Gross and dishonest hotel. Unfortunately, this was the grossest Marriott we did not end up staying in. It is far from the Marriott standard. When we walked in the building there was a foul odor present. We then proceeded to check into our room. In our room there was pubic hair in the sink, the bathroom floors were sticky, the bed sheets didn't fit and there was dust and grime over the drawers and windowsills. Not to mention the crumbs all over the chair in the hotel room. We talked to the front desk and they said we could cancel our reservation, no problem. We left our keys and left the hotel. Unfortunately, although they informed us we could cancel, we still received a bill from the hotel taking our Marriott points. We called Marriott to discuss this and they said the hotel claimed we still stayed overnight in the hotel. We then called the hotel and the front desk attendant hung up our phone call. I recommend you avoid spending money or Marriott points here unless you want to be disappointed.

This is probably the worst fairfield inn I have ever been too. The staff was rude. They kept telling people if they don't like it they can leave. All the rooms were dirty. We were with a group that had 7 rooms. No spare blankets for the pull out couches. No towels. Trash and food in the "clean " rooms. Our A/C didn't work and the room was 75ยฐ the entire night. Breakfast tasted terrible. No milk at all. No cups for drinks. Food tasted like it had been reheated 10 times. Do not waste your money.

We arrived after 9 pm. The check-in desk was unmanned, but a clerk did come out when we called for someone. The room was standard as one would expect from a budget hotel. The entire floor was under renovations, so the hallway was not very clean, and our room was still outdated looking meaning we didn't have a renovated room. No bathtub. Looking for a place to eat at that hour proved difficult. The neighborhood seemed sketchy, and not one fast food place was open. If fast food closes their doors after dark, it means don't linger in the area. The hotel had "Free" breakfast in the lobby until 9 am. Nothing on the breakfast bar would have been legal to sell much less feed their guests. By 8:15, the entire breakfast hot- line was scant, picked over, and cold to the touch. The waffle machine wasn't working because there was no batter. Turkey sausage was sharing a pan with bacon. Receptionist, when I asked if fresh food was coming soon, she responded, "I don't know, I'm not even supposed to be here today", then she disappeared behind a door never to be seen again. Of course, we left and ate elsewhere.

I walked into my room to find that there may have been someone in the room already. Noticed the bathroom light on, but I didn't think about it until I noticed the bed messed up. I backed out slow and went down and asked for another room. The girl at the desk said there wasn't anyone in the room it probably just didn't get cleaned. After I got the other room, it seemed OK, until I went to shower. No bath mat or extra towel to put down on the floor, no body wash and towels were stained and dingy. Over night, my grandson had an accident, and the bed was wet. Before leaving, I requested to have my sheets changed while I was gone. I explained that I would be gone and be back late. When I came back, my sheets were sitting on the floor in front of my door. MY CLEAN SHEETS! It was after midnight that the girl at the desk couldn't do anything she couldn't even give me body wash. I stripped the sheets to find the mattress completely stained throughout. At this point, with it being so late, I just put the sheets on and laid on top of them. This morning, I spoke to the lady at the desk, and all I got was "I'm sorry" ask for a manager card and was told they didn't have any cards. No gluten-free options for breakfast, no milk alternative ๐Ÿ˜ž

Great location! Right across the bridge/river from Louisville. Rooms are clean and comfortable, lots of space. AC works really well. Lots of outlets, mostly regular but a few USB as well. Breakfast was subpar. Not much selection, and whatever I had gave me heartburn for the rest of the day. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed for 3 days and not once was our room cleaned which is unacceptable! Ran out of Kleenex and toilet paper. Was told the front desk didn't have access to the storage area so there was nothing they could do. If I were the CEO of Marriott, I would be ashamed of this establishment! Apparently it needs new management!!

The room itself met expectations, and the human service was good considering the limitations. Breakfast was mediocre at best compared to other Marriott Fairfield Inns. No milk, no fresh scrambled eggs, no substantial breakfast fruits (only apples). One gentleman said they had no milk the duration of his stay (4 days). One would think management could have purchased necessary supplies locally. The fitness room had nice equipment, but the room itself was a sauna (no thermostat. Sufficient but not comfortable. To top off the stay, the elevator stopped working in the morning (no sign on upper floors indicating out of order). I cannot fault the staff as they did the best they could with what they were given. However, this location does not live up to Marriott standards.

Desk agent India was a special "jewel". Our entire stay was exceptional. Look forward to repeat visits in the future.

Waited over 3 hours and had to ask multiple times for towels, ran out of pillows and breakfast was not ready at 730am as promised. When I came back down at 9am, about 20 people were in line just waiting. Was not prepared and no teamwork to help.

The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Great location right across the Louisville river, it's very convenient. This place is very quite to get good slip. Very clean room & beds was really clean & comfortable. We also enjoyed nice & clean swimming pool. Also enjoyed breakfast in the morning, it was really nice. We loved our stay at this motel. We recommend this place & we will back & stay again for sure.

I checked in about 7pm and The young black lady at the front was nice she got me checked in very fast and told me about breakfast. The room was missing a few things like soap and washcloths so I went back to the front desk she found some and offered me a free refreshment. The breakfast was honestly pretty good. I would stay again.

The hotel was clean. Bathrooms, lobby, halls, elevator, pool area, all clean. However, the hotel is run down and the amenities are minimal. No pool towels, no beverages for sale, juice machine broken and breakfast was not restocked when something ran out. There was also a very strong deodorant/freshener smell in the halls that was very unpleasant. The pool is warm, there is a hot tub and both were clean.

Great location for getting onto and off I-65. The property is worn, but being maintained. Front desk service was attentive for us...we received immediate attention, unlike the busload of travelers who's rooms weren't ready at check-in. Breakfast was spotty: the morning we were there, there were no eggs (truck didn't come in excuse); the coffee is too strong and we had to go out and get it from Dunkin.

We stayed 1 night because we were going to have some post-op surgery at 7am at Metro Specialty. AGM George Lindsey attended to everything we asked for and was very professional at his job. Our room was clean and fresh. Breakfast was great.

Very comparable to a Hampton or Holiday inn Express. Check in was confusing and there was an issue but the guy figured it out. Rooms were clean and very nice. The parking lot is very small and packed. The hotel does have some amenities around it but it sits amongst some apartments and kinda hard to find hidden out back

We enjoyed our stay here! The front desk was so pleasant and the rooms are nice. The AC works wonderful! Love the beds! Comfy.. The maintenance man, Joe? What a wonderful character! So nice! Service is on point! The only issue is the hair on the bathroom floor, and found one in the sheets. I pondered whether to mention anything about that because Marriott is an awesome brand and this is definitely aberrant.

This was such an amazing experience!!! I would return in a heartbeat and recommend it again and again, although this was my first stay! Firstly, I was warmly greeted by Abigail with the beautiful brown freckled face. She made me feel warm and welcome! They graciously honoured my AAA membership and I got a smol discount. Everyone at the front desk was very nice. The breakfast๐Ÿณโ˜•๐Ÿž food was wonderful! They had so many options! Even offering almond milk along side regular milk. The room itself was both spacious and clean. The room smelled wonderful every time I walked in. I got to enjoy both the pool and jacuzzi, and although they also had a gym, I didn't make it there. I was immensely impressed that the shampoo, conditioner and body wash we're in large bottles! I have nothing but positive reviews about this place! Please give it a chance!!!

Stayed 1 night with the family. Booked 2 rooms. Rooms are ok, breakfast was good. Swimming pool is fine but a bit old and needs some renovation. Couple hours after checkout realized that I left my cooling bag in the fridge. Called the hotel and asked if I can stop by on my way out of town and get it back. Front desk person said housekeeping is gone and they haven't left my cooling bag with lost and found. I still decided to stop by and indeed my bag was missing. Front desk manager refused to help me any further at that point. She was almost rude to me I should say. Left dissapointed.

If you get a room anywhere near the pool you won't be able to sleep due to the non stop whine of the pool pump.

Mercy and Candice were top notch receptionist of the world. They even helped me with a dental procedure....best duo in the history of Marriot.

Management is terrible they tend to lie...alot especially if its Heather. The kitchen is dirty and the floors need to be moped. If they lie and treat there employees bad what are they lying to you about? And watch out for that Heather shes very unprofessional and stands by that. Warning just be careful. Happy Holidays!!

Got in the room and immediately had to kill a roach. My husband let the staff know, they said they would look for another room and we never heard from them. We didn't have enough towels for our family of 4 so when my husband asked for more they hesitated to give them because โ€œsome people steal towels.โ€ We are not trying to steal your towels haha. Geez. The mattresses had stains on them. We will never stay here again when we come back in town.

Have stayed in this hotel every time I'm in the area and it has been great! The staff is very friendly and does their best to answer any questions. They have a free hot breakfast ( which is great because a lot of hotels still don't after covid.) As a whole, the hotel is a little outdated compared to some of the new ones but it's very clean and well kept. It's in the perfect location if you are visiting downtown Louisville or even campus to see a student. This is always my preferred hotel when in the area!

Pleasant stay at the hotel. The room was big and clean, the staff was friendly, parking was easy. The breakfast could have had additional options but overall it was good. Would recommend staying here if you are in the Louisville area.

It was a okay stay, service was great and nice! But when we entered the 3rd floor it smelled like hard w**d and none of the outlets in our room worked very well.
