If looking for an alternative to booking a hotel room, you should check out a bed and breakfast. The "Central Park bed and breakfast" in Louisville should be on your list. My wife and I have stayed in a few bed and breakfast locations in Louisville. They all are great. But the breakfast at the central park is the top. Louisville has the largest collection of Victorian houses in the United States.

This B&B is absolutely lovely. My boyfriend and I recently got engaged and he planned a lovely Louisville-getaway for us, which included a night at this beautiful and charming Rose Garden Suite! Thank you Majestic for being such a lovely host of such a lovely place! She welcomed us with an open door, and gave us a wonderful little tour of this place. Her daughter is so cute and waved to us from the kitchen while we were going up to our room. The suite we had was so vintage, charming and cozy! The breakfast was amazing and we felt like royalty! We also talked for hours with Majestic and her assistant housekeeper, Jackie. We talked about all manner of things and it was just like we were family sitting down to breakfast. Thank you so much Majestic for being such a gracious host, and Jackie for your lovely stories and kindness; youโ€™re also both STELLAR cooks! We'd absolutely highly recommend this place for your next stay, and can't wait to stay here again!

I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast! Location: The historic neighborhood was quiet, safe, lush and well manicured. I found it conveniently located for touristy activities as well. House: We were encouraged to enjoy the beautifully decorated common areas which include the dining room, two sitting areas, front porch and back porch/garden. Bedroom: The Parkview room was very spacious with large windows which allowed for much natural sunlight! The decor was cheery and detailed. The central air and fireplace was greatly appreciated! Food: The breakfasts were easily the best dishes we had on our trip. The food was homemade, gourmet and very hearty! I adored the detail and effort in majesticโ€™s presentation. Seriously stunning!

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. It was a fantastic experience. The innkeeper, Majestic, made our stay very comfortable and makes a spectacular breakfast. It's a great place to stay in Louisville. I hope we'll be back some day.

This was my husband and I's first ever time staying at a bed and breakfast and it was such a great experience! Totally went above and beyond our expectations. The bed is super comfy, the room is spacious, and we enjoy having our own bathroom. The house feels like stepping back in time. The level of details in the furniture, on the walls and even on the doors all throughout the house makes my historian heart happy to see. The food every morning is absolutely amazing. I love the fact that we get to experience new foods and we always feel stuffed. Majestic is so nice and easy to talk to and is such a good cook!! We hope to come back again someday.

The innkeeper, Majestic, truly made our get away special. She is so welcoming and hospitable. Honestly, our breakfasts were absolutely spectacular! The snacks and goodies that we could take up to our room were perfect. We had a wonderful visit and would recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone.

This is a beautiful home with a lovely innkeeper who does an amazing job of taking care of her guests. The breakfast was worth the whole cost of the room, though the rooms were well appointed and comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the experience to anyone.

Had a wonderful stay at the Central Park Bed and Breakfast. The home is beautiful, the rooms are all spacious and unique with private bathrooms that are good sized. They have working gas fireplaces which was super nice. They have a good selection of snacks and the breakfast was delicious. Majestic, the innkeeper, was very accommodating and kind. We really enjoyed our time there and had lovely conversation with the other guests at breakfast.

The innkeeper Majestic and her Daughter Bre welcomed me with massive smiles from the moment I stepped through the front door. The inn was decorated to the hilt with fall decor and smelled like home-baked cookies. The rooms are beautiful and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud Truly an amazing experience and I will be back

Gorgeous, historic bed and breakfast. So fun and different then the usual chain hotel. Breakfast was off the charts delicious and worth planning for (9am). Throw in fresh made cookies and other snacks and this is a value miles ahead your usual stay.

The house, the service, the food! Majestic, the innkeeper is an absolute delight. She has so much knowledge of the city. Loved her the minute she opened the door. The house is 130+ years old and so full of history. We will definitely be staying there again. Jason and April Backey of TN.

The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and comfortable! Majestic is a phenomenal cook and the perfect hostess! You are made to feel at home and always greeted with a smile. I even let her know ahead of time about food sensitivities and she went above and beyond to accommodate that, which I wasnโ€™t expecting! I canโ€™t wait to come back.

Central Park Bed and Breakfast is the perfect place to stay in Louisville! Majesticโ€™s hospitality and homemade breakfasts are simply amazing! We stayed here over Easter with my parents and my husbands parents to see our son play lacrosse. Everyone is still talking about our visit and the beautiful furnishings! No regrets, loved everything about our stay! Thanks again!!

We greatly enjoyed our visit to Central Park B&B. The house is beautifully furnished with an array of antiques and fixtures. The bed was very comfortable; the soaking tub was very relaxing; and the setting in Old Town Louisville was a joy. Right across the street in Central Park we were able to catch the free Shakespeare in the park outdoor performance, which was great. Lastly, Majestic was a wonderful host, and the breakfasts in the beautiful dining room were a highlight of our trip.

I stayed at the Central Park Bed and Breakfast on a recent Saturday visit to Louisville. We were warmly greeted by the inn keeper and our room was unique, clean and comfortable with our own private bathroom. The house is in beautiful condition. Our Breakfast Sunday morning was fantastic.

We had a lovely stay at CPB&B. We love Louisville and this was an added bonus. Easy parking and a friendly welcome started our visit. Majestic, their innkeeper was helpful with local recommendations, directions and cooked the huge, creative and delicious breakfast. What a great time having breakfast with fellow travelers in a beautiful setting- sharing a small part of our lives. After years of travel with kids, I forgot how much fun it is to stay at a B&B and Central Park was a wonderful reminder. Our room was well appointed and our sleep very comfy. We would recommend and would also love to return.

First time staying in a bed and breakfast and it was the best experience. Went down to Louisville for my birthday weekend and to explore the downtown. We were greeted right away with so much warmth and were amazed by the details of the house. Once you stepped in the house you were back in time. It was beautiful. I had booked the peacock room and it was so worth it. The bed was comfy and it had its own bathroom. The breakfast and the cookies was also delicious. We decided we to rent bikes from the bike rental right by the house and rode into downtown, which was just a couple of minutes away. I loved that it was not right in downtown and just a short distance so we could either walk, ride bikes or just drive the car if we wanted to. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

My husband & I stayed 2 nights at this beautiful B&B. My 1st time at a B&B. It was a last-minute booking/trip. I couldnโ€™t have been more happy. Majestic was a wonderful hostess. And I loved meeting her sweet daughter Bre. The rooms were very beautiful and very accommodating. We stayed in the central park room. Majestic told us about a lot of wonderful places to visit. And we were able to see a few of them. Majestic really outdid herself on the breakfast as well. We will definitely come back. Very happy. Thank you

Fabulous Victorian Home, great location. Our time at the Central B&B was wonderful! I booked 3 rooms: The Park view, The Central Park, and the Rose Garden suite. All 3 were beautifully decorated, comfortable and had large renovated bathrooms. And, when other rooms were unoccupied, I took a peek and found the remaining rooms to be equally gorgeous! The entire home is beautiful, comfortable, and relaxing. The home is located in the historic gaslight Victorian home district of Old Louisville. So we spent one morning walking the area to view all the old beautiful homes. There is ample parking, and wonderful outdoor spaces to enjoy a happy hour, if desired. The innkeeper was responsive to all of our requests and make the most delicious made-from-scratch breakfasts each morningโ€ฆ so amazing!!! While our primary reason for travel was to visit multiple distilleries on Main St, since our trip was in late October, we also went to the Jack-o-Lantern Spectacular one night (over 5,000 carved pumpkins), and enjoyed the Victorian Ghost Walk another night (a 2 hour tour thru beautiful mansions, gas-lit walkways as fun/spooky โ€œghostsโ€ recount their stories). We will definitely stay here again, but f rooms are available!

The home is beautifully decorated. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. Two things prevented me from giving this B&B a 5 โญ๏ธ rating. First, breakfast is served at 9:00. In a tourist town, I feel this is too late. Majestic, our hostess, did serve us a first course each morning that we could not eat at that time. Second, Majestic tended to monopolize the conversation each morning. While I enjoy a host/hostess interacting with guests, she was a little too much.

We truly enjoyed our stay for our anniversary. The house is absolutely beautiful, the staff was welcoming and kind, and the breakfast was completely scrumptious. They are even able to accommodate dietary needs with advance needs. We will most definitely be back to visit again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Central Park Bed & Breakfast. The house was beautifully decorated, so comfortable and cleaner than most 5 star hotels. The Innkeeper, Majestic, went above and beyond to make everyone's stay enjoyable. Our room was well-appointed and touched up daily. There are complementary snacks and beverages available 24/7 - this is wonderful when you come in late and need a little something before bed. The very best part of our stay was the delicious breakfasts made and served with love. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again anytime I'm in Louisville.

What a beautiful place to stay! We were only in Louisville for one night unfortunately because this was such a wonderful place to stay. The room we stayed in was so comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. The breakfast was absolutely divine! We will definitely be back at some point!!

I am struggling with all of the 5 reviews as our experience was much different- plants and trees out front so overgrown that could not see the address, parking is on street only which is minimal, park is not safe to walk at night, room was worn, and snacks were more for kids than adults. I canโ€™t speak for the breakfast because the fire alarm went off for about 15 minutes at 6:00 am and ruined any sleep or hanging around to try breakfast. If you want a relaxing quaint B&B, this is not it - I would suggest A Storybrook Inn in Lexington. Much different experience.

We loved our stay here! This was our first experience with a bed and breakfast, and we already can't wait to come back. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and the breakfast was delicious. There was a fully-stocked snack bar and a ton of movies to choose from. Highly recommend for anyone, especially anyone interested in history. Stepping into the Central Park B+B felt like stepping back in time. It was magical!

Our hostess Majestic and her daughter Really Rose were so helpful. Breakfast was amazing and inventive. The Parkview room was beautiful. My only concern was the smoke alarm went off saying fire emergency in my room with Smoke. There was no smoke, smoking or fire. I think the wiring in antiquated and that concerns me. But for setting, Beauty, breakfast, and welcoming staff, an A+. Sue Kozel

What an adorable little getaway! This bed and breakfast was a perfect night away, I only wish we could have stayed longer! Majestic really outdid herself-not only with the AMAZING breakfast, but every little detail along the way. Bon bons on the night stands, freshly made cookies, coffee/tea/water at an arms length. Canโ€™t forget the Christmas decorations! I felt like I was in an antique winter wonderland. My boyfriend and I stayed in the St James room and had the perfect, cozy night in (did not hear one peep and it was a full house!). Thank you again Majestic, Bre Rose, and owners! We will be back.

I had a wonderful one night stay at this lovely B&B. I stayed in the Saint James room and took full advantage the huge whirlpool tub while watching tv as the fireplace was going. Majesty made me feel welcome, and treated us to a traditional Louisville breakfast that was fantastic. Nearby restaurants within walking distance or order in, as I did. Wonderful, restful stay.

Central Park Bed & Breakfast was an overnight for us on our way to Memphis, and what a pleasant surprise! The Inn was beautiful, and the Christmas decorations simply over the top. Our Host, Majestic, was so kind and accommodating with an adorable baby! The breakfast was wonderful with fluffy, cheesy eggs!

Beautiful B&B. Our stay with majestic and her little girl was amazing. Any and everything we needed was met with a smile and caring. Bed was so comfortable and rooms were breath taking. Will be visiting again soon. We felt like family while we were there. The food was to die for. The scrambled eggs were the best I've ever eggs I have had. If you have a chance to visit its well worth any price out there..thank you Majestic for a wonderful weekend.

We loved the Saint James room with the heart shaped tub & fireplace. It's the perfect romantic getaway and more than a bed & breakfast, it's an experience. The Inn Keeper, Majestic, was so lovely and hospitable and made a beautiful breakfast for us. Best Valnetines day ever!

Everything about this place was amazing! We spent the weekend away with no kids and this was the best place to stay! We absolutely loved our Park View room, the exquisite breakfast the was homemade and different each morning (you could totally tell she used her secret ingredient of love in each dish โค๏ธ), and Majestic with her beautiful pretty princess. I wish we could stay forever! Thank you for the fabulous stay and hospitality you showed. In my best Arnold Schwarzenegger voice - I'll be back! ๐Ÿ˜โค๏ธ
