and I. We parked right out front and were immediately greeted at the door by Christopher, the innkeeper. He gave us a tour of the beautiful mansion, thankfully still all decked out for Christmas. It was absolutely beautiful!!! We had an amazing night, and an even better breakfast. Christopher cooked us his “not so downtown abbey” pancakes that were to die for, and we had delicious coffee and juice while we watched the squirrels play through the window. Amazing!!!

Everything about our stay was top notch. The home itself is charming and welcoming. It is very cared for. The innkeeper Chris is beyond great. Breakfast was delicious both days. It was our first time at a bed and breakfast, and it couldn’t have been any better.

We stayed here over Labor Day weekend and enjoyed our stay. Christopher was very helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the Hattie Bishop Speed Room and loved the unique canopy bed and large bathtub. Breakfast was delicious in the morning. The mansion is so beautiful inside. I'd recommend other travelers stay here.

Can’t say enough about this place, it’s beautiful, perfectly restored and feels like you’re going back in time. Christopher is the perfect host, and will go above and beyond for you, anticipating whatever you need. Great location, we walked everywhere. What a great example of Louisville hospitality!

They did provide a beautiful venue for our simple wedding, however, twice they did not address question pertaining to part of the package we paid for and for that 2 stars are lost.

We LOVED staying here for our 6th anniversary! Chris, the innkeeper, was the IDEAL host for this historical bed and breakfast. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and seeing Old Louisville was amazing! We will absolutely be returning and suggesting this place any chance we get.

Christopher was fantastic! Gracious hosts, comfortable and clean rooms, historic atmosphere. Some of the nicest people we have encountered on any trip; they offered suggestions, help, and consistently went out of the way to make us comfortable. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Louisville. Thanks y'all!

Beautiful and Historic! I stayed at the Dupont Mansion as part of a company outing to visit local distilleries. The staff was wonderful and the accommodations were outstanding. The mansion is historic with charm and beauty. The rooms are all large and well appointed. The food was excellent and the location can’t be beat. I would highly recommend the Dupont Mansion!

What a find! Historic, cozy yet elegant, inside and out. Nice shared spaces on the ground floor and outdoors as well. Great location in historic neighborhood and next to a park. Breakfast was creative and tasty each morning served with Chris’s great conversation. Just the weekend atmosphere I was looking for. Thank you and will return!

If you are on the fence about staying at the Dupont Mansion...do not hesitate anymore. Book it! We liked it so much that we have now been 3 times in a 6-month period. If you want a place to relax and unwind and be pampered, then you have found the right place. There are so many neat things to see and do in Louisville but we never wanted to leave the Mansion to go see these things. We actually loved this place so much we got married here. The breakfasts are delicious and well thought out. The decorations at Christmas were very festive. If it is nice outside, make sure you go back on the deck and read a book by the weeping willow tree. It is so peaceful back there. The wedding elopement package was perfect for us. I can't tell you how much detail they went to make our day special for us in such a short amount of time. The price is worth what they do for you. Everything was more than we ever dreamed of. The best part of the entire place is the Inn keeper, Chris. He goes above and beyond to make your stay nice. He communicated with me very promptly on all the details and did exactly what I wanted. They all made our day very unique and special and tailor-made for us. I will forever be grateful. I could could go on and on. I feel so blessed. We will keep going back. Hopefully every year for our anniversary.

👍👍 We were so impressed with our stay at this hotel. We stayed on a Tuesday night - so it was not busy but we did not expect how quiet it would be! It was awesome!
