Quick overnight in Louisville. The hotel appears to be in a rough neighborhood. Down the street from an adult bookstore and two blocks from the strip clubs. It sits right on the street, so road noise in the early morning was unfortunate. $120 for Saturday night (incl taxes etc). Rooms are above average and seemingly clean. Bathrooms need help with moisture damage and fixtures upgrade. Was not recognized as a top tier guest and denied extended checkout i normally get (2pm) at other choice properties. Floors in the lobby and elevator were constantly wet from the pool. Walls are thin. Breakfast was so so with typical waffles, powdered eggs, microwave bacon, sausage biscuits with gravy, and bread (which was gone by 9am). Sausage gravy and biscuits were the best out of it all. No yogurt or hot oats. We will go back to the Crittenden hotel or try the other Confort inn. Crittenden was better even though it needs proper landscaping and parking upgrades.

By far one of the worst hotel as far as customer service. The young girl at the front desk is so rude. I have been a choice rewards member for years. I have always use choice while I travel for work. I normally check out between the hours of 1am and 3am so I can get to the airport for my flight. With that being said I have always use choice because they have allowed me to check in early. This hotel on the other had was not even trying to help. The lady at the front desk claim that it is choice policy to not allow anyone to check in early. I know that to be a lie for a fact. With that being said, I will not be staying at anymore choice hotels. To tell me that the rooms are not clean and that there working on it. We will get you in as soon as we can is one thing. But to straight out lie is another. If you value honesty. Do not stay at Comfort Inn 4444 Dixie Highway Louisville, KY. They really act as if they are above you and you have no other option. Well, I do and moving forward I will not be staying at a choice hotel. Oh and I believe the young girls name is Rosa.

This hotel is Awesome!!!! I travel 98% of the year and this location is my favorite to stay at. The breakfast selection is huge, the hotel is always clean and the rooms smell good and the staff is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Melissa, Dylan, and Raini make this hotel worth the stay!

Staff was amazing but the room smelled like mildew, so strongly my daughters asthma was flaring up. The pool was down for maintenance until the day we left. Went to check it out, dipped a toe in and felt like it was burning, so we didn't use it. Blankets had stains on them. Not my first choice in places to stay in the future but I'm sure it could've been worse.

The rooms in this hotel are very filthy. It is obvious they are not cleaned thoroughly or regularly. There are hairs on the sheets, mysterious fluids, stains, and cigarette burns on the mattresses below the sheets and on the carpet. The shower is soiled, and urine is on the floor. I was cordial when requesting a new room that I hoped was cleaner than the first one but there were still many obvious signs of uncleanliness. The staff was very rude. There were people outside of the front door and in the parking lot that made me uncomfortable This hotel did not acknowledge a military discount when I presented them with the proper ID, and I was told "they just don't do it I guess." One short night at this hotel was an awful experience.

Perfect hotel for my stay. Clean, staff were great. They got a little bar inside. Goid drink menu but pricey on size of drinks. Downfall was price of room and what kinda PILLOWS are those things. They can't be but 1 ft x 1 ft. Get some real PILLOWS.

The rooms were dirty (I got to experience more than 1 as we were traveling with others.). The housekeepers clearly do not double check. There was a wash cloth pinned to the smoke detector using the pins from a couch. There were holes, peeling paint, wet dog smell, paint all over bathroom. There was sp much dust on mirror and shelves that held the towels. The TV did not work as the remote would not change inputs. The bathroom vent/fan did not work. There was still other peoples hair in the shower. The pool was gross and in deep need of cleaning. The air conditioner had no medium you either froze or sweat to death. When the issues were presented to the front desk they shrugged it off and acted like it's normal to pay this much for a night when the issues were bad.

I booked a room this past weekend. And unfortunately my son came down. With c9vid and needed to be hospitalized I canceled my reservation as soon as I possibly could. When I called the lady that answered the phone was using bad language before she said hello. I didn't think much of it to be honest told her what was going on and she said ok no problem. I then get charged for the room anyway. Now I can understand if it was for no reason but I had a very good reason to cancel it in which I told them I could provide proof my son was there in the hospital on that day with covid barely able to breath. This company cares nothing about the guest that stay with them. It's all about the almighty dollar for them. I say that because I know for a fact they gave my room to another guest that same day and didn't lose anyone they just took mine for free. I feel like I was taken advantage of by them do to the fact I could prove why I couldn't make it. This will be the last time I ever saty at one of there hotels ever that also goes for my family and friends as well. Totally horrible tondo someone like that. They are not at all covid friendly......

I've been staying at hotels across Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana for over a year, and I have to say, this one has the absolute worst customer service. The lady on the phone was rude and hung on on me before we were done with the reservation. Aside from a clean room, this is the most important aspect of a hotel. Hire better customer service.

I give this hotel a poor rating this time, not because of it’s clean room, it’s friendly staff, nor it’s convenient location. But it was because of an annoying flashing light in the middle of our room that Resembled a police officer’s car! When I called to complain about 3 AM the first night, he said maintenance will take care of it later that morning. Well that didn’t happen and neither of us got good sleep, and both of us were very tired and irritable the whole 6 Hour Drive home! While we love the location, we may have to change hotels on next visit. It would’ve been so nice to get a call or reimbursement of some type, but it never came.

The desk staff was super friendly and attentive to detailed requests. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I thought the lighting in the room was a bit dark, but that's ok. The little bit of computer work that I needed to do was by the desk light that was adjustable. The continental breakfast was "eh". One morning the biscuits and sausages were obviously leftover and re-warmed from the previous day. But when I came back about an hour later, the food was fresh. One day they had this Frankenstein "bacon." Maybe it was turkey bacon or plant-based. Regardless, I think they should have labeled it. But that was a small matter. I thought the price was a bit inflated, however, we were there during Easter weekend and the week before Derby festivities. That may have accounted for the inflated price. Overall, my hubby and I were pleased with the stay and intend to return this summer.

My room is clean and comfortable but the woman who cleans up the breakfast area could use some training in manners. On the weekday breakfast ends at 9, and I had forgotten it ended at an earlier time than on weekends. I rushed to the breakfast room as fast as I could and was down there at 8:59, and really just expected to grab a muffin really quick so I could get in and out. However, as I walked up to the door it was abruptly shut and locked.. I pulled the handle a couple times because I wasn’t sure if it was stuck or locked but she reopened it and let out a dramatic long breath like I was a problem coming in. I just grabbed a few things and went back to my room since I knew it was closing time, however there are plenty of other hotels I would be happy to stay at when I come into town for work. Not how I want to start off my morning before going to work.

Great service, very helpful and knowledgeable - thanks Dylan!!! From the parking lot to the lobby to the room, all was clean and organized. They have a beautiful gazebo (with a grill) their guests can use. Wonderful experience and will stay with them again ☺️

The room was comfortable, the vent in the bathroom didn't work. The hotel was clean, but does need an upgrade, mainly the carpet. And the pool needs to be kept at a little warmer temp.

First, the entry to this hotel is shamefully dirty! It needs a good power washing. Secondly, the rooms are only serviced every three days. You have to go to the desk to replenish your towels etc. In addition, if your there for more than a day, you'll need to empty your own trash into containers by the vending machines. But the real topper was this morning when we went down for breakfast to find NO milk! That meant no cereal, no oatmeal. Since we prefer to not consume the calories of biscuits, gravy, bacon & eggs, it left no options when milk is not available. When I asked why someone didn't report that the milk was low yesterday, the front desk person said the management only schedules deliveries on certain days. So, I guess there is no petty cash to send someone to buy a gallon of milk!! The priority of the management of this hotel seems to be SAVE MONEY WHEREVER we can. It is unfortunate that this particular Choice Hotel reflects on other Choice hotels where service to their customers is their priority.

First, there was smell of sewer gas on my room. When I mentioned it the next morning, I was told there was sewer work going on nearby, which seemed fishy because I only seemed to smell it in my room. As I lay I’m my room later it APPEARED to worsen every time the A/C kicked on. When I mentioned that to a different lady at the front desk I was met with a snarky “it’s not coming from the air conditioner.” She said she’d tell maintenance that the sewer gas was being trapped and to put something in the drain to fix it. It took a day for that to happen, which is better than nothing. Second, on my third and final night my sheets came off revealing a disgusting stain on the mattress. Picture attached. Third, the shower could not be turned off so you always get a wet head if you’re not careful. Not horrible but definitely needs updating. One nice thing was the bar/lounge. Not busy at all and a very kind and friendly lady (Cherie… not sure on spelling) manning it. Would be a nice place to hang out instead of leaving to find someplace to eat or get a drink.

Mrs Nicole and miss Tracy are my favorite, love those two individuals, very helpful, always a smile and no matter how long I'm gone away from there, when I call, they knows my voice. How amazing for them to recognize my voice after all this time. I have only 1 issue there, the guy that works 11pm to 7am, NOT HELPFUL AT ALL, LIES ABOUT ROOMS AVAILABLE AND THE SYSTEM IS ALWAYS DOWN FROM 4AM TO 11AM TO HEAR HIM TELL IT. But when others staff members are there, it's not a problem checking in. MY OPINION OF HIM, GIVE HIM THE BOOT, YOU GUYS LOSE MONEY WITH HIM.

I had to pay 500 dollar deposit because I live locally! When I pressed as to why, the answer was, the local people usually trash the rooms! I felt disgusted, I am a 64 year old woman and I live locally, my id has my address if I caused damage. No faith in the people in this city, that's speaks volumes about the establishment and how they feel about the people in Louisville. My out of town family and friends will never stay at this facility!

I hate giving bad reviews but this one definitely deserves it. The floor was sticky in the bedroom, the room phone was broke, and the pool was not open for “maintenance.” I could not sleep due to banging all night long. I had a training in the morning. When I went to cancel the 3 night reservation because I was not staying there 3 nights, I let them know the issue, they still charged me a cancellation fee.

Needless to say I spend a whole lot of nights in hotels and almost always stay at a Choice Hotels brand hotel…. This place is NOT up to their standards as far as cleanliness. Trash everywhere, carpets in hall ways were extremely dirty, stains on the carpets and trash behind the room furniture. At check in, I was given a card key and when I entered my room, the bed had not been made nor had the room been cleaned from the previous guest. I was given another room and to my surprise, there was no remote control for the TV and I had to ask for paper clips at the front desk so I could keep the window shades closed for a tad bit of privacy… I will not stay at this location anymore…

Got double charged upon check in still waiting to get repaid, toilet didn’t work, tv doesn’t work, refrigerator doesn’t work, shower leaks and doesn’t drain, sink is messed up, not very clean, refrigerator had food from the previous person in it, waited over 10 minutes for a receptionist to show up…. Later she locked herself out, and a workers younger daughter was running around in underwear. Stay as far away from this hotel as possible!!

Wonderful! Top notch customer service and quality! On the customer service side, when we forgot our jacket in room 207, they shipped it back to us right away, and only charged the shipping. Check in and checkout was also smooth. On the quality side, the room was big and clean with a sofa, fancy ottoman and desk, with granite countertops. And breakfast was great, with proper biscuits and gravy! Beds were really nice, and even the curtains were excellent (so definitely they have attention to detail). The room was just as nice as the publicity photos, which is rare and great to see. Overall, I think they definitely deserve an extra star for all this. I'll make it a point to stay here next time I'm in Louisville!

I read good reviews on this hotel and even have a friend staying here. But the front desk lady I talked on the phone with this morning was incredibly rude. I’ll be working in Kentucky till May but my money will not go here if that’s how they talk with customers.

We traveled in late but our registration was still ready and room was clean and tidy and ready for use. The breakfast is good and pool was so fun!

I stay at this hotel every year when I come for the Kentucky Derby. Clean rooms, friendly staff... Close to the track. I've never had a bad outing here, that's why I keep returning
