This hotel was a bit questionable by the outside but when we went in the lobby was very clean and friendly staff. After getting our room we were very disappointed. The room was very dirty, half used shampoo/ lotions, smelled very musty, the double beds are full size beds not queen as advertised. No housekeeping for the 8 days I stayed there .The pool would be so nice if the upkeep was done right or at all. The pool was foggy, chunks of hair, and black stuff floating around. Smelled of rotten eggs. There was a dirty diaper laying poolside and a used tooth brush. They both sat there from 5pm until after 10pm. No one checked the chemicals, cleaned up, it was a free for all do what you wan. All in all the hotel was a place to stay was in a crunch or short on cash (was only 100 for room with a 100 deposit). But def won’t be staying there again

Lots to not like about this place. Each hall has its own off putting smell. Bed sheets with yellow and orange stains. Dirty windows. Dirt and dust visible on the floor and on the walls. Refrigerator not working. There are no working vending machines. Parking lot with weeds and even a nice broken down mini van, plus only a few working lampposts that make it pitch black when you’re walking to your car. Two broken elevators, and one of the working ones has an EXPIRED permit (see photo) and graffiti. Key cards that don’t work or rarely work. Lots of the hotel looks like it hasn’t been updated in 40 years. Now to be fair, the staff was nice and seemed to be doing the best they can with such a run down place. And of course the lobby is newly updated and clean. But don’t let it fool you. Do not stay here.

This place is huge, The over all setup is beautiful. Sadly while staying I couldn't tell if the restaurant or the bar was open and the indoor pool was out of service, I didn't get to have the full on experience. Yet what I did experience was pleasantly pleasing.

DO NOT STAY HERE! One of the worse hotel experiences. Outside of hotel was completely rundown, goose pool everywhere. Stairway cement cracking, dirt and stains everywhere. Air conditioning in the common areas was not working making the lobby and all hallways extremely hot and uncomfortable. Elevators smelled like smoke, weed, and pee. Horrible to have to use them. Outdoor key card readers didn't work either locking you completely out or keeping the door completely unlocked allowing anyone to just enter. Curtains in room was in shreds. Bath tub was peeling and had stains. When asked to have the room cleaned after being a guest for 4 days, the manager told me there was nothing he could do to make sure the room was cleaned and refreshed the following day. When the room was finally refreshed nothing was wiped down or vacuumed, beds weren't remade or made up with new linens... just had new towels placed on the bathroom counter. We were traveling with a group for a basketball tournament and one room in our room block had a door that didn't even need a key card to enter. Just turn the door handle and the room could be entered. Once this was realized the guest tried to call the front desk and no one even answered. Very very unsafe. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

This Radisson isn't for people that are used to spending a lot of money and are looking to be treated like five star, and they don't try to represent like they are, but the Staff was very polite, helpful and respectful. The rooms need updated as does the whole building but definitely sufficient for a few nights stay. The price and location were perfect for our golf outing. I'll stay there again for the right circumstances.

At first glance, this hotel looks great. But after staying there, you’ll know that the owners have just put lipstick on a pig. The lobby and pool are the only places in the hotel that aren’t run down. When we arrived, there was a surprise $100 security deposit, which wasn’t stated anywhere on the website when we booked. My family and I booked the largest suite because my husband was here for business and I stayed in the hotel with our two young children. We ordered breakfast which was $13 for a breakfast sandwich (the menu said $9). The “toast” for the sandwich was floppy and the eggs weren’t fully cooked. We let that go because things happen. I planned on swimming and then taking the two kids to lunch at the hotel restaurant. When we got downstairs to the restaurant, I was told by a very rude employee that she was the only server there and she wanted to go home, so she wasn’t accepting tables. It was 130pm and she told me I needed to wait until 345 when the next server came in. I went to the front desk to talk to someone, Kacie was very kind and helpful and eventually convinced the cook to take and prepare our lunch order. But we had to take it to go. It took over an hour for us to get our Cesar salad and chicken tenders (even though nobody else was there) and the whole time we were waiting, the girl was just sitting on her phone and organizing receipts. Mind you, she wouldn’t look or speak to us at that point. The lunch was disgusting, soggy and cold. When we complained to management, we were brushed off. Not to mention, everything in the room was run down, the elevators were sketchy, the furniture was all chipped and falling apart and definitely not worth the money for the room. All of the fire extinguishers hadn’t been inspected in over a year, so if there were a fire, who know if they would work! If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not the place.

Let me start off by saying all of the staff besides one general manager were wonderful. Thank you Ashton and Fred for being so understanding. I am so sorry that you all have to work for someone like that. The general manager Mr. K seems like he needs to definitely go back to hospitality 101. It’s a shame one person can ruin a stay and make people feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Mr.K yelled at my niece and nephew for being too loud in the pool at 12 in the afternoon. YELLED! He came to us spastic, angry, and downright rude. If I could give the general manager zero stars I would. I hope no one else has to deal with him. He stays on the property though. So I am sure you will see him and his unfriendly ness at some point during your stay. We have been visiting this area for 6 years twice or three times a year. We have stayed here before. Mostly because the pool area is awesome if you have kiddos. Let’s just say it was horribly disappointing and I don’t think we will be back. We will take our business somewhere we aren’t treated like garbage.

Great place, super clean, everything was great except some minor things. The hallway were the pool area is very dark the floor slopes down there, I hyperextended my knee there and fell down. Pool was down for maintenance well use it next time.

The employees were lovely and friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately, that's the highest compliment this place can get. The $15 breakfast buffet was deeply unsatisfying, and the best items off it probably came from a freezer package. The biscuits for biscuits and gravy were dry, the eggs tasted like sawdust, and the pancakes left a lot to be desired. The rooms were adequate but clearly haven't been updated or remodeled since conception. Everything worked, the AC wasn't noisy, and there were no signs of bug infestation so at least there's that. It was a place to sleep while we were in town and not much else. Probably not worth the amount they are charging per night.

Don't forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This website will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the best in the area. I have been coming here for a long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. Since I walked in. The vibe was great. I told the ladies I had a car issue and they were super accommodating and understanding. They were open to go the extra mile so that my stress would be at minimum .The ladies up at the front desk were amazing in every way possible. The cleaning services ladies were also super attentive and making sure we had it all. The place is super clean and it's a very beautiful place. If I had to do this trip again I would stay there without a question.

Beautiful hotel, easy access, friendly staff, clean. The pool was closed, but it was pretty to look at and beautiful view from the pool area. A restaurant and bar were also located on the main floor, which was very much appreciated. After a long active day, it was great to socialize and eat right there, and not having to worry about driving. Highly recommended

This looks hotel looks really nice inside lobby area but got CATFISH as we walked the halls to the room, the room was outdated, bathroom was not cleaned, had to call front desk to come clean inside of toilet nasty, the shower was horrible and raggedy looking, the swimming pool was out of service! Rooms stinks, and the elevator is raggedy and the ceiling light of elevator was broken , I advise booking room elsewhere, we was very uncomfortable in the room we literally slept in our clothes! we checked out early! Thank God we only booked for one night, just to attend a family member wedding! But never again!

3rd time staying here, each time became worse than the last. Room was small with extremely small doorways with the vanity way lower than normal. My TV didn't work and the soap etc was missing, I had torn towels as well. I tried calling the front desk repeatedly with no answer. I contacted customer service and was told someone would assist me, no such luck. I continued to call the front desk until I received an answer. The clerk was rude and argumentative and initially stated someone would assist then changed to me having to move to a different room. The new room smelled like smoke and had a dirty film on the window. I tried to explain this to the manager in the am. She was clearly overwhelmed and stated it was too hard to get anyone to work there. She also seemed too intimated by the night clerk to even address the issues. With plenty of other hotels in the area, choose another. This was my last time, I'd rather sleep in my car.

Pool was closed even though i specifically asked if it was open when i checked in. I was told the sign that said it was closed was wrong. No ac in the halls or elevator. Walls are paper thin. AC In the room kept me up all night because it was so loud. Bed was rock hard. Go across the river and spend the extra $20 for a nice hotel. Update. They changed me for two nights even though I told them i would call them to confirm my 2nd night reservation. Within 20 minutes of being in my room i called and said i definitely wont be staying a second night. I never asked them to charge me 2 nights Worst hotel i have ever stayed at. Don't be like me and try to give them them a chance. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH YOUR MONEY.

Stayed for one night. Definitely not a smoke free hotel. Lots of marijuana smoked in and out of the facility. It was vented into our bathroom at night. Key cards didn’t work and needed to go back to front desk. Getting to the front desk was a maze due to multiple buildings. Toilet was constantly running and had to use the phone with some red substance on it(?lipstick). Toilet still ran after maintenance fixed it so my husband just shut the water off to it. Pool has security people due to too many locals sneaking in. Pretty sure I saw a drug deal (not marijuana) during our brief time in the pool before the whistle was blown to exit. Will not stay again. Considered leaving.

This had one time been a very nice, elegant hotel at one time . Even has a helicopter landing pad at side of parking lot. Entrance was confusing. They need to put a sign on the locked restaurant doors to use other doors. Gorgeous pool but it was closed for some reason and has been for some time. Halls and lobby was nice but carpets need a good cleaning, not just perfume that just makes it sickly smelly. Outside stairs need of repair. TV in our room did not get any signal. Beds were clean and comfy. Plenty of hot water and good pressure in shower. No microwave but nice mini fridge. Very cool, historic hotel at one time. Hope they can get it back to great condition. Lots of potential with some TLC.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Was in the Kentucky area for about 2 weeks and stayed at a few different hotels a long the way. This was by far the best. Super clean, great room, great indoor pool and location is solid if visiting Louisville. Service was great too. Definitely get more than you pay for. Only downside was that our room didn't have a microwave, which I found odd. But had a huge fridge, which was nice.

Someone on staff tried to enter my room while I was in bed. All of the sudden the door starts being unlocked. Luckily I had the extra latch on, so they couldn’t get in - despite trying twice without announcing themselves or so much as apologizing. When I get to the door, no one’s around, so I call the front desk - they seem surprised and say they’ll call me back. They never called me back so I went down to the desk and the manager has a story about a guest being locked out and maintenance letting them back in their room and getting confused about which room. Which seems wild, and I ask why they wouldn’t announce themselves or why they would keep trying against the inside latch and why they wouldn’t say something after the fact after realizing that clearly someone was inside the room? I told her that none of that made sense and it’s not acceptable. She told me “I’m sorry you feel that way”. Unbelievable. The other reviews are pretty accurate that it’s not the cleanest and definitely not updated in any way - lots of things not working (ice machine, pool, etc). None of that bothered me because it was a bed and there weren’t any bugs, and that was enough for what I needed. But the total apathy of the manager about what happened was just too much for me.

My daughter and I stayed for a 2 day trip. The hotel in itself is beautiful and has so much potential. However, the hallways were dark and had a horrible smell. The room was outdated and also had a very bad smell. There was no actual sense of security as no one was at the front desk majority of the time and rooms could be accessed just by walking in. I went out and bought cleaning supplies myself due to the toilet being filthy as well as the shower which did not work as it should have. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I would not stay here again

We stayed here during the Louder Than Life Music Festival as it was only a 15 min drive and saved a good chunk of money. The Lobby, Restaurant, and Pool area all looked updated and very clean/nice. The issue arises when we were walking to and got to our first room. Things look dated the first room was cleaned properly found a dirty rag and lighter under our mattress this was quickly addressed and we were given another room though the help desk girl did not seem happy to be bothered granted this was a late check in. Anyways we get our new room its clean, smells clean like it was just finished. In the room again dated but very spacious issue here for me with my stay being because a music festival on my feet is the bed, it is like laying on a slab hard as a rock. I would stay here again if needed but I may look for something a little more up to date next time.

Though COVID has altered the service levels and general atmosphere of many businesses. This hotel seems to be operating normally and the facility is pretty nice. The room was comfortable and the rate was pretty good. We didn't have any problems, though another customer reported he was out in a room that hadn't been cleaned.

At one time I'm sure this place was wonderful, but it is desperate need of some TLC. Nice lake right outside. Easy check in, staff was very helpful, but the place needs some updating. The indoor pool was quite large and the room that it was in would make for a great place to hang out. My room was clean, no issues there, it was just dated. The curtains needed to be replaced, the bathtub needed a new stopper, the carpet needed a good cleaning. It just felt dated. It looks like they are trying to make it better, there was no trash or even cigarette butts on the ground, but the grounds really need a facelift. Beautiful views of the lake though.

I wish I could give all zeros. Disgusting bathroom with blood spatter on the mirror and the toilet didn’t flush right. Asked for additional coffee and nobody showed up. Stopped at the front desk only to be met by a rude lady who said well I can’t be here 24/7 and I’m the only one who signed in the program to check messages apparently. NOT MY PROBLEM! As I’m walking away she starts laughing with another employee that I just wasn’t happy. Yeah it’s funny. It will be when your business tanks due to poor management!!

Hotel just added to Choice chain, so we used some points when visiting Louisville. We stayed in the "I Wing" which is the building adjacent to the tower. Living spaces in the double bed rooms are nice, renovated perhaps in past few years. Bathrooms are outdated, tiny, and with lower than normal toilets and vanity. I don't think we were in a handicap room as the doorways were very narrow, but i suppose its possible. The lobby area is plush as is the restaurant. The food is average. Didn't use the pool, but it looked very nice. Parking lot may have been 10% full the 3 days we were there. Not in the best location (right on the highway near an RV sales lot). If we go back, we will try the tower.

Now! I've been waiting to review this hotel. I read the past reviews, but I'm a person that likes to see for myself" First off a huge shout out to Mr. Michael!! He's the front desk customer service rep, he really accommodated us in such a huge way as we had just arrived to their city late thar night. I could tell that the hotel at one time in life must've been A Big deal. It has so much potential. I really hope and pray that it makes a Major Come Back! The rooms were clean, but needs a lot of cosmetics of updates. The location felt safe too. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Before you finalize any booking, take a moment to visit ʜᴏᴛᴇʟᴅᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ It turned my almost-expensive trip into a budget-friendly escape. I booked a room last-minute as a travel nurse due to inclement weather. Booking online was simple and fast. The receptionist was kind and allowed me to manually punch in my debit card number because I didn't have my physical card on me. The bartender was friendly and energetic, seemed to love his job. My room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint is the coffee in the room was kinda gross, but there is a Starbucks right around the corner!

Rooms was ok not like the pictures show. The only nice thing about the hotel was the main entrance once you went to your room it got really nasty looking will not be back. They didn't have coffee in the mornings or breakfast if you wanted anything like that you had to buy it from the restaurant inside. The door leading into the hall where room was had been shattered looked like a bullet hole. Got pics of it but wouldn't let me post it. Bad choice

The last 2 times I've come to town I stayed at the motel 6 in Clarksville. This time I decided to spend some more and treat myself to an actual hotel. Went from $50 a night to $100 a night but whatever, I just wanted a really nice room/bed to sleep in. The room is awful. Same bed as the motel. Same thing blankets and flat pillows. Same dirty carpet. Same tiny bathroom. I paid $300 for this room including the deposit and this is what I get? I should've just kept the motel this is ridiculous. The door sticks crazy bad too and the rooms aren't sound proof and we can hear everyones tvs.

This was the worst hotel we have ever booked through hotwire. We booked this due to a wedding close by and wanted our kids to have somewhere fun to stay with an indoor pool. I’m not sure how they can call it that when there is no heat at all in the building. You’ll get hypothermia if you try to swim INDOOR there. Ruined everything for our kids. Not to mention the rooms were not the best, bugs, paint chipping, the hallways had no heat. The worst part was housekeeping kept trying to get into our room several times before checkout. So freaking rude. Don’t stay here

  • 1/5 Brittney R. 4 months ago on Google
This hotel is not at all like pictured. Do not be deceived. The outside leaves a lot to be desired. The hallways look like something out of the shining. The rooms real of mold with the ceilings showing evidence of water damage. Our room was not ready so we were switched. Room was still lacking. This place needs a lot of work

This place was great ! We spent a week here and did the truck show in Louisville. Angie, George, Fred and Chuck you people were awesome. Your hospitality was over the top. The hotel itself could use a facelift but the people that work here were great. Thank you.

Even as you first pull up, you can tell this is a much older hotel than average. I was honestly surprised it was a Radisson brand. While the lobby area and staff were nice, things change quickly beyond that. There's a "Holi-dome" feel about the pool area. It looks nice but the pool was closed during my stay. The rooms have updated furniture, but the bathrooms really show their age. Our counter was at a very low height, about mid-thigh. The bathroom was very small compared to most hotels I've stayed at. The halls and hotel in general show their age quickly. The exterior had cobwebs all over windows and showed that the place could use a good exterior power wash. Next time I visit Louisville, I will surely find somewhere else to stay. This was like visiting a 1992 hotel but paying 2022 price of $170/night.

Staff and front desk area were nice. Room was clean but could use updates, especially the bathroom. We negotiated a better price and would say it was worth what we paid. There was no breakfast as advertised.

The staff was all very friendly and helpful. Destiny after the first night( we stayed 5 night) offered to move us to a 1st room( we didn't even ask for) that had a patio and over looked the lake. The room was very clean and nice. Only complaint they need to update their website. The inside pool was nice but there is no longer a outside pool or mini golf.

The reviews were so off with this one! I was coming into town from out of state. For the price I wasn't expecting much. My friend checked in for me due to a delayed flight. So I don't know how that process went. Saw lots of reviews of no microwave in the room. Was prepared for that. Guess what? there was a microwave. The room smelled like old tweeker hotel. We bought air freshener wasn't enough...brought the smell back with me to California. But, I'm going to be honest now. The room wasn't that bad. For the cost. I was expecting way worst. Stayed for 5 days. Was kinda not feeling the pool area there was a little league baseball tournament and the place was rampant with kids. Tried to enjoy the outside area. Got rocks thrown at us by the kids on "accident" this place gets 4 stars because of the smell. BUT, will definitely stay again.

we got our hotel booked from trip.com, great!! i believe we only paid 88 dollars total we did have a breakfast fee of 10.99 per person but was buffet style and had great option with great service from all staff members. the pool was awesome we didn't get a chance to swim but its a have to see for yourself.. loved it. the rooms was cool basic and had tones of exit location close to parking lot. right across the bridge from downtown louisville hot spot , great sights and the ferry is only 10$!!! amazing trip. 5 min from hotel!

The rooms were ok.. Definitely nothing to brag about. The mattress was gross so I totally slept in a chair with my feet propped up my entire stay. The curtains need to be replaced. Honestly the entire hotel needs to be revamped. The lady in Champions was really nice and there is a mother/daughter that works there that are super nice. Will I ever stay again....probably not! But when the price is cheaper than other places, you take what you can get.

Hotel was fine, a little dated but I don't care about that. Rooms were average, appeared to be clean. Pillows were 1/2 the size of a standard pillow inside a standard pillow case... they were mismatched and hard as can be. Not a comfortable sleep at all unfortunately. My only other disappointment was that for my 5 night stay housekeeping didn't service the room at all... even though upon check in I was told the rooms are serviced by housekeeping every 3 days. To be honest though... if the Pillows were good I would have never written a review.

I loved staying at The Radisson hotel! Beautiful hotel and the guy who was working the front desk was very Friendly and helpful. The room was very nice. We stayed in a double queen room. The beds were comfortable. A TV, table, chair and coffee maker, with 2 coffee cups are available to use. The bathroom had a bathtub, and had shampoo conditioner and body wash and lotion available.

We had to book online and pay online to get the best deal. We booked 2 days based on the information of them having the pool and the breakfast bar. The pool was down for 10 days to be repainted (NOT mentioned on the website). The breakfast bar was NOT open for two days. Then at 8 am a knock on the door woke us up. Housekeeping! 8 AM in the morning! Our room keys kept having problems. They booked us on the opposite side of the office, so we had to drive around to the main office to get our keys operational again. We have stayed here before and everything was great then, but this time around they seem to be lacking in everything. Would I stay again? Maybe, but it forces us to call and ask a lot of questions first (is your pool open for public use? If you have a hot tub - is it open for public use… etc..). This time around it was just very disappointing.

We stay here several times a year when traveling through area. Rooms are always clean. Staff very nice, lots of parking. Back lot on south east part of buildings needs more lighting. Onlt one light was working. Disappointed last two visits, December and July, pool was closed. Maintenance.

I would give this hotel no stars if I could. The lobby was pretty and staff was nice, but my room was absolutely horrible. There were broken tiles or they were just missing. The pop machine on our wing was completely sold out of everything. The whole floor smelt like weed. One of the rooms was missing the number on the outside so they just wrote the number on a piece of cardboard and taped it to the wall. Once in the room it had a horrible smell of mold and was extremely musty. The toilet seat was broken and wasn’t even secured on the toilet. The shower curtain had rips in it. The bed was extremely hard, and the pillows were the size of throw pillows. I had to go to wal mart and buy air freshener because the smell was so overwhelming. I definitely would not stay here ever again. If I didn’t check in so late and was going to have to stay more then just one night I wouldn’t of even stayed.

Honestly…this is the worst mattress I have ever slept on. I’m still here, and it’s 6:30a. I can’t sleep it’s so terrible. The sheets and blanket are not awesome either. The guy at the front desk was great, I liked him. But that’s it. I will never come here again. When you pay for a bed you expect it to be awesome…I could have had a better sleep at the red roof.

The place has great views. Decent rooms and good house keeping. My building had an electrical fire. Well because of my building type we was placed here. However, they discriminated against us and thought all of us were dirty, they closed they pool down.Well another of the residents left and some stayed. They just put out a sign today. Saying pool is temporarily closed. Not the five days I've been here. There is nothing wrong with the pool. The only people that were nice were a waitress and the desk guy Ray. House keeping don't speak same language but they are nice also.

I love love love this hotel! The old building and the atmosphere. The long and maze like hallways are cool. The staff are all great. The food and bar are good. The pool looks like fun, I haven't gotten in yet. Plenty of stuff to see and do in here. The price is great as well.

This place is beautiful ! The rooms are quite dated and the building is old but the inside of the lobby and throughout is really pretty. It’s clean and smells good too! The staff were very friendly and made the check in process quick and easy which was a relief since the hotels prior to this one were a nightmare. Good food to eat as well, in the restaurant that’s located inside the hotel !!!

A unique hotel with very clean rooms. The Earl Grey tea with the coffee machine is unique as most coffee machines in the room only come with regular coffee or tea. The restaurant opened for a lunch buffet for under $14 that is excellent. Prime rib, apple and cherry cobbler, salad, soup vegetables, potatoes, chicken wings, spaghetti were all very very good. The beds are springy but they're still comfy. This hotel also has a beautiful courtyard and is just as pretty inside. A great place.

Looks much nicer online than it really is. Location is nice, not a bad commute to Louisville, cheap and afordable. Nice pool and inside looks nice. Gets a little dumpy walking down towards the room. Shower was gross, as well as finding out the comforter was dirty. AC loud/not the greatest.

The lobby looks like an amazing place. Totally misleading!!! The food places weren't open. Was told the pool wasn't open, but people were in it!! No free breakfast. The hotel and elevators smelled like mold. Asked for lake view and saw trees. Not saying it's a bad place. Just saying be prepared.

Our room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel staff were all very nice and helpful. The motel may be dated but the pool area was big with a nice pool. Would be a nice place for a child’s birthday party. The restaurant was open. I’d stay here again. I’ve stayed in a lot worse places for much more money.

Can't give a real review because I never got to stay there. Booked My trip for Derby week on a great deal. Went to ask for a request to the hotel and was told my room was canceled by the hotel. Was told there was a glitch in the system and that's why my price was so great. So I was never told the room was cancelled If I didn't request anything I would've shown up here with no room on the busiest week of the year. They told me to go pound sand and sue them very unprofessionally I may add. I was already nervous to stay here with the other reviews I am seeing so this is probably a blessing in disguise but even if you get a reservation here you may not have a room when you get there. Good Luck All

The hotel was nice for the most part. The room didn't have any hot water when we went to shower. The bar/restaurant you couldn't get any service we sat there for 30 minutes before leaving and going somewhere else.
