I stay here often and I’m always greeted by the assistant manager Travis Desmond. He is friendly and pleasant to work with and professional at all times. Whenever I need something taken care of he is on it. He is one of the reasons why I will continue to book at this hotel.

We stayed at the Fairfield in July for a baseball tournament, so this review is a bit overdue, but I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to give kudos to the staff for a comfortable stay. Travis was incredibly accommodating after we came in late at night having had a bad experience at another hotel in the area. We were thankful for a clean room and a good night’s sleep and stayed an additional three nights. All the employees were kind and attentive from the front desk to maintenance. The lobby was nice and bright with a coffee station and soothing music playing. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to visit Louisville.

This hotel is ok. In a few years I don’t think it will be Marriott quality. This hotel is the worst of all marriotts I’ve been to. The water pressure in one room was really low they moved me to another room which was a handicap room. This seems to be the norm based on other reviews. They have a lot of handicap rooms so this is a good place if u have a disability. However if u aren’t disabled and they give u one of those rooms it will be a inconvenience. The rooms a semi clean. The breakfast is the same everyday. I was here 4 days and it was eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, milk, juice, etc.

The room was quite clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast served was a great breakfast! When traveling through again we would stay at this location.

Easy to get to, very clean and well kept. They were working on some exterior upgrades while we were there but didn’t disturb us at all. Rooms are very spacious! Would definitely recommend

Room was great and overall experience was great, except for when I arrived and said I had a reservation instead of being greeted all that was said was “I need an ID” . I’m a platinum member and this was the first time that I’ve never been greeted, thanks for your stay.

This is a new and clean hotel. It was very comfortable and pleasant. However, the amount of waste/plastic that is generated here is painful to watch. There is zero effort given to being environmentally responsible. There are literally toss away plastics for every aspect of the room and dining material. For a large chain like this, they MUST be more conscious of their impact and choose better ways of conducting their business with less material going to landfill daily.

From the first greeting to the end of our visit, we were genuinely pleased. I visit Louisville often and I have never felt more welcomed and "at home". Travis and John were very interactive, polite and helpful during our stay. We asked alot of questions and more and they were aleays willing to assist with a smile. We know some people may respond "That's their job". That is very true. However, the difference was, it never seemed like they were doing it because they HAD to and that's the cistomer service difference. The hotel is clean and well kept. We just really have 0 negatives to throw out there. Thanks again for the best stay we have had in many years. Bill and Annie

Solid hotel. Clean, renovated rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Rooms had a microwave and mini fridge. Nice desk and chair. Lots of surface space in the dresser. Beds were good. Plenty of pills. Bathroom was clean. Good towels. Lots of parking. Breakfast had sausage, eggs, breads, waffles, yogurt. Lots of seating. Everything was fresh and hot.

Travis and GM went above and beyond for me. I had a bad situation with my Airbnb and they sympathized and helped out. You can tell they are great people even outside of work. Updated, clean and friendly staff. Will visit again if I am back through here. Thanks you all!

Receptionist was nice until I asked for a different room because the a/c was rattling pretty loud, then when I tried the second room and the ac wouldn't even turn on she asked me if I wanted to go somewhere else and had a terrible attitude. I asked if she had a room with functional a/c and she said she didn't know she doesn't go in the rooms. Needless to say I took my business elsewhere.

I'm a Bonvoy member and stay at Fairfield Inns often. This is easily the worst I've seen. The couch in our room has a stain of a questionable nature and the handicap accessible shower (which I didn't ask for) is barely usable for someone who doesn't need handicap access. Family is staying in another room that has a toilet held together with strings. For breakfast, there is a sign to ask for gluten free options, but when I asked I was told there is none. I am very disappointed. Stay somewhere else if you can.

My husband and I reserved a room for a weekend getaway. Unfortunately, the night before we supposed to check in I woke up with a fever and felt very sick. We canceled our trip. We tried to contact the hotel to see if we could possibly cancel, or reschedule. They told us to call back after 11pm and speak with Cat the hotel manager. She may be able to help us since it is a health issue, but we might have to still be charged for 1 night. We called back, with little hope that anything could be done, but thought we should try anyway. Lynn answered and absolutely refused to help. She just kept talking over my husband saying he was going to be charged for 1 night no matter what. He tried to explain that someone earlier said to call back and talk to Cat, but she didn't care. He asked if she was at the hotel and she said "Of course I am, you called here didn't you?". We thought she might be in a call center at another location, that response was not necessary. She was very rude. We didn't have any expectations about our situation when we called, but we certainly didn't expect to be treated with such disrespect. In the end, she told us to call back the next day after 3 if we wanted to talk to Cat, but that we would be charged for 1 night no matter what. We won't bother.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and was placed in a handicapped accessible room. We did not need this feature, and it didn't make a large difference to our stay, but, I will say having a non-removeable shower seat in the tub was a little inconvenient. In fact, many of the rooms in this hotel are specifically handicapped accessible. I'd also like to bring up an incident that I was not personally a part of, but I was witness to. I was down at the pool in the evening. The pool has a 5 person limit, by the way. Someone came down in a wheelchair and wanted to use the chair lift to get in and out of the pool. It wasn't working. A few of the other guests stepped in to try to assist, but eventually went to the front desk to ask for help. The woman behind the desk was unable to help stating that there was a battery pack needed for the chair lift, but she didn't know where it was. If you are a hotel that is clearly trying to push handicapped accessible rooms, you should train your staff to understand how the other accessible hotel features work and how to help. Although the hotel did seem quiet and the beds were good, our toilet ran and when looking in the tank to see if we could fix it ourselves, there was a twist tie holding the parts together. That's never a good sign. I didn't get the impression that the staff really cared.

The manager went above and beyond to make sure we got the rooms we preferred. My brother and I live 3 states apart and we were meeting here so it was nice to be able to visit easily. Everyone else was also very nice. The room was comfortable and everything was clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in.

The staff was great. Helpful and able to read the room without being intrusive. That is skills and training. We all were very pleased.

Nice hotel. Great front desk clerk. Breakfast was just ok. I'm a stickler for a great hot breakfast. Would definitely stay again but hope they'd have a different selection for breakfast next time. Also, I miss hotels having hot tubs. I had been travelling for 12+ hours and really needed a good soak in a hot tub.

Horrible place not owned by RADISSON it is privately owned. Rooms were filthy, bathrooms disgusting, they recycle the hand lotion (it had crusty leftover on it. Hallways smelled mildew, this place is not worth 159 dollars a night the beds are like bricks. Horrible, save your 💰. Priceline said it was clean......INCONCEIVABLE PRICELINE!!!

Booked so I could rest during daylight hours as I work overnight. Bonvoy member & booked thru the App. Never received notice that my room was ready or mobile key was ready. Used the in App chat feature to ask about this & in the course of 5 hrs never heard any communication from an actual person, just the original auto generated “Our staff is busy helping other guests”. I’ll never book at this Marriott again

I must say that I am impressed! The customer service was great, rooms clean and updated and the breakfast was very good. They served cage free scrambled eggs and well seasoned potatoes. They also waffle maker. I like that they had a separate station and waffle maker for gluten-free Waffles. I will definitely come back.

Just arrived and Roderick is the most pleasant person I’ve encountered at check in a very long time. Super helpful and so nice! Room is clean - what more can you ask for?

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Conveniently located by I-64 for quick access around Louisville. Also conveniently located near a Cracker Barrel and a gas station. Will stay again!

This was an awesome hotel. Would have given 5 stars. We had 2 rooms. The water pressure in our shower was horrible but the water pressure in our other room was fine. Also...at 8:30am we were sleeping and were woke up by knocking on the door...of course we did not answer right away so they just came right in! Like what?!?!? Assuming it was housekeeping! Then as we are getting ready to leave...at 11:40 another knock at the door...it was housekeeping asking if we were checking out! Where I come from...if check out time is 12 noon....CHECK OUT TIME IS 12 NOON. We should not be bothered before then. Otherwise, great hotel!

The staff was friendly and helpful. My kids loved the pool. The rooms were clean, AC was quiet and controlled by a wall thermostat. We have mixed reviews on the beds. The kids liked the squishy pillow top mattress, but it was so uncomfortable trying to sit up to watch TV. My husband and I were very surprised that our backs weren't tweaked from the absence of firmness. I was disappointed that the only hot item was some paper thin bacon.

I made reservations for Saturday and stopped by the hotel before picking up my grandchildren. I wanted to ask about a room on the 1st floor as I have mobility problems. I spoke with a woman at the front desk named Ciara. I explained my request and told her that I was bringing my grandchildren there for the night for my granddaughter's birthday and she wanted to go swimming. Ciara was so friendly and helpful. She reserved us a room on the first floor that included a walk-in shower so I wouldn't need to step over the side of the tub. I found out when we came back and officially checked in that she had also already blocked an extended period of time at the pool for us. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. The kids had an outstanding time, breakfast the next morning had both hot and cold selections and was delicious. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

After traveling all day with 6 kids back from Florida, we decided to spend the night at the Fairfield in Jeffersonville. BIG MISTAKE!!! Upon checking in, the elevator was broken/didn't work. No biggie. Both rooms were filthy, however, we were all tired and needed some rest. We took the kids to the pool, where we found a family that jokingly boasted about using the pool all the time, as they lived nearby. That evening, a group checked into the room across the hall from ours. The instant smell of marijuana infiltrated our rooms. The smell was so bad in the hallway, I called the front desk. He offered to come spray air freshener. WHAT?? It is still illegal in the state of Indiana to possess marijuana and to consume on private property. Think that is bad, just wait. For the next hour and a half, 20+ "different" people came to the same room in short periods of time. HMMMM. At this point we had already pre-paid for the rooms, so there was no going back. It wasn't until 1AM they finally put down the blunt and called it a night. The next morning, the breakfast was completely depleted by 8AM. When we asked to have them refill coffee, cereal, bagels, the lady snapped and said that is all we have. The place is dirty, in a terrible area, and the staff are lacking in their ability to ensure all guests feel safe and clean. DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!

Staff was great. Very clean and comfortable suite. They do not change out linens or empty trash every day if you are a stay over. Breakfast good. Public should be aware if you book for three nights and only need to stay for two nights you will be charged for all three nights if you haven't told them early on the morning you have to leave. That is utterly ridiculous and price gouging at best. Hope this isn't industry wide. I would stay here again because it is so clean and the staff so friendly. Laundry for guests is nice.

Suite rooms were spacious and we had a nice view from the 4th floor (Room 416!). Breakfast had a nice complimentary selection but wish they had more hot items (pancakes/waffles/french toast) instead of just eggs & sausage for the 3 nights we spent there. Coffee was always available and staff was nice.
